Language Translator, Pronounciation & Conversation

I had advertisements popping up all the time and also had an extra lock screen on my phone, come to find out it was this translating app, and I wasn't even using the translating app, as soon as I uninstalled the app all the advertisements and the extra lock screen disappeared. I've seen other reviews referring to people complaining about ads unless they paid the fee, that has nothing to do with it, the ads are fine within the app itself, not outside the app.

I recently started getting tons of popup ads, in front of other apps, not just while this one was open. So annoying and not worth it, even though the translation was fine. It's not easy to see which app the ads are coming from, which is likely the only reason this app has as many high ratings as it does.

I love this app. Its very easy to understand and its real handy on your phone. I love that you say whatever comes to mind and it will translate it right back to you. in your choice of sixty different lanuages. Will become very useful in any country around the whole world. Find yourself in a sticky situation, far away from home, across the ocean blue & in foreign lands. it can help you get threw costumes, into & onto the airline of your choice. also can be fun conversation starter at parties!!!

Very sneaky app! it shows the advertiseme in a very sneaky way. It steals other app name and desktop and ahows the advertisement. It took me a while to find out where those annoying and frequent ads coming from. from the usage, its not doing any great in terms of translation. Its using google translate and text to speech services. I'd rather use google services myself instead someone sells me crappy ads! Looka like even in play store, the reviews can be bought!

So far no issues. Found this app after getting frustrated with Google Translate time after time with terrible pronunciations and translations that are inaccurate. This app works great for German, which is a fairly difficult language being that some words have not so perfect equivalents to English!

Brilliant app. Really useful and shows history which is very helpful. You can translate both ways. The audio sometimes does not work but when it does, it is clear. Would really recommend the app. It is the best I have found so far (Greek language)

It's accurate for some of the translation but not entirely correct especially for names were wrong. The other issue is that it keeps automatically closing on its own after your screen turns off or when you switch task manager.

really good translation app use it for my work as I work in a restraunt and there can be a language barrier a lot of the time. And found no flaw in the app exsept it dose give me adds on my phone home and lock screen and when I am using it. (not found a way to turn that off) but over all would recommend.

Very easy to use! My neighbors are from Cuba, speak very little English, and this app has been a lifesaver for us, trying to get to know each other, despite the language barrier. It's also healing me to improve upon the little Spanish I remember from college!!! LOL

Do not install this app, I experienced with pop up ad on lock screen and after unlocked phone since I had installed this app, I have tried to fix this problem for month, I was so frustrated every times I used my phone until I called Samsung Stars for help. As soon as I uninstalled this app, finally my phone is free from add, so happy now.

used translate and conversation. didnt show the words i was saying. then it printed a spanish translation with no voice. even when i pressed speaker it didnt say the phrase in spanish it didnt pick up the word 4 no matter how clearly i pronounced it in my own language. five times. . good luck using this app unless your looking for a create frustration app.

Too many ads!!! Even if the app is off, ads are popping all the time and everywhere, in the lock screen, home screen, during charging, etc. Overwhelming!! Uninstalling.

Extremely bad app. Do not install. It fails to do most translating and it continually flashes full screen ads at you at any time. Most annoying.It took me some delving into to identify this app as the culprit, and then you have to "kill" it before uninstalling.

The app is great and does what its suppose to. The bad thing I found out about it is that I was making ads pop up ALL OVER MY PHONE! I became very annoying so I removed it and now my phone is spam free. still a great app though if you don't mind the ad problem

1. There was no way to use the app, without first answering pop-up "do you like using this app?" - annoying! 2. The app was unable to understand the first and therefore, only word that I wanted it to translate. Not a good sign, so I uninstalled. 3. Why does every app want access to all of my files, media, etc.? I find that to be intrusive and creepy. Why not specify the files that must be accessed, if any?

Google Translate works better. Many languages are not voice supported other than my own (English). This defeats the purpose of the app. The text translation is the only thing I found useful. Uninstalling.

Fantastic experience, and to the complainers, if you purchase the app the ads go away. Imagine that... Be happy to use it all because it is truly a gift. The discovery of native languages leads to a much deeper spiritual and cultural connection.

The app works well but constantly runs in the background. It's very battery intensive and no matter how many times you force stop the app it just restarts.

Lg x power boostmobile phone. App works great translating. Except it doesn't appear in my recent apps and I have to restart the app. It slows down upon translations prints and app functions? any ideas?

DO NOT DOWNLOAD!! Infected my Phone with pop up ads every time I unlocked phone and randomly while using any other app. It drove me crazy. Finally used an ad detecter app which told me it was this translate app causing it! Immediately removed.

It's a relatively good app it translates easily, it uses your battery which is a down, it's kinda thirsty so if you don't rate it it'll keep poping up saying "DO YOU LIKE US?!?! CAN YOU RATE US?!?!?" and it won't let you choose no, I don't like.

Don't install! This app will show ads on your home screen even when you dont run the app. It even changes its title and logo, pretending to be other apps so you dont realize they are the ones showing the ads.

Downloaded this app, then I kept receiving full screen pop up ads on my lock screen, and while using other apps. Closed the app, and the ads would still pop up. Don't download this app.
