LA County Library

Until spring 2019 I used this app all the time and it worked great. Then after an update, it only showed my digital holds and check-outs, not my hard copy ones (e.g., paperback books, DVDs). So I couldn't renew items via the app or check due dates, I'd have to open the library website instead (the app is supposed to circumvent the need to use the website!). Then when I reinstalled the app I couldn't log in -- it didn't recognize my user credentials even though they were correct. Grrrr. :(

Horrible app, painfully slow. I was hoping this would make renewing books easier, you would think that would be simple enough but this app manages to make it harder and more time consuming than simply driving to the library. Trust me, you will spend less time getting in your car and driving to the library to renew than you would do trying to renew using this app, even in LA rush hour traffic.

Excellent upgrade over the old app. I love the design and features such as viewing the items you have checked out. Left one star off, because I'd like the ability to pay fines inside the app itself.

This is great so you don't have to carry around your library card anymore since the app stores your number and barcode. For those saying they can't log in, you might have the wrong card. LAPL is a completely different library system from LA COUNTY and so your card info won't work.

I couldn't even log into the app. Tried inputting the pin and the only letter it would pick up at all is "e".

This is such an amazing app!!!! It's so helpful and so quick and easy! It also has your library card barcode, so now I don't have to bring my card with me whenever I go to the library:)

Was great but then it stopped working. Can't log in. Says it doesn't recognize my credentials.

I really like it. except when I have tried to renew abunch stuff at once or even 3 things at a time

You must have a library card with the LA county library for this app. LA County Library and the Los Angeles Public Library are two different systems. This app is great for anyone who is a member with the LA county library. LA county library is the best.

When i try to sign up it keep saying dont remember my creditenals.
