I installed this app after we had an earthquake, which was shortly after the shutdown in the Spring due to Covid. The app was great at first, it'll send you notices of breaking news & if you click the "watch now" option, you could actually watch newscasts. Like I said, the app was good at first...anymore, if you select the "watch now" option, you get sent to the live stream, but have to watch 2 to 5 (or more) ads first...& the live stream has usually finished by the time the ads are done.

When it works it's great! More often than not though when I click on a notification it does not take me to the story that I tapped on. It will take me to another news story I looked at hours earlier, or to the live news which isn't even playing.

I rather use the option of no ads of 1weather app, than use this local news app for weather or even news that I watch on tv with ads. I get enough ads on the television, to be way too annoyed to get them on the app too. If there were a pay for no ads option of this app, then I would probably take it. There isn't, so I won't use this app.

Waste of time!! You can't pause,skip back/forward if you miss something. I'll stick with the FOX13 app, at least they allow all of the previously stated.

Works fine. No problems yet. Good all-round local news app, also offering weather, sports, entertainment, national and world news; and the opportunity to "Chime In" with information.

I've been watching and reading stories, and increasingly I notice the news passed without research from CBS that contain blatantly false information. In this thing, the president is right. There is so much made up news because of agendas that I no longer trust even little news stations like kutv, who are prone to mislead the public as much as any national news outlet. It's lazy, disgusting, and I expect better of local sources. So, I'm going to dump kutv news now, and it makes me sad.

TOTALLY USELESS APP!!! To use this app one MUST hold the tablet in the portrait (vertical) position. It is unweildy and annoying to be forced to use in this manner.

nonstop "breaking news" notifications. basic info with little or no information with your "breaking news" I downloaded this app hoping for actual news stories not constant notifications with no story (the story comes 5 notifications later) download the channel 4 or 5 apps they dont bombard you with "breaking news" with no story

Brand new phone. All my other apps work fine. Download this app, and it won't go past the loading screen. Pretty embarrassing, channel 2

Never loads new stories. Won't even load the app at times. It can go for days even after clearing cache and data.

I like every thing about channel 2 news app accept having to type in zip code to find the weather

You allow indecent ads to be in your app. This is ridiculous.... I just want the news not indecent exposure

ive always emjoyed the great personalities and celebrities of channel 2 news from Michelle King to Heidi Hatch and Ron Bird all of whom i have personally met and are just the very best in the biz.

The ads are ridiculous and repetitive . They are so loud that you have to constantly turn them down.

When you get an alert you can view the alert but not the rest of the news.

Very nice feel and easy to find the news I want to see.

Stories sometimes stay for days and updates unpredictable.

WHERE'S THE SEARCH OPTION??? Watching the live feed via TV, heard mention of a story of interest about a new app, but no name of the app and not enough useful info to do my own search.

Really like the layout of this app!

The lead image on each story is huge until I scroll down to the story. Sort of creepy.
