Very buggy causing you to miss parts of whatever they're talking about (seems to buffer often even with excellent signal). Too many commercials for being a paid app. Latest weather video never seems to be updated. This app needs a lot of work. Probably will not renew and will not recommend.
Unhappy that I'm forced to watch commercials now, not to mention that as soon as one comes on, the app hangs & I'm forced to close & reopen. Super frustrating. I didn't mind paying for commercial free news 24 hours a day. Now the app & service are pretty much useless. Get it together, KRON, please!
Horrible app even when it's free. Sends me about 30 notifications per day with no option to shut it off. News is horribly arranged. This app is a complete fail through and through. I had it installed for 3 days and it had to go.
Easy way to get local news for cord cutters, subscription priced well, no need for antennas or to pay $20 per month to Xfinity Instant TV just to get local news. I hope this app sticks its purpose of serving news and doesn't resort to collecting data from phone.
My wife and I tried to download and watch the news on 2 different devices, and the app was so glitchy that it was impossible to watch. Most of the time there are no problems, but the past few days there have been some major bugs
commercials. It used claim commercial free. I paid for it, now they are offering it free to everyone. I guess thats why we are getting commercials now. and its not different commercials, it's the same one over and over. That lady from real estate. yuck. fix this or i am going to channel 5.
It is super slow app and useless. A single ad seems to own the station and shows on whenever and wherever possible.
It used to work great!! Now it doesnt,doesn't, only works for 10 secs and then I get commercials!! I'm paying for something that is not worth it anymore...please fix it!!
You have lost a viewer and I'm sure will be losing more. I live on the east coast and like to watch the news in the bay area. I refuse to pay for it as the other stations dont charge. Good luck on your money grab; I'll watch again when it's free!!!

Kept crashing when I was casting to TV. Lag was also severe enough that by the time I restarted the app and started live feed a whole press conference was over.
Content is what I expect from KRON4 but app interface is mediocre and aspect ratio for horizontal display chops off parts of top and bottom of screen where titles and tickers tend to be. Should remove forced horizontal display on pre-recorded content.
I saw how many 1 star reviews it had and now I know why. Its poorly set up. Used it for 5 mins then uninstalled. I'll stick to the regular news on tv..commercials and all.
App sucks. I could only hear sound but no video. The spinning wheel spins forever.
Info. Is good However it stops to buff and it stays that way too long. Very annoying.
This app is useless either on my phone or ROKU. For e.g., When watching Gov. Newsom's daily news conferences, there's a *huge* banner below him. There's also the weather along the left side. I switch to the NewsON app and choose KCRA, the Sacramento station. In addition, there's just no relevant information. Yes, I paid—sorry.
Need to improve ms speed, freeze when using chromecast.
Clicking on notifications does nothing. Then I go to the app and can't find the article.
Glitches way toooo much useless app. Thanks Nextel for taking away my local channel that I relied on for almost 40 years.

Works on my TV via ROKU but on my tablet, it only buffers since the latest update. Super Mega Bogus :(

Any app that pretends to be free but isnt, is an app you cant trust thus shoud be uninstall immediately. KRONon checks that box.
Having hard time streaming. Update doesnt seem to work
Used this app during PG&E's PSPS, it was very informative, thank you for taking down the paywall during that time! Might consider a subscription in the future!
"Download the Free app" they say but the content is not free. Another $ grab. Disappointed.
The new update has wrecked this app. Nothing works and the screen just flashes. I get audio but no picture and none of the commands at the bottom of the screen work. Fix this now!!!! This app used to be great.... Update... they fixed the problem and now it's working great. I have a paid subscription and I use it every day. Would get 5 stars if there were less ads.
