LA Wallet

Chase Bank and some other places will not accept LA Wallet as a valid ID even though it is required by law. Also the Smart Health Card needs to be verifiable by IATA for international travel. It works if you live in California or New York but not in Louisiana. That needs to be fixed. It would also be nice if the Smart Health Card could be imported into the EU Digital Covid Certificate.

LA Wallet was great prior to renewing to my drivers license. Since then it won't upload my vaccination card. I've sent numerous emails to try to correct the issue and they tell me, "it should be fixed now" and it still won't upload. All of my information is the same. Same name, address, etc. Nothing has changed. Both DL and vax card were there prior to renewal. Please help!

I cannot get my vaccinations and booster to show up on LA Wallet. I even got a printout from Super One Pharmacy which shows that I have had all three. In a futile attempt to get LA Wallet to work, I uninstalled it. Just great (sarcasm) because I cannot even get to my driver's license at this point!!! I am tired of trying.....

LA Wallet is very convenient to have. I had a bit of trouble getting it to work, but once I did it has worked fine. I got my Covid booster and it was added by the next day. I was very surprised my booster was added so quickly without me doing anything. Good job Louisiana. Glad to have LA Wallet!

Charges a $23 "convenience" fee if you update your license through them. The maximum legal amount that can be charged... It's $3 to do it and pay by card on the states expresslane website.

Best idea ever! I can't wait to see how this app evolves and I hope they will include our car registration as well as insurance card link up. I will save a lot of time during a really stressful time, such as in the case of an accident. Hopefully the state of Louisiana sets the standard for this benefit AND it goes nationwide with use in each state, as well as interstate use.

What happened? When I first got the app it was great, even had a health feature that showed my covid vaccine. However, when I renewed my driver's license my covid vaccine card is no longer optional. What happened?

I lost my license 20 days after purchase and had to replace it. This caused the one I purchased to be invalidated. However, Kyle with LA Wallet worked with me and made sure I was able to load up the new ID without being charged again. Thanks Kyle for reaching out and providing above and beyond customer service. The digital wallet is easily one of the best purchases I have made. This gesture of goodwill makes it even more worth it!

Hey there! When you create an account, if you navigate away from the app by switching to another app or using split screen, the account creation process is reset. It makes it really inconvenient to check the activation code sent through email. Thanks!

Fast developer response to issues.! Contact form on website doesn't work. Issues.... Android. December 22 uodate killed biometric prompt on Pixel 3a android 11. I've toggled it in the settings but the biometric prompt still doesn't show. Also on the page where the ID is shown, there are three buttons on the right, the last button is halfway obscured. It's been that way for a very long time. I've email you about before but I never get a response.

Will not allow creation of new account. Silly "Oops" message appears. Called customer support and they told me to "umm delete and reinstall" which I have already done. Support says "umm its a connection issue and to continue trying and call back later". I have already tried many times. My phone works just fine for all other apps and can stream HD video so apparently the issue is not with connection but with the app.

I think this is a great app, it is very useful!! Due to alot of people go places and forget their license but have they phone. It will also help identify the fake covid card holders that are out here. I believe the state should take the LA Wallet only when checking for Covid vaccinations. Also, when creating an account, scan the barcode on back of license. It has to be your most recent license. (It will be quicker) You will not have any issues trying to complete your account with a current ID

Just a wonderful app !. With being able to have my license on my phone, & Covid record. Might forget those, but will never forget my phone !

It keeps telling me that my account has been dismissed. I cannot log back into the app. It tell me that my login is expired.

LA Wallet app was very easy to install, create account, add LA Drivers License ID, and Louisiana Department of Health SMART Health Card. It was super simple to have the app scan the back of my ID and auto-populate the form. I only had to do a very minor change in the form. To have your Covid-19 vaccination record display, you must add your ID. Once you do, it was just two clicks for LA Wallet to connect to LDH and display my records. The records are encrypted and display as a QR code that can only be read by registered accounts. The best thing about this app is that the display of the app is free, for now. I hope that it stays that way!

La wallet app is not showing my third covid booster shot I check with the place where I got the booster shot they said they loaded it in I followed all La wallet instructions and it will not come up

I was never able to install the information needed. It just kept telling me an error had occurred. Useless. When I called the number others have been given on this site, I would get a message, put on hold, then it would disconnect. The did contact me by email, told me to check my wifi connection and get back to them if it didn't work. It didn't, I did, and they never contacted me again.

Had to purchase my driver's license at OMV ($36) after I purchased on the app ($55) due to inaccurate address. Upon contacting the app support I'm told "no refund allowed". WTH is that!? But y'all posted my DL I got from OMV Shady and sheistery total rip off.

Now you can forget about the wallet. The most important document in your wallet now is in your phone. Easy to use. Stable and never fails.

Update sucks! I am now unable to login. When I try to recover my password, an error message appears, stating that my email is already linked. I then tried to create a new account, and the same error message appeared. ONE TIME, I was able to surpass the error message, and the option to "add a license" was unsuccessful bc again, my email is already linked. I logged out, and back in, still no luck!

I love this app. I have all my Id's at the touch of a fingertip and Covid19 Vaccinations to show when needed. Folks you need to get this App.

Just noticed the addition of the option to import your vaccination status from the Dept of Health (for those of us who aren't into conspiracy theories... 🙄) ••• When I discovered LA Wallet, it cost $7, and I happily paid for the convenience. Now that it is free, I share it with everyone; If your debit/credit cards are stored in your phone, you might as well have your license with them. In the 2+ years I've been using this app, I haven't had any issues with it.

After some issues, I got it to work. Help via email responded within 12 hrs. Just a few tips- scan the barcode on the back. If it adds a comma between middle name, remove it. scanning works best with the flashlight on. the initial "what do i do???" is why i gave it 4 not 5 starz. i have yet to actually use it .

This app works great once the License has been added. I am noticing that the scan feature does not work, not just with me, but with other people I know who have this app. The scan feature was not a big deal because I could just manually add it, but that is the only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars.

Part #3... Two days ago I wrote to "LA Wallet" support/build team. Praise must be showered where due. I have never in my nearly 40 years of computing gotten this level of EXCELLENT service! FINGERPRINT WORKING!!! Very good App. It is easy to use and, so far so good. One issue and Not with the App but who is accepting it... it's a new rollout so it takes time. Part #2... after an update I can no longer use my FINGERPRINT to open App! This should be resolved. FORCED to use PIN. PLEASE One Love

Love the concept. Innovative and useful. It has already come in handy for me a couple of times since its release, but it shows the potential for more. I would love to see updates to include more licensing such as Conceal Carry Permits, Hunter Safety cards, etc.

meh. looks cool but crashes as soon as I scan fingerprint in. I'm sure there's an easy way to fix it but this seems like we're fixing a problem that didn't really exist to start with. cool idea. poor execution and no real need.

Well, it is an interesting concept, but in practice isn't very useful, because nobody will accept it. I didn't have my physicap driver's license present, and went to rent a vehicle, and the rental company wouldn't take it. Most bars deny service when trying to use it. Haven't had to use it for a traffic stop, thankfully, but I imagine that wouldn't go over well either.

love the idea of the app but it is useless until everywhere gets onboard with accepting this as valid i.d. Everyplace that I have tried so far has never seen it and does not recognize it in place of a physical i.d. I lost my license on a friday night and needed something to get me through the weekend but having the app was no help. Glad I got it while it was still free so I can just wait until using it becomes more widespread.

I am having issues looking at my license. When I click/ tap on the license tab I get sent back to the pin page. I can tap on the COVID tab and see everything fine. I have deleted the app and reinstalled, I have also deleted my license and reinstalled that too, but it didn't help.
