Laguna Beach Parking

Terrible app. Took a week and dozens of attempts before account was set up. Then for each zone it only shows the % availability of parking, not where the spaces are. Worst of all, if you click on the "Directions" icon which you might expect would tell you how to get to available parking, it opens an Uber app!!!! Don't waste your time!

I parked and paid with my card for 6 hours of parking. Downloaded the app and took down the meter number to add more time later if I decided to stay longer. Tried to do so... and it was complicated af. Cool app/idea but it needs some improvement in ease of access. I also didn't have my license plate number either at the time which made it difficult as well.

Did not work. The app said my space did not exist. I was standing right in front of the meter with that space clearly marked on it.

The first time I paid for parking through the App, the payment went through but the App said that it failed. Fortunately I got a confirmation email before trying again. The App didn't show that parking session at all. The following time I purchased an hour (1h 0m), and I got only 52 minutes. That was funny.

An embarrassment to the City of Laguna Beach, but a great instructional model for software project managers on how to automate fantastic ideas into failures. SCAM ALERT: the app offers no means or information to contact anyone for technical issues or to contest payments. Get a parking ticket, and you're COMPLETELY screwed. The app offers you no receipt, no log or proof whatsoever that you paid for a specific amount of time at a specific parking spot.

I installed this app to pay for parking in Laguna Beach. All was good until today when I was charged for parking even though I am tens of miles away from Laguna Beach. There is no way to contact support so, I had to block my card with my bank. Very good I linked to this app a card where I never have more than $10-$15. So, beware of this app as it seems to be a scam. I will report this to Google so they can remove this app from here and nobody else should be harmed anymore.

Yep. Complete garbage. Can't add a credit/debit card. No purpose. First card - app said both it was declined and successfully added. Couldn't pay for a meter. Second card said succcessful, then 'no card on file' when actually trying to pay. Waste of 20minutes of multiple attempts.

wow, this is unbelievably bad, horrible UX, no instructions and the worst part is the part thilat is supposed to show parking doesnt work at all, even after putting in a credit card. Why would the dashboard of the actual app contain links to install the app? What was the procxess and due dilligence the city of Laguna Beach went through to choose this pile of garbage? Maybe one of the council members kids developed it?

Accepted payment but did not update meter. Ended up paying directly into the meter. I know it's the apps issue since we tried both on Android and iOS and the service just ate the money. I also validated it was the correct spot so it's not user error.

Frustrating, doesn't even show an option to input your meter number to pay

Literally useless. I feel bad for whoever paid to have this app made, not worth it at all. Please have better developers make it a functioning app

The app used to allow payment (just as stated on the parking meters), and now it only provides information on whether parking is available.

This app is awful! I've tried entering my cc info several times and the screen just goes black. I have a full signal so that's not the reason and I'm using a Samsung Note Ultra 20 so it's not the phone. Please do better!!! This is ridiculous!!

It looks like a beginner programmer's homework from 1996. It's 2019! We have self driving cars on the roads and still people manage to release such awful apps.

Very user unfriendly. You spend 20 minutes putting info into app and you can't even find the info? Lot? License? Hourly rate? Wt heck? What's next? Social security and health insurance info.... very lame and useless.

The UI is awful, it takes way too long to set up an account, and worst of all they charge a service fee, so you're better off paying the meter directly.

I spent my time to install the app, pass the registration + login and enter parking info to see the processing fee in the last step. Deleted the app and paid by parking meter with no additional fees.

Tried to add my credit card for 10 times... it doesn't work! Just took 10 times for 10 cents. Finally I couldn't pay for my parking online and paid via terminal.

Terrible app. Rips you off and steals money out of your account. Also charges you to close account. Should not be on play store. Does not work with the parking meter so you end up double paying to have the meter flash green for non violation.

a lot of issues. according to the help section, you have to prepay at least $20 into your account before you can use the app. And if you close your account they charge you $25 "administrative fee".

It would take way too long to describe everything with this app. IT IS SO BUGGY. I can't believe it even made it into the app store. It's like they hired a high school freshman to make this. God forbid they expect an elderly person to use this. I'd rather get a ticket or have any of my orifices stuffed with a scalding hot metal forking rod than try use this app again.

This App is a rip off!!! I would give it zero stars if I could. I paid for 30 min and it counted down from 20 min!!!! DO NOT USE THIS APP. STAY AWAY!!! I should have read the reviews. 🤦‍♀️

All I can say is it's simply horrible, can't get anywhere with it. If you're visiting Laguna Beach bring your roll of quarters you'll save yourself lots of time and a headache!

The app doesn't work. Keeps asking for a credit card then goes back and asks you to enter it again. Waste of time, now I'm trying to delete my account from the site.

Crappy app. Intrusive on personal details and doesn't work. After fiddling with it for 20 min I had to walk back to my car to pay at the meter.
