KXII Weather Authority App

App is painfully slow and times out if installed on SIM. Moving the main storage makes it functional. Has FAR TOO MANY MEANINGLESS NOTIFICATIONS. Tried turning off all but important notifications and still got notices about weather "next week". Finally just disabled all notifications.

App used to be okay and now is pretty terrible to use. Frustrating, doesn't load, and on a day like today when every where else is saying be prepared there are possibilities of severe storms and tornadoes the app just says flood warning. They upload a bunch of videos with no sound. And then on kxii Facebook live they tell us to come to this app that has no information.

I had a previous version of this app and it worked fine. WAY too many ads though. Had to uninstall it recently when I kept getting unasked for station alerts ALL DAY LONG. Extremely irritating!!! Tried re-installing and now it will not open. Give us an AD FREE pay-for version. Will not play videos. Recently had my location thousands of miles away from where I live. Fix this stupid thing!

This app is awful ! It will say the towns in the North Texas area but when you go on it their is a North Dakota Station. No current news on weekends . Now it has changed a d their is no news by time at all. Example 6am or noon or 6pm. I am so disappointed.

No means No! If I turn off all notifications except for emergency alerts and severe weather notifications, then that's all I should get. I do not want a notification that does nothing but state the time or a notification that tells me to enjoy the next three days worth of nice weather. Layout is a bit awkward. You really have to fumble around to get the info your looming for.

I'm trying to conduct business and "A new station alert has arrived!" because in two days there might be a storm. There's no way to turn off unimportant notifications vs actual important ones.They ramble on every few hours so you click the notification and watch the ad. I had a tornado warning pop up and was genuinely freaked out and open the "authority" app and had to watch a minute long ad to see if my family was in danger.app needs ability to disable non important alerts and no ads when danger

The video links don't always work and lead me to a blank page in the app.

I like it more than any other...but the radar doesn't show the future. But they have my location dot about 20 miles from my town.

Frustrating I cannot hear the weather forecasts but ads before forecast starts loud and clear. I can't always catch the news so I kind of depend on weather apps. I'm done with this app. Fix so we can hear ALL the forcasts being posted and I might reinstall.

I would give this app 5 stars but it keeps relocating my map to Sherman, Texas although I am in Madill, Oklahoma and using the "Follow me" option with my location on. I switch back to Madill every 5 minutes and it take a bit to buffer during this time. How am I supposed to keep up with alerts for my location like this??? Please try to fix the issue so the app can run smoother.

Slowest app I have on my phone. The app might run good on ios. But is terrible on android. Takes at least 3 mins just to get it to open. And forget about trying to watch a video. You dont even have enough time on break to check the weather. If you need local weather, google's weather app is so much better and lightning fast.

"a new station alert" is not a helpful message, especially when heard several times a day, whether a severe storm warning or just a regular update of sunny day forecast. I limited the alerts, but still get them for everything.

Love this app. As accurate as it can be, provides vocal alerts, videos of impending weather and much more. I'll never go back to another weather app.

Stopped working.Tried to reinstall but it now says "Incompatible with your device". It worked on my Galaxy 5 for months. Then just quit working. Too bad. I liked the real time radar.

I love this station. Love their weather reports.

KXII has been my go to station for weather updates for the past 30 years. I know I can open the app and find out the current weather and future weather with no problems. Thanks, KXII weather app, for keeping me well informed of this crazy Southern Oklahoma Weather!!!!

I'd skip this ap. A tornado warning video will have a 20 second ad before you can view it. Download myradar. Its better. No ads when you are trying to live

Everything is good with this app. , it keeps you informed of all weather details , and road trips , the map shows you actually were the rain , and storms are at.

Can't stand the constant Facebook messenger ads to download the app and don't like the ads constantly trying to get me to download the Facebook app. I don't ever want to use social media. Praise the The Lord have a blessed day.

This application is great 😊 fast on giving information. They do keep you informed of any changes to your daily weather, news. One of the best news you can ever have.

Didn't like the fact that the app talks about alerts. Scared me really bad in the middle of the night. Couldn't get current radar, would only get future cast or 10 minute old radar.

Enjoy the app and updates i receive. Like the hour by hour temperature estimates. It just seams to take a long time to load videos sometimes.

The weather is never updated and never accurate. I'll be watching KXII and the weather predictions are always different from the app. Why have a weather app if nobody is updating the information?

Love the app. Keeps me informed about the weather.
