I love that this market is out there so our community can reuse items before they go to landfill, and it saves us all money! The scammers get really obnoxious, but their activity has died down lately. My only issue is that sometimes the app will bug out and not show me all of the results in a category. For example, I'll go to bed frames and it shows 1,000+ results, but only let's me view about 200 or so.
Works well, if the can figure out a way to weed out the scammers. Edit: CHANGED TO FIVE STARS! I'm not sure what KSL has done but... WOW!!! THEY'VE WEEDED OUT SCAMMERS. I have continued to list items for sale and I have not had ANYONE asking for a "code" lately. It's been a few months. GREAT WORK KSL!!! Your service to this community, the state and even the surrounding states is remarkable. I talk about the KSL classifieds a LOT. And I personally look at ads every day. THANKS FOR BEING AWESOME!
Best selling app ever in Utah! I've used ksl classifieds for over a decade and the app makes the experience so smooth. The updates are actually helpful and useful. This is the cleanest and best running app I've ever used. Highly recommended.
Nearly unusable. Timeout and connection errors. Used to work great. Not sure what happened.
Ksl Classifieds has always been a go to for buying and selling items for us. It's free and also allows you to pay a few bucks to have your ad featured. You get a high volume of sellers and buyers, but with that you also get a lot of scammers. Watch out for anybody that asks you to send them a code or send cashier checks. Just be careful and smart about it. The app also tends to freeze or stop a lot. Not sure if it's just my phone or the app.
Selling a lot of golf clubs my dad had collected. It was a profitable hobby of his. He passed away and KSL Classifieds has been a very great tool to do this. Plus I've met some great people in the process.
I think the site is a good tool, just disappointed with all the dealers that use it for their sales tool. I feel it should be just for personal sales.
I'm always using ksl classifieds for selling my unwanted or no longer needed items and I have a successful outcome every time. I don't use any other medium to sell my items bcuz ksl classifieds always gets the job done for me.

Used to use all the time and it would work great, now it's always having errors pop up and won't list my ads. It's been like this for weeks and it seems nothing is being done about it.

Over the years I have installed and removed this app a dozen times, I always run into something that is worse than using the browser. This time its been smooth, except one major problem. When I am viewing a listing and change apps, once that app has been dormant for a while, when I open it again, the listing I had pulled up is gone. I am brought back to the first opening page. Not a problem with Chrome, so its being uninstalled again!
I like the way everything is organized. Texting is much easier than emailing. I've sold several items over the years and it seems like it has a wide audience. I will continue to list things. I have had a little trouble with pictures at times- not able to set main picture- my secondary ones keep popping up. Or I have viewed the ad before listing, and it would show pictures, but later when I checked it, there would be no pictures. Not sure if it is the site or my phone signal.
It's a good app, functionally it's great except one thing. When you're browsing a classified and you switch apps and come back to the KSL app it restarts the ENITRE THING! So you lose your place, you've got to enter in all the search entries again, which is extremely annoying. Other than that it's great. I would rate 5 stars otherwise.
I've used KSL Classifieds for over a decade now and it's been such an awesome way to buy and sell items locally. Compared to other sites or apps, it's easily number one for how easy it is to maneuver the app and post new listings in just a few short minutes. It's the best for searching locally and even the surrounding states. I'm speaking from personal experience. Thank you KSL Classifieds for having such an easy & FREE way to buy and sell almost anything right from the comfort of my own couch!!
Use KSL quite often, however people used to be able to send me a listings link in a text and I would be able to pull up the listing. Now I click on the link and it opens the app but it won't take me to the listing anymore. Using a Samsung S8, I don't think my phone is too old for it to work, tried to see different settings and there is nothing I can adjust, any help would be great. 5 stars if it weren't for this issue.
This app is basically unusable. I love KSL classifieds, but the app constantly has errors pop up when looking at an item, and often multiple errors on a single page which need to be clicked on individually to dismiss. Searches often fail to load more than a few items. I want to love the app, but it's an awful buggy mess right now. Motorola G7 Power user.
Update: Latest update is even worse! Now each saved search is in a huge box requiring extra scrolling to run. New app designer is clearly trying to change things for the sake of change, not because it's better! Requires more than 4 clicks and scrolling not just to run one saved search and three to just get to a classified section. So bad! New update is cluttered and completely unnecessary. Takes extra time to load, extra menu to get to saved searches. Deeply regret updating.
My past review would have been a 5. With the last update in August, this app has become cumbersome and difficult to navigate. You have to hunt for the category list and the subcategories within that list. I would have given it a lower rating, but they have fixed the scammer spam that had become rampant. Stop trying to make this app fancy and take it back to the basics that made it so popular and successful in the first place. It used to be simple and to the point. One click and done.
Used to be a fantastic app, however, it won't stay logged in anymore. Drives me crazy to have to log in everytime I want to use my saved searches. This wasn't a problem in the past, not sure what got broken, but it keeps slipping through the bug fixes, and stays broken. 5 star app before. Hopefully they can get it there again.
Since the most recent update I have been unable to edit any of my listings, it also doesn't show how many views your listing have anymore and if you edit them on a PC the changes you make do not reflect on the app. Instead just showing what you originally posted. Absolutely trash. You're better off just using you browser then this app.
Probably the worst mobile app I've ever used (20+ years developing software). Even small changes to your ad can unexpectedly delete all your pictures and you have to start over. How about paragraph spacing? What you draft on the full website version gets tossed in the mobile app view making it look like a run on sentence.
