Kraken Pro: Advanced Bitcoin & Crypto Trading

The account setup has been an absolute nightmare. The account was going to be easy to setup and low verification was required. Once finished, I was requested to produce additional verification. So I did. I received an email stating I was verified. That came to a screeching halt once I tried to setup my banking information. Said I was unverified. Several attempts with CS and all they do is go in circles. HUGE PAIN IN THE ARSE! Over a year later, and still not resolved. Unistalling!

Haven't been using this platform for too long, but I gotta hand it to the customer service team, quick response and very helpful in recovering my old account. The API key is super helpful to link the desktop exchange to your app so you can check your orders on the go. Overall very impressive app so far. Im considering making this my main trading platform. If i were to make a request, add options for advanced chart features like RSI, moving averages, bollinger bands

Down to 1 star. I consistently have disappearing open orders from the app to the point where it seems they didn't get created, I make a new one and end up trading twice because both went in but didn't appear. That also prevents the ability to cancel. This is not acceptable.

Using the app quite a while and satisfied so far except that there is a bug, where my limit order is still showing in the UI even though it has already been fulfilled. Edit: seems like signing out and signing in fixes it, but please fix the discrepancy without needing me to relogin. This bug will also lock up the fiat amount used for the limit order, which also cannot be deleted as it does not exist anymore.

App is decent enough. UI is clear. Downside is the background data usage. Up to 700 MB a day. Also the app doesn't remember the last item it was on when closed. Sometimes the data in the app and website are different. Small things like that should be fixed

I like the app over all, the only down side is I can't get one of my banks connected directly. This either forces me to use Google pay, for a significantly higher fee, or I have to route money through my other bank accounts via transfer. I can get what I need done, its just more steps than I care for.

I used their customer service recently and it was phenomenal! Most exchanges have terrible customer service. The app is really easy to use. Staking options are great.

Useless app. Login freezing issues. Slow to navigate. Market orders aren't real market orders they create a limit order a the current price so either the order fails to execute or you end up with some leftover currency that you can't use to make another order because it is below the minimum order quantity. Really poor interface. Such a shame because Kraken is actually a reliable exchange.

When a trade is complete, buy or sell order executed (I can see price go well above my sell or well below my buy level) I have to shut the app down and re open for balances to update. Didn't use to do this. I have the app on 3 devices same problem on each so not a device issue. Other than this annoying bug its a brilliant app.

I thought other apps/exchange were good.. compared to Kraken they are just terrible. Incredible clarity in its use, useful functionalities, tremendous high level of security, and efficient (24/7) online support. Update after months of use: still very, very good

Working great! Awesome and fast customer service!!! Updates working well. App better than ever. Wish it still reflected USD gained staking instead of quantity of tokens. Best exchange 💱 as far as I'm concerned. Just wish it wouldn't bother me for reviews periodically when one as already been submitted.

Funcionalities are quite basic even in the 'Pro' version. Not really usefull for anything else than checking your ballance. It's quute slow, constantly lagging, lacks even simple functionalities like search option in the markets section. Placing orders is full of bugs and the app sometimes even crashes while doing it, there is no access to the staking and funding sections of the website, no options to set alarms or notifications... etc... Kraken logo is cool though

It would be nice if we could alphabetize our assets on the watch list, so that our favourite pairs are grouped and not scattered in a chronological order (based on the order and time they were added in/at) One other thing would be very nice and convenient to have an option to see how much assets we have in BTC value, rather than FIAT.

When I try to make a trade it takes ages for the numbers to appear on the screen. Sometimes they are pressed instanlty but most of the times there is a huge delay or they never appear. Its a horrible experience when u wanna make a quick and very important trade. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app several times and the problem is always there. Updates are up to date. My phone works fine. I DO NOT recommend this app.

Best for higher volume trading because lower fees than the regular app. But I use both because sometimes I just want to throw 1€ on something and Binance doesn't let you do that. Minimum 15 Euro for most coins. Love the flexibility of buying small and large and with an easy to use interface. Great for someone who wants to balance their portfolio frequently. Only wish your debit card payments were reasonable. Bank transfers always take long and sometimes you just want to hop in on a trade.

Finally there is an app. So far it is working good and secure. 14-MAY-2022 Dropped rating to 2 stars as the app is not displaying properly on tablets. Please fix the UX design for landscape use.

Nice app. However when scrolling through your watch list, you must scroll straight up and down. If not, you end up deleting a currency from your list. Very annoying having to go through every asset trying to find the currency you just accidently removed from the list. The December 15 update is lousy. About the only difference I can see is the new chart, and it's horrible. Thank you for fixing the problem with the price chart on today's update. All is right again.

Real nice app, only thing that bothers me is that I accidentally keep removing my favourites when scrolling. Unintentionally swiping a coin to the left happens frequently, even when the finger movement is very minimal. Why does there have to be a shortcut for this anyway, removing/adding coins to favourites is not something that typically gets done multiple times a day. Edit: this has been patched, neat :)

Easy to use features. Reliable and Trust worthy. Fast transactions The only down side I see it's methods of funding are restricted. (Would have been 5 star if they had interact) There is no inter-act Etransfer to my knowledge. Other than that I recommend using Kraken.

Funny story, tier 1 thinks they shouldn't escalate problems that are app based and not user based. In this case, recently the available balance on all currencies shows the same as current balance of currencies. Both on the info screen and trading screen.

The app is helpful and simple to use. However, I currently do not see a way to chart or draw on the app which can make it more difficult and frustrating to use. Please update this Kraken!!! :)

Great app usually but the balances page hasn't loaded for the last month (edit) I just had to fully signout and re-sign in for it to show up. My bad fixed the review because it is a great app!

Kraken gets a 1 stat rating due to the massive trade it just cost me. I saw an opportunity, tried to deposit, and....nothing. and I've deposited several times before. All other exchanges I've used, instant money access.. I just lost huge money due to missing the trade because of your incompetence. Pls send me 1000 bucks that you cost Me. DONT USE THIS EXCHANGE

Very good and intuitive app. Only thing in general is the platform doesnot give a profit/loss for the assets. Would be great if this can be part of dashboard

App is decent but lacks functionality. It would be nice to have support for indicators and recent orders when looking at a coins graph.

This app is too slow. I've been trying to make an order for the past two days to no avail. Just had a potential 40% gain to my investment turn to nothing because of orders failing to go through.

Love the new Pro app! I've been waiting for in app staking and this Pro app delivers. User interface is clean and simple with all the security features including 2FA and Biometric scanner.
