kWS - Android Web Server

I used this to access local html files from the browser which is no longer allowed in Android 10. It worked well but unfortunately I had issues with audio as kWS doesn't support byte range requests (as it is only http 1.0). Shame, as otherwise it was perfect, so have uninstalled and now using a different server)

I wish non technical people would not give reviews on software. This works fine with port forwarding. You just need to open the ports in your router. You can also use page kite for forwarding to the web. Works a treat.

Works very well for hosting .onion over orbot, however requires constant restarting on 8.1. Have disabled optimization and placed on unmonitored list, problem persists. Please fix for 5 stars.

It keeps stopping when opening a browser. It's good for nothing unless server is different from client so that stays on top always

As the layout of the app is so simple. It's very convenient to use it to transform files from android phones to kindle😋

Simply works! Where (2) other solutions refused connection from another android device over android hotspot, this worked out perfectly. Web development just became possible on both my old Tab and phone.

A little bit hard to setup but does it's purpose for me, running a local host site from my phone. Allowing me to share my mobile files to my computer.

Does not connect outside the router network, even after enabling port forwarding on port 8080.

Works fine and its simple to use, but it doesn't support php or backend

Does not mention in the description it is a demo and cut down version. For all features you need to by the pro. Maybe may not do what I need, and I can not find out unless I get the pro version...

Works 100% of the time. I use it to host an intranet server.

Works without hiccups. Would love an updated interface. Love that it supports version 3 and up
