Language Switcher Widget
It can be a nightmare trying to navigate through multiple Settings Menus in a foreign language, but now it's possible to return with just one click, using the Language Switcher Widget on your device's home screen!
N. B. This app provides a quick and simple way to switch between pre-installed languages on your device, but it cannot install any new languages.
Devices with root access may be able to switch to non-system languages however we cannot guarantee their accuracy and do not encourage this behaviour.

No longer works. With the latest version of android it simply opens up the place where you can select the language In android settings menu. Or perhaps I'm just not as part enough to figure out how to make it work.

Saves time if you frequently need to change the language
Does exactly what it's supposed to. My phone defaults on boot to SIM1 language and this changes it with one touch. The only very minor complaint I have is about the look of the widget - an option to turn off the text would allow it to look better on the launcher.
I was hoping this would be a one touch toggle between two or more languages but all it does is take you to the language menu anyways. I can't see how this works be useful for someone who just wants to switch between languages quickly
Would not be necessary if Google added Language among the other shortcuts to Settings already there. (Though the flag of the current language is a nice touch.)
Quick access to lang settings. Got my phone out of Chinese I couldnt underatand or navigate the menus! This app saved me
With two different native languages in our home this is the perfect widget.
It literally just opened up the language settings already on my phone.
My android suddenly got stuck in Chinese. None of the suggested solutions on the internet worked- the menus were not as described. Downloaded this app and within seconds I was back in English. Thank you so much!
It's good, if you need to switch between two languages. With three or more became less convenient and slow because it's only one switcher too all. It would be nice with one button for each language.
This widget is so simple and even easy to develop, but a great idea at the same time. Really efficent and useful, thanks
yes I can try out any language risking to be locked out from the function to restore my language.. and it goes really quick ! A+++
It works to quickly switch between languages on 4.2+, which makes it better than other widgets I found. Would be great if we could pin favorite languages to the top.
I used to get lost into foreign languages menus... This won't happen again thanks to this smart app !

When I change from Spanish to English the phone call language changes to Russian, which I don't have in my phone. Htc Desire S, android 2.3.5
