It's pretty solid. Though a bit glitchy. Also for some reason. Picking a "Golden yellow" turnes your lights baby vomit green. Red comes off as yellow.... It's pretty clear the color wheel isn't aligned to lights. So getting consistent results is a terrible trial and error challenge.
Top notch. LIFX should hire this fellow and dump their current staff. Their app is useless in comparison. The nfc write tags are a nice touch I will be try that out right away. So cool. I don't usually do reviews but I wasn't able to donate or buy a premium version. Thank you!
Abandoned app. Confusing and unintuitive. Why are there seemingly redundant/overlapping brightness settings?
Best app for alarms. Crashes a lot, though, but once set up, it's good.
wish there was an easier way to change the times and transition times for all the colours at once
The app is abandoned by the developer. I submitted a pull request to their open source repository to fix some issues and they never reviewed the pull request.
The app just stopped working i dont know why, ive tried everything, any help!
This app is a disgusting disgrace to this world and it is TRASHY. Gives my phone glitches and it's annoying and hard to use 😨
Junk doesn't detect wifi bulbs

I have been experiencing an issue with the app since I purchased my Google Pixel last month. With Android Nougat, I can toggle the display size to either a small or large setting. I prefer using a small size DPI for my phone. All my apps currently work with the configuration except for Lampshade. I do appreciate the fact that you communicated to us previously about the bug fixes on the last update so I am hopeful that there will an update soon to fix this issue.
This app works perfectly, and does what it needs to do quickly and easily - turn on/off hue lights, group lights, change colors/moods. This is a 5 star app, but the only thing that forces me to give it 4 stars is b/c the widget doesn't currently work properly.
Solid UI, easy to use. Unfortunately the app completely drains the battery on my Nexus 5X when smoothly cycling colors (might only happen while away from home).
Combining this app with the Hue app is fantastic. Lampshade allows super easy and intelligent adjustment for independent bulbs and groups which then can simply be saved as new scenes in the Hue app.
This is derelict garbage. This heap of unworthy dung throws ads at you. Plus, those ads have sound. Plus, those ads play when your device is sleeping. You already paid for overpriced bulbs. It's immoral to spew ads at you.
Was great until it stopped working. hoping for a fix soon. Will definitely rate again once that's fixed.
The ability to make looping scenes is my favorite feature. The fact that it's free, no in app purchases or advertisements is a huge plus too.
Like it. But no way to stop it from changing colors. Have to turn them off then on again.
Really liked the ability to be able to change a group of bulbs colors simultaneously on the fly, compared to creating a scene with a single color for every bulb with the official app.
Great app. Got it so I could make my hue lights loop through the color spectrum. Has a ton of other settings/options as well.
How do I cancel a light alarm I set for 6am weekdays. I have cleared cache and data removed and re installed the app can't stop it coming on. Now when I go away my lights will be on all day. It's really annoying.
The widget is brilliant and the ux is vastly superior to the official app. The lights without this app are average but with it they're amazing!
Fantastic app with Tasker integrations cross-platform lighting controls with animations, allows for bulb multiple group memberships too. No, I wish I didn't have to set everything up on every new device that requires light control. I *highly* recommend this app!!
Works great, I use it instead of Hues app. Great default scenes too.
This app would be amazing if it didn't have so many bugs! It's been over a year since it's been updated! Please update!
Does not backup your configurations resulting in lengthy reconfiguration every phone upgrade or device restore.

I use it for a multicolour sunset routine, which I can set off from a Tasker shortcut. Thanks to whichever really cool dude fixed bridge registration!!
Two taps to turn lights on and off. Changing colour considerably more convoluted and slow. Doesn't accept when another device takes control and resets colours in the background
Suprisingly fantastic. If you want to set a very specific mood, (and have the time to learn how to set it up), it's extremely handy! Perfect for Dungeons and Dragons nights, romantic moods, and parties. 💜🎈💜 Best free hue color changing app on the market for androids.
