Love the app but don't like Fox News preempting for other news broadcasting in other states like they did last weeksending us to Florida to watch it's governor sign a bill that has nothing do with our local news in California.

Smh. I got This app to watch h on mY tv.TV.. can not even watch from phone to tv.TV.. so nope.. Uninstaller and block from emails.

I love KTVU and the app is alright (I still miss the old weather platform from like forever ago but whatever). In the last few weeks the damn app sends out SO many notifications and repeat notifications that I am turning that setting off. The reason for 3 stars is because it seems as though there are zero options other than to turn notifications on or completely off. There should be options to receive maybe only emergent/breaking news, sports, whatever, not 50 notifications every 30 seconds.

I wish this app had the ability to cast to chromecast devices and such.

I've had this app for years. Yet when I tried to do the latest update it would download but not install. My phone is new. I got it in April. My phone software is up to date. I've tried to uninstall and reinstall, rebooted my phone but it doesn't work. Even took it to Verizon and tried to download on WiFi. Nothing works and nothing is wrong with my phone.

I've been using the app for a few years, and it's as if they have an intern writing (or transcribing) all the articles when they get into work at 9am every morning. I get up and read the news earlier than that and it's literally the exact same articles as the night before when I go to sleep. Articles are full of typos, grammatical errors, and assumption based opinions. I had hoped over the years ktvu would put more money into developing the app but it hasn't changed. Disappointed. Uninstalling.

The pop up adds are a CONSTANT destraction! What's the point of trying to read a news story if you keep getting full screen adds popping up every 30 seconds? Thanks for allowing me to give you some honest feedback. I use to enjoy this app. Kind of bummed I have to leave it.

Content is great. I switched to the app as my indoor antenna no longer able to retrive signal from ch# 2. 2 less star only for the app. Live feed has this blacken overlay with pause button and seek bar that do not go away. Its kind of annoying. Also, you should have chromecast/ roku integration.

Only thing it needs is an option to cast to your TV

The adds and adds and more ads. You miss alot of info cause not only are there the normal comercial breaks but you have to watch one every time you first turn it on. Then you have the apps commercial break wich plays over the live feed. Ive watch ten min with 9 min of advertising many times. Im sick of it. Boycott app till they fix.

I went to the settings and set it up to receive pretty much breaking news only. Instead I get several alerts throughout the day trying to get me to tune in to the news for stories that are far from "breaking." Uninstalling.

I recieve notifications of udated news when i click on it the app does not update until later. So i am unable to click and get more information until later. I minus will just watch the news somewhere else for faster experience.

I was hoping to get more current news than the older news on channel 7 but I seem to get three-day-old news on channel 2 also. They may add one or two new things at the top of the list each DAY, but then everything else is OLD news. Also, weather is only for SF, not SAN JOSE area!

Works great and informational but the one thing that gets me is all of the spelling errors. I know most media sources in today's modern era are getting lax as everything is done online, but seriously? What happened to professionalism? Most stories are not that long. Reporters I'd assume still have someone double check what they wrote before submitting.

My only complaint is that I can't set my weather forecast for Emeryville, other than that it's fine

Great app keep you updated on the news. very clean & easy to ready. Other apps are way to busy with ads that cut right in while you are reading.

Mainly use to stream but it intermittently works. Sometimes the stream loads something that's about 5-10min late and then plays for 5sec and then closes the streaming portion. Needs fixing please.

Great app for local news and I love that you can stream the newscast on your phone, but it would be amazing if they included the ability to cast it on a Chromecast.

Update broke App. Whenever I click on an article to read, it tries to take me to Facebook for a different article, then gets caught in an endless cycle of trying to take me back to Facebook when I click the back button.

Sometimes it goes off unexpectedly, otherwise it's fine.

Easy to use anytime of day . Good for a truncated controls clear transmission of local news that matters. Good on traffic on point for snarls, and alturntive routes and detours.

Not working with android 10 on pixel 3xl. All news stories on main page just show as bright pink boxes. If you click the box you can read the underlying article but its annoying.

I don't like that the notifications can't be silenced via app settings. I turned off notifications & have to go into the app to get breaking news instead. 🙄

I love the convenience of the app, but lately it's been going straight to videos instead of showing the written story. Annoying!

Used app for years and the only local news source I loved. But latest update useless not loading on the latest S21 + phone. What's wrong and fix it.

App runs for approximately ten minutes then drops. Very frustrating. I have the ABC 7 news app also and it has no problems.
