Without a doubt the best language game I have played. Some other games have similar ideas, but this one allows difficulty settings for all levels of learning, from beginner to a level even a native Spanish speaker would struggle with. But the hands down greatest feature is the grading system, where you can see what yours you are weak and strong at. It's a shame there are not other languages available.
It is very fun to play and is good as a language leaning tool. It has battle style flash cards that keep you engaged, speech practice, and reading tools. I really like that they put all of this into a fun game to play. I especially like that they added books in partial and full spanish to read, as I feel that is an important component a lot of resources lack. There are in app purchases but it seems most things you can get for free eventually, which I very much appreciate. It is a great app.
I love the game. I am learning more with the interaction. I do have a problem though. Si is yes, not if. I hope that basic can be fixed. Otherwise I love it so far and just discovered the books. Very challenging. Thank you for the quick response. Shows how much I still have to learn.. ❤️
Love it. I was thinking about learning a new language but I was put off as it's easier to learn at a younger age. Learning while having fun is my preferred way to learn anything. Feels like I should be paying something to be honest but maybe that will come after I am accepted into the institution 😁
I don't ever leave reviews. Like ever. But this game is very fun and the grammar is perfect! I wish there was game just like this for every language, maybe a Japanese one, but something that should be added is cosmetics to animals and different game modes, other than that keep up the great work
The transition between grades can be quite merciless. Especially with grammar, I'm relying on outside sources at the moment to help me understand, and having to pull out old school,paper-and-pen, study methods. It's not a game at this point, it's work, I don't feel a slow and steady increase in confidence, it's just all or nothing.
Loving it so far. It is a great study aid. It has stories to read, multiple choice quiz battles, online play and different characters to unlock.
Now that I've been playing a few months, I really love this game! I'm building a larger vocabulary and have been able to practice concepts that I have a difficult time with while having fun. The developer is very responsive when issues are noted. There are great new features and vocabulary added periodically. Highly recommend!
Motivating at first until you realize it's just another manipulating, greasy gotcha system: full of bots; arbitrary detection of correct verbal input, depensing on potion consumption; and impossible-to-reach goals--the impossibility accusation quickly objected to with inaccurate advice by the likely outsourced dialogue of some of the bot accounts.) Also many times it will use two different tenses for each language. So the english might be praterite (debatably subjunctive) and the spanish will r
The game is great... however when you reach level 4 and you play online, since your probably a beginner your at a severe disadvantage. The game is great otherwise.
I think it is the best game to learn Spanish. If you want to learn a different language then you should try Duolingo. Otherwise just do this game to learn Spanish. Quite fun. Try It!! If you don't like it uninstall it. Just saying you don't have to uninstall it. But... JUST GET IT ALREADY!
great game i learned more here than on Duolingo so far. it's a lot more enjoyable, but there's a lot of pop ups in game asking you to purchase things. other than that it's a wonderful game.
it's a great app to learn and brush up on Spanish. I'm enjoying it so far and the variety of learning experiences and levels of difficulty
definitely good for learning the basics, still going through it. the game aspect helps to get through the repetition
this language game is outrageously fun no matter what your fluency level is. I love playing with my friends. I wish there was more engagement and thst I could learn sny language this way lol it's that good. The developer constantly checks in for improvement and I love the animales. TagalogLandia where u at 😭💙💙
This is a very good app and the only reason I did not give 5 stars is because I already love the app but I just wish that their was other languages to learn on it. Although I am in love woth this, I wish that I could just learn more from this in other languages. Great game though.
A very nice game to learn Spanish. I suggest this game only to play to learn Spanish. It is a battle game to learn. It shows very less ads. We can learn Spanish through this game very easily and can learn.
This app doesn't let me hit the green button after pvp duels at all, and has an extremely finicky point of contact after normal pve fights. I spend as much time hitting that completion button as I do entire fights. Would be fun otherwise for a bit of vocab training.
I find it a nice break from other apps. It can be as intense or relaxing as you choose.
the animations is a little rough, but it's a fun way to preactice vocabulary
I was really excited to try this out but it's unusable. Every single time I win or lose a fight, it freezes at the menu that pops up and my only option is to restart the game. :/
only just got started at the time of posting this, but everything is awesome so far!
Could use a little more detail, I wish there were more ways to interact with your creature. Some more small improvements but overall I enjoy it
I really liked the game and now with the new update I love it. I like the new features, the new lay out, and the fixes for the graphic glitches. I really like the word and phrase list. The only downside is that there's no way to speak the answers and with the update my wolf went from lvl6 to lvl4, I'm no longer in the institution, and back to grade 0. Hopefully, shouldn't be too hard to get back up. Overall, highly recommended! Great work guys!
The app so far has fantastic graphics and concepts. Very easy to pick up words for a beginner! However, fluency pass is a bit pricey for kids that this seems targeted to. Overall it is a good price for year (60 usd roughly), but still pricey. A few bugs where the game breaks and typos makes me hesitant to purchase such a high ticket item, but overall can possibly be a good price for an active player. Play base does not seem very high, however. But it seems active.
Good start, but needs some work. It would be helpful to practice one grade to review instead of randomly being given words that have been unlocked from all the grades. It let me graduate to the next grade without having any practice on all of the words and phrases from the previous one. Competition is a nice feature, but there's no mechanism matching players in a similar grade. I often faced opponents more advanced than me.
Been playing for a couple months and it's great. I appreciate how the main mechanic, quickly picking the right Spanish word, is used in a variety of ways (practice battles, league, exams, etc) so it doesn't get stale. The books are really fun too and I like the bits of lore! The free content mostly overlaps with what I learned in a semester of college Spanish for beginners. For my purposes this was a very useful refresher and good for the childlike spirit too!
This game is awesome. It's exactly what I was looking for, something engaging to help me learn/recall spanish words & grammar. One of my favorite features is the on-the-fly translations of the text in the story books. This game is fun enough that I find myself practicing español far more often than I usually would. I'd give it a five but occasionally it's glitchy (not often) and there's small mistakes.
Very useful and fun. There are some bugs every now and then but nothing serious so far. My only complaint is that the books mentioned in the description are just very short stories and Don Quixote is complex and translated programmatically word for word, instead of being properly translated like the other stories, so it does not help much in reading practice. Nevertheless, I hope the developers would release versions of the game for other languages, specifically Japanese and German. Please!!! 😓
I have 4 years of schooling in Spanish, but have never been very good at understanding native speakers. I can speak ok Spanish but I have to think about it first. I like how this program makes me translate quickly without overly thinking about it. I also like how I can read books partially in Spanish and be able to understand a good portion of what I'm reading. It helps encourage me that I'm making progress.
