KWCH 12

It helps me keep up to date with the weather and any other news I might want to keep up with. I also enjoy visiting the Channel 12 booth at are KS. STATE FAIR every year when we have it. Do to COVID-19 WE DIDN'T GET TO HAVE THE STATE FAIR 😕 😒 😪 AND IT KINDA SAD. I would like to Thank 😊 everyone who works soo hard at the sation getting the News Weather and Sports. And anything else I might of missed. Thanks so mush for everything you do and go out of your way to help your Veiwers.

This app version is decidedly slower and very annoying in use. Previous version was far superior. Very disappointing. When swiping to the next story, there's now an aggravating delay while it loads while you watch an arrow chasing itself in a circle. Please go back to the previous version.

Some stories don't link anywhere in the app. Search is not helpful and it is hard to find specific stories. Some stories listed multiple times. Weather notifications not helpful. Can't see all of headline in notification. Disappointing.

8/4/2020 CONGRATULATIONS! YOU TOOK AN APP THAT BARELY WORKED AND MADE IT AN APP THAT DOESN'T WORK AT ALL!!! NO NEWS FEED. NO NOTHING. WICHITA'S MOST WATCHED NEWS HAS AN APP YOU CAN'T WATCH. MAJOR FAIL!!! Mediocre app at best. Barely works on older Android OS. Works better on Android OS 10. Font adjustment should be a slider like the best designed apps use. Not SMALL, NORMAL, LARGE as the only choices. I like KWCH. I just think they have the resources to hire better app developers.

It is difficult to maintain contact with the station. The always on storm team 12 is so small as to be almost unviewable and cannot be expanded. These are not hardware issues since I do not experience the same problems with the KAKE app.

No matter what I do, the videos auto play when I don't want them to. (The setting is turned off in my phone and on Facebook) KSN has a setting in their app to turn that off, is there one in KWCH?? I can't find it.

I've had to uninstall this app because every time I want to read a news article that I received a notification for, I'm forced to watch the same 30 second ad for Cox cable. It's really annoying!! Bye bye!

A news station with ads popping up? Stories that are not proofread before posting? overall a huge disappointment. New review 1 1/2 years later. Still very bad app. Journalist still do NOT proofread. New update crashes everytime you try to go back to home screen. Would give it 0 stars if available. KAKE news app is far superior and they do same stories.

The ads keep getting more control then the news. I used to use your app to keep in touch for stuff going on in the Wichita area now that I moved away. Now your ads get more use then the app. Ditch the ads and give us the news.

too many times won't open, or will flash one ad after another. the writer of the news does not proof read. News that is not relevant to this area. same news for 2 to 3 weeks with an occasional update. currently will not load ncaa men's basketball scores.

Everytime I hit a story that pops up as breaking news it always just takes me to the home page and then you have nothing about the breaking news. Police have heavy presence at Kellogg. I hit the story and there is nothing about it. This happens on almost every breaking news story you have. So I have turned off all channel 12 ability to give that click bait.

I like it but have to uninstall about every 2 months and reinstall it, locks up and just spins. Weekend news is not really updated. Other then that, it's pretty good.

Getting old having my alert go off multiple times in less than 1 minute for the exact same story. Its not even a story that has been updated. Fix your alert system soon or I will be deleting this garbage!

This used to be a great app with weather. Now most stories are a day old and not many of them compared to other news networks in the area. The weather used to give a readable daily forcast for the state but now all you have is daily forcast pictures.

when they tease a story to you and you go to their app you can never find the story they were talking about. it just gives you a bunch of old stuff or more weather. I already have the weather app so uninstalling this useless app that is always littering my phone with headlines I cannot follow up on

This app used to be good. Now, too many ads, extremely slow, takes so long to load I just give up ! Don't waste your time. Use another local stations app.

Notification announces breaking news or headline but I can never find it on the app. I have to go to my KAKE news app to get the story. Your app also contains many click bait links. You can do better than that, KWCH.

This app is a joke. When you get a news notification and click to see it, you are greeted with a full page ad that you have to close to see the news story. When will advertisers learn that people will go out of their way NOT to buy something from an advertiser that annoys them with their ads.

The ads get in the way of the news. Too many ads. Wanting to see the news but i have to wait for 30sec for an ad. Most of the time after the ad i dont see the news that was posted.

It used to be good until I open the app and see a political ad for a candidate that I wouldn't vote for if they were the only one running. Please lose the political ad or I will uninstall my app and find another TV station for a news source!

It is slow to load up. In inclement spring and summer weather and one hears the sirens sound, it takes too long to open the app to look at live radar

I have attempted to submit a photo to KWCH Channel 12 weather and all I get it's an endless stream of ads things about the Kansas City Chiefs and no way to submit a weather photo and no information on how to do so. This app used to be fine I was able to send in photos that were on TV. But now I can't submit anything it says submit your photo it even says upload your photo but when you try it goes to bunch of ads for the Kansas City Chiefs and no where can you submit a weather photo

Watch them regularly., their news is weak on issues. They have the best weather team around. Their sports is terrible and too long. Spend entirely to much times.replaying and games of the local teams..

KWCH was always the TV station I went to first when I had cable service. This app takes forever to load and sometimes I just give up and go to the competitors

Slow, full of adds, wish I could use the original weather radar. I am looking for an alternative.

Keeps stopping and doesn't give me time to click on report before it on disappears. Tried again on 10/31/2018 and still shuts down within a few seconds

I can't get the live newscasts to load ever. Always buffering! All I seem to get are old file stories. I'm deleting the app.

The App is fine...its the seemingly, inability for the KWCH Newsroom to proofread or spellcheck their stories. Age of technology...the computer will do it for you. Frankly, laziness! C'mon News Director...Do your job...earn your salary. Require Excellence!
