KTRE 9 First Alert Weather

I absolutely LOVE this local weather app. Especially love the videos with the familiar faces and it's really funny but the commercials bring back memories from growing up around Tyler Lufkin area when this channel was pretty much all we could get. Keep up the great work KTRE and KLTV

Overall, this is not cluttered and it's easy to find what you're looking for. The biggest caveat is being forced to watch the same ad over and over between 30 second forecasts, whereas other syndicated news/weather station apps have static ads with no sound that are non-invasive. I completely understand marketing and sponsorship but it becomes more than a hassle when you spend more time watching the ad than you spend watching the forecast. It's almost more convenient to use a less invasive app.

I depend pretty heavily on the app. Having a satellite system, we loose signal when we need it most.

Love this app. The up-to-date radar shows me when bad weather is around and I can also see where earthquakes are happening.

This app keeps my family informed of severe weather alerts. Very helpful. Also can plan ahead for a wonderful day of fishing!!!

Has been the best weather app for Lufkin TX, but has stopped working since yesterday's tornado watch. Freezes on home screen when opening. Cannot get to hourly or any other screen. Removing cache & uninstall/install did not fix. Please fix. 3/18/2021 UPDATE Now working great again. Thank You!

This has been a great app to have. Very informative and always reliant.

I am really glad I installed this app. It has been very helpful and easy to use.

App is good, it does have bugs on s9 map loading issues. If you delete the cache and data all the time it loads lighting fast.

Slow to download at times. Sometimes it doesn't download at all. I can view weather and radar updates faster on other weather apps.

ALWAYS wrong! They say rain but you might as well expect shine. They say shine and it will rain all day. The hour to hour does not match the radar. Weather changes but don't update me on fb but not update the app..

Dont give good or fast information since as warnings of where tornados like storm radar. Storm radar is the best. They use to give thunder calls or calls of warning but dont no more...2 stars is being nice...

Really like this app when it works. Sometimes it'll mess up and won't open it. So have to uninstall it and then reinstall it.

I often miss the news, so having this weather app ( and the news app ) really helps me keep up with pertinent news.

I have uses app for years I have never had a problem with it

Weather is not the same as what other weather apps say. Theirs seems to be more accurate

I always depend on this app for all me local weather reports.. dependable and accurate... No matter where I am....

Long ads. False weather. They say to expect rain. Not a single drop all day or clouds.

Has a few glitches & bugs, but works for the most part.

They, the meteorologists are very informative and very nice.

Whether or not that we have power, we always have access to the weather. This can be real life saver during severe weather conditions.
