My wifi signal says good or even excellent. However when I try to look at the camera it says "Loading" or "No connection". Most of the time it doesn't even record especially at night when I really need it.

I love Kuna! I'm always notified of activity and the videos are remarkably clear. There's several options to choose from to personalize it for yourself.

Freezes after a while, looks like there is no activity on the camera. Routinely getting "no connection" or camera offline when another device can connect. App seems to get a minor update every 6 months or so but the last news & update app shows w major updates is 2018 for Google Assistant compatibility. I've uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail. Starting to wonder about Kuna's future.

There appears to be a design flaw with the lights as they dont last very long. I bought a security light and a companion light and had to replace both just outside the warranty period. the company arranged for me to purchase a second set at a reduced cost. Since then, the companion light's bluetooth connection wont reset leaving the lights out of sync. Would not recommend this product.

The cameras are great and provide good pictures and sound... when I can get the app to work. It's ok if I look at the page that has both of my camera views, but if I click into live, it goes loads, stays good for a second, then goes black. I know it's the app because the camera is showing fine in the other view. I was hoping the app just needed an update but the update didn't change anything. Disappointed that I can't see and hear a live view.

Purchased 2 cams and was about to purchase 2 more when I updated and paid over $122.00 for a year subscription. Only to have the system not function as well as it did before with the free trial!! Not happy at all!! And to add to the problem I have the highest speed internet there is and the delay is ridiculous! By the time it notifies me someone is at my door, they are gone!! Very poor service!!!

4 yrs when I first bought the camera this app worked great. Never subscribed to the service but while traveling on the other side of the world I could watch my front door. Lately, since all kinds of 'behind the scenes' upgrading within the app has been done, I am experiencing freezing and blackout views on my screen. Audio works great can't see anything. Reached out to the service. They suggested things to try to remedy the situation but to no avail.

The Maximus is useful when it works. I've had this floodlight camera for a few months now & my biggest complaint is that it doesn't do a good job of detecting people in the range I've selected. I've adjusted the sensitivity but even at the highest level it still doesn't consistently detect people in my assigned zones. Which is the entire point of having the camera. It's a fantastic floodlight.

After 6 mos. everything goes down hill. The camera worked great in the beginning. Now it works pretty much when it wants to "literally." You could be standing right in front of the camera, and this has in fact happened with someone at my door, and the camera NEVER picked up. Most times the video lags really bad then freezes and stops. The video screen goes black. I tried EVERYTHING rebooting, reinstalling, replacement. I even invested in a signal booster and same problem. Please update your app

Nice when it works. A lot of times when opening the app the camera will display "No Network Connection" even though the camera has a signal. You have to force close the app a few times to get it to load the feed when it does that. That's for both the camera listing thumbnail and when going into the camera to see the live feed. The camera also doesn't pick up everything. Several times I've had a delivery and the camera didn't pick it up even though they came within 5 feet of it...

I used to love Kuna and would've given it 5 stars in the past, but within the last year, it has gone down. I constantly have trouble connecting to the live view, even while I'm in the house. The devices lose connectivity on a regular basis. On more than one occasion, someone has come to my front door and I was never alerted and there is no video. The hardware struggles to keep up with newer wifi, like mesh networks. Needs some work to be great again.

Probably one of the worst security apps on the market. Constantly drops connection, notifications come in maybe once ever 30 visits, the free version of the app is completely worthless as it only gives 2h play back. It's a 200$ digital peep hole. And before someone blames my internet, I'm running a wyzecam v2 on the same network and have never had a single issue. If you're looking at buying this gargabe, check out wyzecam and ring first. Also doesn't integrate with anything with no plans to.

was working okay until a few recent updates (mid july). as others have said in last reviews, the live feed now streams audio but with a black screen (no video). It also appears to lag behind stuttering almost with the audio playback. I have called and emailed support numerous times, they assisted me with troubleshooting however they are unable to resolve the issue. Vu Point is requesting that I send back to camera however I need to provide proof of purchase. This a software firmware update issue!

software could be 100% better. I own the Maximus security light. I have one on my front porch and on my driveway in the form of the flood light version. because this system doesn't allow different detection tones, you end up getting hundreds of false-negative detections daily. even with the motion detection set to 17%, the flood light detects Cloud movement, Shadows, Reflections off the cars parked in the driveway. this software is flawed. even with a subscription, flawed.

Love Kuna! The only reason I did not give it 5 stars, is that it records shadows from my palm trees waving in the wind. However, I have found ZERO wireless systems that can tell the difference between shadows and people. I think only infrared cams do this. The AWESOME feature is the constant record, so what the app saves for viewing is approx 10 secs before the "activity" is detected, thru the 1 minute limit, ensuring you get the approach and not miss anything. Yes, I use the AI detection.

Purchased three units from Kuna Nov 2018. One lantern with a camera, one companion lantern and one flood lamp. With in 2 weeks the lantern camera had an issue with the speaker, the chime would almost have a rippling sound effect to it. Two weeks of phone calls and emails including a video I up loaded for the tech support they agreed to replace the 2 week old lantern. Took 6 months for the replacement to arrive being they were back ordered. For the last year I have had some issues with the cameras going off line. Got used to it. I also had up graded to the AI premium version of the app. Don't waist your money. The AI settings never seem to set the motion detectors off no matter how they were set up. I just left it turned off. Only benefit was the amount of down loads allowed. One week after the warranty had expired the flood lamp has now crapped out. The WiFi part of the flood lamp is shot. A closer look there was moisture in the sensor so I'm sure that's what did it in. Great idea but the software and lamps need tweaking!

After 1 week I am ready to throw this out! How frustrating....the install is a breeze and both camera and light paired perfectly. BUT as soon as I try to view the live feed I get a few seconds and the black screen. I have been in contact with Kuna support and reset, reinstalled, delete app, delete camera, reinstalled it all over and the same thing happens everytime...seconds of view, black screen. Support hasn't been able to help. Great signal,designated channel, 2.4 mhz. Any solutions for me?

The app is not easy to use and lacks obvious features, such as an easy way to snooze notifications across all devices, very annoying when you are doing yard work that constantly triggers motion alerts. Full set of features requires a monthly fee, but its questionable how much will improve by paying. Its also very slow to get video feed and sound is poor with 3 second delays despite good wifi reception.

I have two of the light fixtures and I've had them for 6 months already and I haven't had any problems at all. I really like that they are connected directly to electricity without having to worry about changing batteries. I also like how it also has the intercom. Wide view camera and good picture quality. Maybe those having problems have WIFI issues.
