Lagu Top J-Rocks

J-Rocks is a band from Jakarta which was established on November 9, 2003 with personnel Iman Taufik Rachman (vocals and guitar), Sony Ismail Robayani (guitar), Swara Wimayoga (bass), and Anton Rudi Kelces (drums). The band's flow is Japanese pop / rock, pop, rock, and alternative rock.

Initially the band was named J-Rockstars. The addition of the letter "J" in front of the word Rockstar is the reason J can mean Japanese (because they play Japanese pop / rock music), Jakarta because they come from Jakarta, and 'Honest' is to play music that they really like. The name J-Rockstars was eventually abbreviated as J-Rocks, and the name J-Rockstars became a term for J-Rocks fans (commonly abbreviated as JRS). Since 2008, J-Rocks began to wear batik costumes with modern designs but still with Harajuku-style make-up, and promote batik to young people.

History of J-Rocks
Early Career
Beginning in 2004, J-Rocks won the 2004 Nescafe Get Started music festival sponsored by Nescafe, Trans TV, and Aquarius Musikindo. Each personnel won the best vocalist, best guitarist, best bassist, and best drummer. They succeeded in winning the festival and had the opportunity to make a compilation album Nescafe Get Started which is the beginning of their collaboration with Aquarius Musikindo. They finally succeeded in launching their debut album titled "Topeng Sahabat" with the Aquarius label in mid-2005 and filling two songs on the Dealova OST album namely "All-Wrong" and "Into The Silent".

The band has become more popular since the advent of Spirit's second album, J-Rocks played various beats and genres such as Rock'n Roll (Juwita Hati), Waltz / Victorian (Regreted), Symphonic Metal (I Must Be), blues, classics, and so forth.

In the song titled "You're Stealing Again" they collaborated with female guitarist, Prisa Rianzi and on the song "Juwita Hati" they made a video clip in Japan which was produced by Hedy Suryawan. Shalvynne Chang, Sato & Boppy acted as fans who chased their idols to Japan. No half-hearted, several regions in Japan including Shibuya & Harajuku used as a video clip location. An interesting concept makes this video clip popular in Indonesia.

Records at Abbey Road's Legendary Studio
J-Rocks made history as the first Indonesian band to record in the legendary studio Abbey Road, in England. The process of recording and mixing their latest songs was carried out for five days from 12 to 16 October 2008. At the Abbey Road studio they were handled by Chris Bolster, a well-known sound engineer who also had experience as a sound engineer on the album Live - Coldplay, Placebo - John Lennon & Paul Mc Cartney, and the Love-The Beatles album.

The recording process for the three J-Rocks songs only takes two days. On the 3rd day, Christ did the final mixing process for the songs. While waiting, J-Rocks made a video clip for the song Falling in Love and took a photo on the legendary zebra cross Abbey Road wearing batik they had prepared from Jakarta. The result was that J-Rocks released their 3rd album, a mini album titled "Road to Abbey", with a cover of J-Rocks pictured across the Beatles zebra crossing. Contains 4 songs and 1 instrumental.

This valuable opportunity was obtained by J-Rocks because it won the "A Mild Live Soundrenaline 2008" which was held in 5 cities (Pekanbaru, Medan, Batam, Malang, Yogyakarta) from July to August 2008. J-Rocks was chosen as the best band in the event because it is able to appear in accordance with the theme "Free Your Voice" and managed to bring the topic "Save Our Music and Culture". The recording at Abbey Road Studios is expected to be an international gateway.
