Seems I am having the same issues as others in that Alexa doesn't appear to be supported any more. Speaker does not respond to voice commands and Amazon does not appear in the set up after performing factory reset. Let's hope this is a bug that will be fixed soon. EDIT 10/1: Firmware has updated, Alexa is back! Thank you for the quick fix.

Got the Kitsound speaker as a birthday gift and it just doesn't work. The app connects, eventually, but I can't stream sound content to it like any other wireless speaker (YouTube, etc), it won't allow me to connect Spotify even because it has to be premium (unlike other wireless speakers I have) and I can't get Alexa to connect. Terrible. I'm going to get my other half to return this garbage and get a refund. Don't buy this!

the speaker is great apart from the EQ does not work. you can change the level of bass and treble but when you leave the the screen and go back in the levels are back down to zero. and the speaker bass and treble does not seem to change when you increase them anyways so it's all A bit pointless.

the app seems to have alot of glitches. i own two kitsound voice ones and the eq part of the app dose not work its set at it's lowest level both treble and bass and if adjusted it has no effect. once you leave the eq part of the app and then go back any adjustment you tried to make revert to the lowest setting. this is having a terrible effect on the sound as it very flat 👎

Unable to set up my speaker, I had to use the ios version, very poor, and once set up the equaliser is useless. When adjusted has no impact what so ever, then when you leave the eq setting page and return the levels are back at zero, please fix and I will re-review. I wait for an update.

I've had nothing but issues with this speaker since I got it. Constantly disconnecting from my WiFi network, it always managed to reconnect 10 minutes later however over the last 2 days its completely disconnected and no matter what I try it won't reconnect to my WiFi. Nothing in my setup has changed yet the speaker has now decided it doesn't want to connect. I've rated 2 stars as I believe the issue is the app and not the speaker itself.

The speaker serves it's purpose. Sound is good. I bought this product from my local B&M store - attracted by the price compared to the equivalent Amazon product. Accept that certain apps and services may not be available as a consequence of seeking value for money. Can be annoying to the not so savvy in our household if speaker reacts to random voices eg. from TV. Have learnt to switch it to silent mode for times when I know it's not going to be used.

I love the speaker and bought 3,one as a present and two for myself.The reason I give a one star is because of the app which made me really disappointed.It seems that I can't control the speakers individually when they are on the same wifi network.What I was really expecting was a totally independent control from each other (Alexa,volume,everthing) and in case I want to use the multi-room I could(with different volume!).Remote awful,2 bad out of 3.

Would be much better if I didn't have to reset the app every time I moved my speaker from home to work, why can't it just save the wifi networks instead of having to reset it every time, very frustrating. Edit. When are you going to add the ability to use mobile data / mobile hotspot ???

Was working perfectly till 3 days ago then it said it couldn't connect to my internet. I tried setting it all up again, but it still won't connect. I emailed Kitsound and they haven't even emailed me back yet. I'm guessing I won't even get a answer on here either on what's gone wrong, they take your money for the speakers then when it all goes wrong they just don't care!!!

I'm having the same trouble with connecting to Wifi as many of the previous reviews have stated, I have tried everything that I know to trouble shoot, but have been unsuccessful. I emailed to deaf ears, no response and I have a useless speaker.

Has problem streaming music where on each new track I have to pause and the play just to get it to work, also it needs some sort of AVL feature, the aux input is so quiet that you have to turn the volume up then when asking alexa anything you get deafened by her voice... Sort it for 5 stars

If your just downloading this app for your new speaker, put it back in the box and get a refund. Looses connection all the time, keeps telling me wrong password for WiFi when I've had the same pw for ever now and everything else works on it. Tried going through the help section on the app and direct to company and zero response. Get your money back and thank me later

Speaker works really well the only issue is that the speaker sometimes doesn't recognise when I say Alexa and also the EQ presets need fixing. in the app the feedback email needs fixing as it doesn't recognise @ and it says I can't send you any feedback

Not had a problem since I got this speaker last Christmas....until recently, when its suddenly decided that it can't connect...everytime I try to do anything other than bluetooth, I get told "I'm having a problem understanding right now, please try again later"....2 days later, still the same. currently useless. not a problem with my wife either as other devices have no problen

If you try and use the "My Music" feature it plays for a short time then stops. In order to get it to play you have to pause then play again, this is really irritating.

Since I changed broadband the app keeps telling me I've typed the password in wrong, well I haven't, so I can't use the speaker via the phone or alexa as I need to update amazon stuff through the app, at this point it's useless, no response from kitsound either.

Good job on the design and look and feel. some improvements needed. 1. It should only search for speaker if no previous speakers are connected. 2. The EQ is not working has no affect on the speaker.

Always lossing Wi-Fi connection app not connecting back to the speaker worked great for the first week then lost Wi-Fi connection and was removed from the alexa app. contract Amazon who regersted the voice one worked great again till today lost Wi-Fi connection yet again tried to reconnect and the app it's not connecting to the speaker

Speakers are good but app is not advanced enough. Very often forgets the speakers when moved to a different location and plugged into a different plug socket.

worked fine until new firmware update now I'm unable to use the Alexa voice control and any Alexa benefits it is now only good as an extra speaker in the home. not happy at all.!! Kitsound get it sorted out ASAP.

What a joke this company is! Bought the Hive20 & can't even use the app without adding it to my wifi & no response to phone calls or emails. Awful customer service. Would give it zero stars if I could! Avoid, avoid, avoid!!
