As it stands right now, this is the only free Cardboard vr game that I keep coming back to, and don't just uninstall right after playing it for the first time. Almost every aspect of this game is well polished, and, unlike many other titles, it actually looks good. The world's are also detailed, and fun to fly around in. Kudos to the developers for putting this much time/effort into a free game.
First off, this is a well polished VR experience and an excellent showcase for what VR can be. The controls are great and the concept of flying around collecting things while avoiding others is great. As a game, however, it needs some improvement. Other than VR, the game couldn't hook me. It lacks the spark/hook of game design to make it addicting. It's not bad, just not great.
The firefly immediately pulls all the way to the right and then gets stuck behind a rock of some sort. Moving the head set has no effect, and so I can't do anything.
Played the tutorial just fine and from the looks of that it looks to be a really great game. Problem is in order for me to start the game or select any icons i need to take my phone out of the vr headset and press on my phone. I have the Bobo Z4 headset that comes with a touch button just like google cardboards magnet but the app does not respond to this button. Once this issue is fixed ill give it more stars. Using a Note 4 phone. Edit works fine now.
Game needs a way to proceed without buttons though. My goggles don't map to my HTC 10 so I have to open it up to hit buttons to proceed but other than that, a real winner!! Add gaze input and BOOM, best VR game on android!!
One of the better vr games or there, but it lacks the special something to make it addictive. I would also like a sensitivity adjustment as it hurts my neck and head whipping around so much.
Fun but constantly drifts to the right so I can't play it sitting down. Within 30 seconds it has drifted so far right im cranked all the way sideways just to keep him center and I physically cant rotate my body further. If i sit the way I started the game im flying into the left wall.
This one one of the games I was most excited to try using my Daydream View, but it doesn't show up in my available applications.
Love it, no a lot of good free VR out there, and the touch to select isn't bad, my VR has a button on it that functions the same as touching on the screen so no issue there... Love the game, keep up the good work(:
Was an awesome VR game but now it crashes when the game starts. It did not do this until the last update was released, now unplayable. I'm using a Galaxy Note 4. Will give 5 stars when this issue is corrected
I couldn't get past the Tutorial. It took me to the screen with the Start icon, but nothing happened. Great graphics, though.
That theater is so awesome, please add the ability to watch your own movies in it! I would watch an ad before hand if needed also. Great game too, but that theater is really awesome wasted on ads only :(
Please fix the force close in menu ..not able to start the game
I like the idea of this game and can't wait to get my controller so I can click. Like other said glare would be cool but my controller will be here soon so ill wait :/ love it.
I loved the 1st. Lamper. I'm sure I'll come to love this one even more. Only played a few minutes and I'm very impressed. Can't use the theatre though. Phone just beeps and game restarts. No drifting what so ever when playing game. Very stable. Samsung S4
Absolutely love the concept and game! Very well done dev team :) Only reason it's not 5 stars is I have to select any and all options/buttons by touch instead of staring the green pointer at the object for several seconds. Makes it a bit awkward undoing my headset to make the selection every time and then play the game (ie. Selecting Start, Tutorial, etc.). Samsung Galaxy S5 - Android 6.0.1 --- Cheers!
Fun game, but I can't seem to fire at enemies like it says you can after collecting the right item, 5 stars if the controls would work.
I think the hook this game needs is powerups like speed boosts and lighting explosions
I would keep it but not cuz theres spiders i don't like spiders pls remove them then i will install ot again and keep it
I think something is broken. When I have to start over and turn towards the "start over" it turns green and does nothing ,making me take my phone out to hit the button and putting my phone back in the VR case
Really good but like alot of people are saying, I want gaze controls a lot of other headsets don't have magnet buttons
The pacing of the game and the path the character is required to take combined together to make me nauseous.
But I can't seem to find the tutorial. After I die, and I die alot, how do I continue with out having to open the goggles and touch the screen? I spend more time doing that than I do playing. Argh.
Sort out the gaze control problem that you've been aware of since users mentioned in August.
Actually deserves 5 star. Please add game controller support too. It cause neck pain
Best games I've played in cardboard VR. Totally immersive. Nice graphics, no frame rate issues, smooth gameplay. A must play for every VR owner.
Cardboard tap is not working. Every time need to remove the phone and press start in the screen
I start the game and it shows black screen with "Cardboard settings" gear on bottom. If I press the grar cardbord settings start. But when i return in app the screen remains black (with settings gear). Please fix this bug.
Could be great but if you don't have a button you'll be frustrated with the fact that you'll have to take your phone out to start it everytime, with not much time to put it back in. Either let us look at the start to activate it or allow us to use a bluetooth controller please
gaze based controls should be enabled right away like other games. only then can it be a truly wonderful experience. Gazing at an option long enough or nodding while looking at an option should enable it. Hate opening it again and again to select things manually. You guys deserve 5 stars. Please address this issue. That bring said.. this is the best VR game I've ever played
