KYMCO Noodoe

Noodoe is a connected scooter experience that puts you, the rider, at the center of everything. The KYMCO Noodoe app helps you make your connected KYMCO experience thoughtful, personal and social.

Noodoe is thoughtful. As you approach your KYMCO, your phone automatically connects to the scooter. When you turn on the ignition, you are greeted with your favorite photo. Noodoe reminds you of the weather forecast, so you know that it's not going to rain. While riding, the world's first road-centric navigation for two-wheel transportation guides you to your destination. When the gas runs low, the smart compass helpfully shows you nearby gas stations. At a stoplight, Noodoe presents you with missed calls, breaking news, new messages, and friends’ social updates, all without you having to pull out the phone. When you park, Noodoe automatically memorizes the location. From the moment you approach the scooter, until the end of each journey, every moment is inspirational and fun.

Noodoe is personal. It helps you celebrate self-expression because no two persons in the world are the same. You have different likes, different needs, and crave for new ways to express yourself. Because of this, Noodoe is a real-time cloud service that gives you choices. Noodoe cloud lets you browse different dashboard designs, download the ones you like to your personal collection, and install them onto your scooter. Beyond a great rider experience, Noodoe makes your scooter the only one of its kind.

Noodoe is social. With a bit of inspiration, you can become a Noodoe dashboard designer and publish your designs to the Noodoe cloud. Noodoe is a full-fledged social network where you can share your creations, follow others, and be followed. The result: endless one-of-a-kind creations, representing the ultimate form of self-expression. It's no longer just about moving from A to B, but a rewarding experience of self-expression, creativity, sharing, belonging, and social interactions.

Key functions for staying connected and informed:
• Navigation – Let the world's first road-centric navigation optimized for two wheel transportation guide you to your destination.
• Time – Select your preferred clock designs from the Noodoe cloud, you can also design your own clock.
• Weather –Noodoe displays current weather conditions and provides the weather forecast for you. You can select preferred weather dashboard designs from the Noodoe cloud or design your own weather dashboard.

• Groups - Show the relative locations of your riding crew members on the dashboard as you tour around town.
• Gallery – Choose your favorite image from your phone to greet you on the dashboard as you start up your Kymco scooter.
• Notification – Noodoe displays important notifications from your smart phone when the scooter is stopped. Notifications include Facebook, Line, WhatsApp, missed calls, etc.

• Journey Diary – Create and share diaries of your most awesome riding adventures. You can also explore epic journeys of other Noodoe riders.

We recommend using Noodoe on a smartphone rather than a tablet for optimal experience.

Problem with screen brightness. When navigating at night the brightness is way too low, so I don't see any GPS indications in the screen and it's dangerous. I already tried to force the app to "day" mode and set brightness to max, but it goes back to too low when navigating. How can I fix this? It's a real problem as I miss turns because I don't arrive to see them on the screen. Thank you

It is not user friendly, navi does not allow you to choose routes or if does it is hard to access. for comparison, google maps and waze is the better choice for navigation because they have more address directory on my country. Honestly I will still choose to navigate with third party programs rather than Noodoe. But I do hope they improve the navigation part of this app

Latest update July 2021: Doesn't actually change navigation once started. It just shows the first street and doesn't update. I actually really like this app and Kymcos approach. Yes, it's not perfect, but it works quite well. The only issue I have is that Bluetooth disconnects after a few hours and I have to manually pair it again. Also, the navigation app should have the current speed limit for the road your on, not just warnings. Overall very happy as navigation on a scooter is awesome!

I had to use another phone to get registration to work. Now I can't figure out how to navigate without making a new "journey", and once I make a journey, I can only edit the existing one and not make a new one. Extremely confusing. The directions are really cool, but they stop working after a few minutes even though I have the app recognized as a smart device. Just an extremely hard to use app with connectivity issues.

Very limited navigation app, why not allow interfacing to google maps or Waze. Why must you reinvent the wheel ? It is too costly to replace well established navigation apps. Focus your app on improving the experience with the great vehicle. I love the scooter, would be even better if it had waze or google maps intergration on the dash board. Andoid auto would make it super better, I would be happy to pay extra for android auto integration.

Once I figured it out I love it. Have a 2020 Kymco Like ABS Noodoe version The Noodoe navigation is pretty basic. I prefer using my Google navigation since it has audio directions which I use with a Bluetooth helmet. I like getting my text messages and news updates right on my dashboard. Very convienent as is the weather. I also love having 6 family photos on my screen. Great job Kymco. Much better than the Vespa app.

Not having Google Maps integrated is the dumbest thing I've ever seen in this day and age. I have a Kmyco Like 150i (with a digital dashboard), and not only has the bike had squeaky brakes from day 1, but this software has been rubbish. The navigation disconnects every 15 mins, and does not take the best route - EVER. This is what happens when a company just wants to try make extra $$$ by selling maps on their own software. Now I just use a physical cell holder on my bike and Google Maps.

Only marginally useful app. Noodoe puts ME in the center of everything? Don't treat me as a fool.  Where is the navigation options to avoid highways? Where is the option to prefer curved routes? Where can I plan longer trips with intermediate destinations? Where is voice output to my bluetooth helmet? All in all noodoe does NOT live up to its promises. The only useful feature to me is to find my scooter.

Always broken app. Works like 2 out of 10. That's on a lucky day. But when it works, its oook. Above meh rating. Navigation is ok. But could be better. Stick to putting a phone mount on your motorcycle and using other apps. You won't be needing the other gimmicks on noodoe other than the alternative speedo, time and base face

Useless app for me. Bought xciting s400 just to have onboard navigation and the map for Malta in Europe is still not ready. Get your act together and respect your customers! Plenty of bugs in software like notifications do not show when i stop in traffic. Although I have enabled them from the app. Also some app settings are defaulted when i close the app completely. Also another issue is the frequent disconnection between mobile and scooter. i need to switch off Bluetooth and switch on again.

Basically i bought Like 150i noodoe because of noodoe. Great idea, great concept! Helps you journalize your trips and your you can share your artistry in it. But nodoe failed to make my travel convenient and it usually takes me about 30 minutes to set my journeys! Got a suggestion, just have an interface that would link our phones to the scooter. Google and Waze can get through the road, spotify and soundcloud to keep us company and for meters, you can still have the digital displays.

The app has some severe and dangerous bugs.. 1.Connection with the phone gets disrupted whendriving and using the navigation feature. The driving assistance freezes and the route is lost continouesly.Change the UI like"Here" or "Google Maps."(or add navigation through Google Maps) 2. Bt connection between phone and bike is luggish...For example,if you have your phone in your pocket, connection gets lost 3.Add the option of time-clock to the custom soeedometer screens 4.Add call answering option

Needs more improvement. The navigation works perfectly and accurate though. I would like to know how to view my Trip Logs with a more detailed view, not just the little google map display that I can't even see clearly. Also, please update the Google Maps with the latest information from Google about local stores, place names, and establishments so that users can easily search for a specific place in the Noodoe map. And lastly, I hope you make a way to use other map software like Waze.

I'm happy with the Moto, but the app is a huge fail. Every time I set the GPS it just doesn't follow my movement, so the option to connect tour phone proven to be useless. Why not simply mirroring Gmaps from the phone instead of creating an app that doesn't work.

Worked fine for 4 months on my Kymco Like 150i, then the scooter stopped reconnecting to my phone automatically. I constantly have redo the bluetooth pairing if scooter is left idle for more than an hour. It's not my phone because bluetooth connects automatically with my car, headset, external keyboard, JBL speaker and other devices without issue. Tried clearing all app data, uninstall/reinstall, re-paired. I'm running Android 10 on a Samsung Galaxy S9+. No instructions on how to master reset the Noodoe software on the scooter, no way to clear out the pairing data on the scooter itself, No firmware updates for the scooter since August 2019. Also cannot search by POI name in the navigation app which is annoying.

It is a good move towards more advanced HUDs for bikes. However there are some things that make it feel like its not there yet. 1) When searching through different creations, you see speedometers created for other motorbikes (ex I am using an Agility 300 and I see speedometers for AK550). This causes a problem because the mileage display (for analog skins), is based on the original which does not match mine. For example in the middle of the range I have 80 km/h, while many skins have 100 or other. This causes the speed to display (on skin) with wrong values, which makes it pretty much useles. There should be some kind of filtering, on which skins are compatible with what models. 2) Most importantly (this is a device issue and should be fixed with a firmware upgrade or something). If I do not connect the scooter with my phone for a day or more, the clock gets out of sync and it displays the wrong time. For example after a day of not riding the scooter and then turning it on without having my phone on me, the clock is off by 12 minutes, displaying 12:04 while it should be displaying 12:16 As soon as I connect the phone the time gets immediately corrected. This kind of drift is unacceptable for a clock. You cannot actually rely on it with having the smartphone always connected. The issue exists on all Noodoe version of motorcycles from what I have been seen in different social media group discussions with other owners

I have an ak550 and once I paired my phone with the scooter the centre display only puts up the speedometer. I cant get navigation even though I downloaded my country's maps. I have read the user manual and there is no help there. The scooter is amazing. The app is disappointing.

Navigation doesn't work. Was the sole reason I bought this scooter new over a vespa. Please fix this - just let waze or google maps project onto the screen. Very easy fix. Shocking new experience for a customer.

Gps keeps Freezing after 10secs of riding total waste of time... However the Noodoe app team got back to me ASAP. And gave me instructions on how to solve this matter. Since then all systems are go. Amazing job Noodoe 5 star product. Does exactly as advertised. Totally love this app.

I like the app. One thing that this should do is update all the map. Street name and establishments are no longer existing and in use. GPS and noodoe map is getting confuse with new open roads and street often suggests a re-routing. I am using Philippines map. Any way to contribute on an update for this one? This should be open source like Google map

The app works fine for me, but it keeps draining battery in the background while I've turn on Bluetooth, and it does make a big problem for me, please try to fix it.

A useless and frustrating app. Map Interface needs alot of work. Not worth it! It came with my 2021 Kymco Xciting. I am not happy with the app.

Sco. A. May 16, 2022

I bought a new Kymco Agility 300i today and have yet to take delivery. So I registered a Noodoe account after using Google play to download App. Problem after reading everthing in the App and answering all questions/ preference NO App is on my phone for easy access. What gives? Do I have to pair with my new scooter before App icon appears on phone? Or do I have to go thru Google Play each time to load the App with my new PW? Very frustrated user....

Bor. V. Oct 29, 2021

Awful app, full of bugs. I looked literally everywhere and I don't know how to find map shop. Also very stupid idea to charge for extra maps when I'm paying 6500 euro for a scooter. Even when I want to buy the map because otherwise I can't use all of my scooter options, i cant find it anywhere. Kymco please update your app, you are ruining your scooters

Arj. S. Jul 26, 2020

please just buy google map or waze or just let them in the screen if you cant be as useful as them on the road. my navigation FEEEZES during ride. this app just makes riding so difficult. very bad idea. please dont brag about "future design" if you cant even compete with the market NOW. 😒

Haz. t. a. l. Nov 30, 2019

The navigation not very accurate.there are times where address did not reach or locate unlike Google maps it self when we input it gives a list..the interface probably need better view of the navigation..

cho. Jan 25, 2020

Happy with the technology, but hopefully we could improve the navigation updates. Google maps or screen mirror of google maps would be a better upgrade.
