The app is a great tool for joining the membership club. However, it does little else. You can look up med prices but you cannot order them. You can transfer prescriptions from another pharmacy but again you can't order them. You cannot order refills. After a month, and purchasing meds, it shows I have made no purchases. The interface is poor. The pharmacy is quite capable and the prices are often very good. But this app is terrible at best. If I could give it less stars I would.
The login experience is poor. I created my account on their web site, and clicked on the option to use my Google account for signing in. This app does not support that option, so I had to create a password. Not the end of the world but consistency would be great.
Can't order refills, and the app provides no information whatsoever. It looks, feels, and operates like a fake scam app. You can't buy or pay for anything through the app, but for some reason it still lets you store your credit card info in it... Hmm....
Nice, simple, intuitive interface. Unable to submit refill requests, but I'm able to use the store's app to do that, anyway (King Soopers; can't vouch for others). Can't login with emails registered via Google on app, but found a workaround (attempt to login normally until account gets locked -> reset password -> login normally). Happy to pay $36/year for Rxs that cost $15/mo instead of going to another pharmacy and paying $50/mo with GoodRx coupons applied.
Absolutely love this! Have already covered the cost of the $36 by being a member. Well worth checking into. Have insurance but this extra savings is great, was a little skeptical and at my local Kroger pharmacy I was one of the first to come in and use it. Hadn't even got my card yet used my app. We were both impressed with the savings, one of them that I pick up monthly was free. She was happy for me and I thank God for the savings and this app. Every little bit helps.
I have been extremely disappointed in this app (KSC) and this program. I found with cost comparison that the KSC prices were only less for a few of my perscriptions and I still had to use Good Rx directly and transfer to othe pharmacies. The point in signing up for the app was to save money AND make it easier. I found the app useless.
I am so glad I found out about this card. Before purchasing it, I compared all my scripts prices using my insurance and this card. On just 2 of my scripts I'm saving about $20. A month. The card is $36. It will pay for itself in less then 2 months. I'll end up saving over $200 a year. I am able to use my insurance or this card. Fry's will charge whichever one is cheapi. That is what sold me on getting this card. I purchased the card today and used it today. Thank you KrogerRxSC.
This app does not work on a Samsung S9. The fields are too narrow to enter the credit card information. Attempted to use a samsung tablet and it will not allow me to log into my account. Can not even sign up it doesn't bode well for what to have expected if I was able to sign up.
Don't listen to that other review the 36 bucks a year isn't just to use this app, it's to get the membership prices on your prescriptions. $36 a year is $3 a month. Including that, it's bringing my meds down to $23 a month from about $63 a month. I'm saving $40 a month, and $480 a year! Literally the cost of getting the membership and my meds was less than what I was already paying for just my meds! Heck! Much less of a big oof to my purse now.
I love the savings, but after the first day, I could never get the app to work. I need to add people, but I can't now. There's no website for me to go to and I don't know what to do now that I've paid $72 and can't use it to the extent I was told I could. Really disappointed in this app that just sits there and doesn't open. Even after uninstalling and reinstalling. Junk.
Can't log in - already have an account. I signed up online then downloaded the app. When I open the app, the only option is to create and account! I reenter my credentials and get a message "account created - try logging in" ... I would if I could but there is no option (or menu) that lets me login. But after reading the reviews, it does not seem like I need the app. Still wondering why a med with a GoodRX coupon at Kroger is cheaper than using my KrogerSC account?!!!
DELETING APP... I hate Krogers RX app! When I try to log in, it wont let me! If insurance allowed me to go back to Walgreens, I would in a heartbeat & I would NEVER return to Kroger. The hrs do NOT work for us either! Walgreens & the app is 24 hrs a day! Now the savings, are great! The Walgreens app is flawless! Somebody w/Krogers app design needs to figure out why Walgreens is so successful in every way.
If you are stupid and expect free handouts, go away. This requires a paid membership of $36 annually ($3 per month). Stop walking around aimlessly and use critical thinking. For the medication I'm taking, paying for the membership to use their service is still my cheapest route. I didn't know the app existed until after I paid for the membership.
This app is Good Rx App, If go directly to Good Rx it's free & get prices on all pharmacies & upgrading to GoodRx Gold for 6 people/pets it's $9.99 month. It's cheaper overall to pay$36 year on this app. So by comparison & my curiosity, Is this app any better than Good Rx gold or the same? I get all my meds thru Kroger anyway. Now that I have insurance it's free. Before, when I didn't have insurance. I used Good Rx every time. It saved me alot of $, & without it couldn't afford any of meds.
I can't log in as I keep getting this "That email address was registered with Google. Please try logging in." but there is no sign in with Google option like there is on the website. I have the saved password from Chrome, but the app won't take it, nor will it take my Google password...
This App Was Recommended To Save On Generic Prescriptions. I found that my prescriptions were $5 higher than without the card so i canceled my account. No Sense In spending the $72 and having no benefit. Check If Your Prescriptions Are available on there before signing up. Also The app is not very user friendly.
I can't sign in on the app. It says "That email address was registered with Google. Please try logging in." but there is no option on the app to sign in with Google like there is on the website.
App has no use to me if it doesn't allow logging in as Google. When signing up for a new account with Kroger's RX savings club it offered the ability to sign up using my Google account. However, the app only allows a traditional username and password login.
The drug prices are way cheaper using GOODRX for free. why pay for this, it has nothing but problems. Everytime I try to use it at the store they say I don't have an account. I would not recommend this to my worse enemy.
Garbage App. Seems to only cover the cheapest drugs. The more expensive ones, the ones I really need, not covered. Definitely not wasting my money or anymore time with this.
Wow, I thought this would be the best prices you could get, but you should really check out good RX before you go to Kroger. Just picked up a medication and I could get it cheaper at Winn-Dixie by $14. I usually get a great price, since I paid for this service, but you should still check when your doctor prescribes a medication.
I signed up for this service using the website, and logged in with my google account. However, the app does not provide this option, so I cannot log in using my google account.
Works very well, saves me a lot. Just one prescription that was hard to fill and it just took time because it was out from the manufacturer.
Worst app ever didn't let me login despite having exact correct credentials. I just wanted to order my prescriptions through the app. Can't even login. Stupid af.
I don't get this app, you could literally get the same deals for freaking free by going through GoodRx. Not only that, they don't offer "deals" on a lot of medications I put in. Make this service free or go home Kroger.
I just downloaded it less than an hour ago. Gave it a 2 because that is so annoying! I'll come back to change it when I know if I like it. Seriously, change that.
So happy Kroger is doing something to help us stay healthy and save us money! You can even compare medication prices before signing up just to make sure it's a good plan for you!
The app is adequate. ( note that the kingsport pharmacy has multiple excuses in delays of getting ones prescriptions filled, was told 2 hr delay on 2 different day and sometimes it takes week to get your medication refilled). There is no excuse for this because people not doing their job.)
Terrible. For some reason I'm excluded. So I tried to find contact info and couldnt. So I th in no it's a bad deal when you cant contact anybody for technical issues.
The $36 (individual) is the annual fee for the Rx Savings Club, not the app. Compared the prices on my scripts, and I should save around $400 a year. 10/21/19 Update: After 10 months my total savings is nearly $900. Thank you Kroger and GoodRx! Word of warning! If you live in the state of Washington forget about using this, as apparently the state prohibits these type of programs. I went to the Fred Meyer in Tumwater WA to have one of my sripts refilled, only to find out they cannot use it.
