The Lake County Sheriff’s Office mobile application is an interactive app developed to help improve communication with area residents. The Lake County County Sheriff App allows residents to connect with the Lake County Sheriff’s Office by reporting crimes, submitting tips, and other interactive features, as well as providing the community the latest public safety news and information.

The app is another public outreach effort developed by the Lake County County Sheriff’s Office to improve communication with county residents and visitors.

This app is not intended to be used to report emergency situations. Please call 911 in an emergency.

It appears that the folks at the Sheriff's offices have abandoned this means of communication with the public. I had tried it twice over the past couple years and it's never current, by many months.

Sex offenders is one of the selections we can click. I live in The Villages. Clicked on Sex Offenders. The results showed just one in Lake Worth and one in Tallahassee. Everyone knows that's not accurate. So, I have to wonder about the rest of the stats this app will produce.

Thousands of sex predators, but, you need to click on each one to see where they live. That should take a few days. Also, site wants access to your files and more, pretty non discreet if you want to leave an anonymous tip. Every time you sign on, they ask for access.

Cannot figure out how to see the most recent arrests like the old app.

great app sumter county has one but it rarely gets updated. was waiting for lake countys to come out. wish it told ya what they were arrested for so you can see who the common theifs are or the druggies.
