KSWEB: server + PHP + MySQL

Same issue everyone else appeared to have - on first install I was told the trial version had expired. So I paid my £3.69 for the pro version, and now it works perfectly. No drama, easy to setup, intuitive layout. UPDATE - 14/09/2020: Having some problems with the server. While editing a site locally, the page keeps failing to load. I then have to open the app, stop and then restart the services in order to get my page to load. I'm having to do this every 10-15 mins and it's doing my nut in

It is amazing what this server can do. It's the best I've ever used. It has all the essential features I'm looking for. I was just hoping that port routing can be enabled without phone rooting. I'm starting to love this app. There's no better one out there I've seen. You can create Database, Use Htaccess, get error logs. It even has inbuilt editor. It is the perfect example of what a php server should be. Please work on the port routing as I don't want to root my phone and I seriously need it.

I am really new to all this server stuff. Installed this app on a very old phone from LG (Android 4.1.2 so old I don't even know the model) got a new domain for 1 year and that's it. A simple page is running online (well you do have to add an .htaccess file to the folder, add a port forwarding, but that's it). I will probably buy a PRO version just to play with this app on an S20+ to see what else can be done. I am 35 and am as excited as 30 years ago on the day I found my dad bought us a NES.

Total battery hog. The app is great but there is no easy way to stop it running in the background. Disabling it in the app doesnt work. It still has a background process running even if none of the servers are running and this, for some reason, uses battery. I have no idea what its even doing in the background but the only way to stop this is to force quit rhe app from android settings. Give me a way to easily stop the main service from running and this is a five star app.

apache_get_version() PHP function is not working. Dragging and dropping files into the editor also doesn't work. Pressing tab on a keyboard in the editor also doesn't apply a tab. Nothing happens when I press the tab key on a keyboard.

I wish there was an option to rate this app negative stars, because I would give it -5 stars. I cannot believe a developer would offer a free expired trial and believe users would just pay for the app! If you want to charge for your services, then at the very least, put a price in the Play store instead of labeling it as a in-app purchase. DO NOT DOWNLOAD! IT IS A SCAM!!!!!

Works perfectly! Very nice job! Easy, simple, practical and functional! Now I have a "free" dedicated server for my website :3 I can't understand why this app hasn't 5 stars, I'm running on a moto G2 without problems! Could have sensor indicators from the cell phone on the web dashboard, such as temperature indicator, CPU and ram? And also log access? It would be very useful :3 And another thing: my WordPress takes 2 seconds to respond, it's cell phone limitation or maybe some setting?

I really don't understand the bad reviews about this app. I bought it over a year ago, (11 Nov 19) and I have VERY few problems. When I do have a problem, I get a reply very quickly. I had an issue with the license today and support replied to me in less than an hour and explained the situation. It's now fixed and working again.

I like the app, and I'm pleased so far, I've also bought the pro version. but now the website isn't showing properly (WordPress) on the remote device, it's only working fine on the local device.

For the moment is a no-go. I do not seem to be able to understand how to host ksweb on my sdcard. . Denis is not responding for a few days.... Android closes access to sdcard for third-party application. Therefore, to solve the problem you need to do the following. Create folder on sd card: /sdcard/Android/data/ru.kslabs.ksweb/your_folder/... After that, put your web content to this folder and make this folder the root directory of the active host in KSWEB. Denis, Would you have an example with pictures ? I don't see to be able to host anything on the SD card, although trying. It seems it takes configuration from somewhere else, or coming back to the initial configuration. Until the problem is solved.....1 star.

Amazing piece of tech, should be part of Android it seems that essential to me now. Perfect for sharing files between diverse devices, and for developing and demonstrating your projects.

Everything works fine, except the ftp server. Every time I connect it says an error occurred while opening that folder. Make sure that you have permissions. Any help on this?

Excellent. I installed KSWEB on a cheap media player, it's running smoothly. I even installed monstruous Moodle 3.9.4 without any issue and everything works. The only glitch I noticed is that the app window does not display local IP address if connected via Ethernet (0.0.0.0 instead).

This app makes my Xperia z1 run at maximum processor load and the processor usage symbol and % does not show on the main screen. On my other phone the app does show processor usage, which is much lower than 100%.

A must have for home based web development. A year and half ago when I bought this app, it was just an okay app and reinstalling was difficult and it used to use a serial key but now it's so easy... just uninstall and delete associated files and reinstall. That being said I wish to have an updated phpmyadmin 5.0.4 and MYSQL 8+ as of today and also "utf8mb4_0900_ai_ci" as the default collation if possible, devs please look into it. Everything else is very good.

I've sent an Email requesting a refund I paid for the full version but even the full version has no features the host in website is not opening even with a simple html website folder, So consider issue a refund as I've uninstalled the App and not using it anymore.

I was seeking for such a fantastic app for along time. It is a perfect android alternative to xampp for windows. Now I have install WordPress in my phone and it works very well. Infact working in phone is much more convenient than working on my pc.

This web server is amazing! It is easy to use and provides full features of a web server for only 4 dollars! You'll get 3 different web servers to use, along with an easy to use config editor. It has both PHP and Mysql, and provides one-click installation for things like PHPMyAdmin! This web server is great, and I highly recommend it. It works flawlessly on my Galaxy S10 (SM-G973U) with Android 10/OneUI 2 Beta.

This app was amizing and helpful for Web and Server. Before I paid this App, I used Cracked Version to test because your Trail Period is not enough to test for me. after using all feature I paid becuse this app more helpful from other web server app and clear and easy ui.

Works well (when run connected to the net -> before starting KsWeb). As a newbie, it's not clear how to get a secure https connection.

unable to run in my android pie. I am trying for so long to make it run in my phone. it seems app is just froze in foreground without displaying anything. please help me asap. only app i paid for is not working.

It is amazing. exept its editor. keybord of editor is very long and it is better if the characters insert in 2 or 3 lines instead of 1 long line . and it dosent has character $

I`m running an HTML/PHP app that works with any Android browser, but I need it work, and save input data locally without Internet access. I'm testing it using a Huawei phone and it works perfectly through KSWEB localhost, but although the KSWEB app appears to keep running, the PHP server stops every time the phone goes into standby. As a consequence the KSWEB app has to be restarted continually. Is there some way of preventing the PHP server from stopping?

though i have used the trial version, it seems it would be a complete package. they need to improve their editor but server level stuff is very nice.

One of Easiest and Simplest Php servers for android. Just Install, and run, no more hassle of installing extra Apps for sql, apache etc.. Runs best, the best part is u can run a complete LAMP on an android mobile thats even without Rooting.. Just go for it, worth of Each and every penny you spend.. Didn't know about support, bcoz i didnt needed one, everything is simple..Fyi am just an amateur developer

This was a great 5 star app up until about a week ago. Now, the purchase fails on startup so you can't use it and if you buy a new serial key, it just refuses to accept it. Waste of money now. AVOID!!!

Need Intro Setup. I purchased a domain for $8/year. If your app work correctly and easy setup, $5 for your app is a good deal. However, your app currently not auto load index file in apache server, user like me doesn't need PHP, MySQL,.... just need Apache. Lol,... looking your app in future. BTW, watch an app to activate server in 18 hours is better for new user.
