Languinis: Word Puzzles

I have given this very high reviews, I enjoy this game very much. But lately I cannot watch an ad to get a power up, it freezes. I have to restart the game, lose a life and start the process over again just to keep losing lives. Please help!!!

Love this game, but where are the new levels? I completed game 1390/Island Y over a year ago, still no new levels. That being said, I have spent maybe $3 on this game and have plenty of coins and tons of power-ups. Yes you have to watch ads to get free ones, but how else are they supposed to give you free ones? I will gladly watch ads in order to free stuff thats actually worth something.

Just a great game. You can be strategic or lazy and still have fun. Mix of easy, med and hard levels. The in game ads are minor and sensible. ( watching ads for prizes etc) If you choose to do a purchase it's pretty affordable. In over a year of playing, I've never had a single issue or glitch. My only complaint ...they can be kinda cheap on the prizes ..esp the ones you need most like extra moves and spelling help.

Ingenious, scrabble for 1 player alone;with a savior complex! And it's such an ego boost when your Languinis bow to you for beating a level! Update: lately watching ad for 2 times reward doesn't do anything except play an ad, you only get original gift or reward. And my little guys don't bow really anymore 😕

Was very fun but gets to a point u gotta spend money.***i meant to say u can't succeed and move to the next level, level 110 for example. Its not possible, at least not for the 1,000 tries, it stops being fun. I'm out :)

I know that I haven't been playing this game very long, and I love a good challenge, but this game is frustrating, and close to impossible to win. I am dropping my rating down. The graphics are great! But the "words" the creators "invent" make the average person feel dumb. A majority of them aren't even real words. Unfortunately, I'm not impressed.

Was enjoying this game until Level 43, where one of the challenges is to make the word "Temple"... the letter "P" never appears on the grid! Of course you can always pay to get some more turns!

Love this game! The characters are cute, graphics are great, puzzles are challenging... A different approach altogether! Thanks!

I love word games. This one is great because it helps challenge your mind I don't really understand what I'm doing right now but as long as I keep spelling words I'm getting somewhere.

Used to love this game. Still love the game itself. But you jumped the shark by adding endless gimmicks, offering challenges but not the means of achieving said challenges. For example collect golden 10 Q's in a week, giving me 1 gold Q every three days, but never a U with it. And the amount of ads, and when. Play time should never, ever, be shorter than ad time. And it should never interfere with play time. Beginning and end, fine not during. Otherwise you lose people. Like me.

This game is a breath of fresh air. Not your typical match 3 game. It makes you have to think about words and more then just matching 3. Plus, the music and sounds are really fun. Great game all round.

Enjoy this game; it's harder than most word games, which is refreshing. Most are too easy, and the pacing makes you feel accomplished when you beat a hard times level. All that being said, at around level 13 (I don't have a Facebook, so I had to restart from the beginning when I finally decided to reinstall this again,) when I wanted to decline matching a word (realize you don't have a certain letter for a word, etc.) It would not let me reset. Uninstalled.

I am really enjoying this game, but I'm ready to uninstall it. There are to many ads back to back and the graphics at the end of each board takes too long to.complete. The combination of the two is making me mad. There is no way to speed up the playing time. like i have to watch all the letter fall, then all the jewels explode, then the lightening strikes for the remainder of the tiles. My god!! Then 3 ads. ITS TOO MUCH

I really like this game. I only gave 3 stars as the dictionary is WAY OFF! There are legitimate valid words that aren't acceptable and after several months still have not been added/updated and also letter combinations that are considered "words" but are not words in any meaningful language. It makes for very frustrating play and makes getting past some levels very frustrating and nearly impossible. Still, it's a great way to pass the time, fix the word issue and it's a solid gold experience.

This is a very clever combination of two different kinds of puzzle, both of which I like. I love all the characters so far (simple is fine when I just want to rest; I don't always need obvious depth), and the story is clever in making the puzzle and characters feel really related (a lot of puzzle games should take note), while still being playful (not something I always need, but it's fun here and so far has stayed in character). The player is purely helpful, non violent, and freedom and reconciliation are the goals. I only hate the levels where letters break over time. Stole a whole star off of the experience for me.

It has a great deal of potential. At times, it is fun and challenging. I particularly like being able to switch languages to practice foreign-language spelling and I have seen my Spanish vocabulary improve as a result. I paid for some things at the store to remove ads and give the developers something for their work. BUT many of the levels are so ridiculously frustrating that I simply walk away. You are given specific goals but not the pieces you need, you have obstacles in the way and letters have timers turning them back to obstacles. And then you run into inconsistencies in their dictionary on allowed endings: is this Spanish verb transitive or not? MY dictinary says that it is! So you end up being penalized for actually *finding a move* in a level which was already insane. The other solution is to pay a GREAT DEAL of money to try to brute force your way past. I *despise* games that badger you into laying down cash, not to make the game more fun or interesting but just to keep it barely playable. This is rapidly turning into one of those games.

The screen is very busy with alot going on, but the game itself is fun! Had to delete & reinstall to start at the beginning after stalling out on a level i just couldn't beat. I appreciate the increasing challenge but eventually grew tired of not being able to advance. The challenge overshadowed the entertainment. So im back at level 1 and ready to have fun all over again!

Love the game and find it challenging and very entertaining! Issues lately though with some levels freezing. And level 277, when the game does a shuffle when you're out of words, it will not stop shuffling the letters and I have to repeatedly start the level over again. It's done this a few times and it's becoming quite annoying.

It's fun to play in spite of the storyline and graphics. A version aimed at grownups would be successful I think. I like it enough to stick with it a while and see whether the irritation factor decreases... The instructions are clear but a quick tutorial at the start might have been less annoying than the drip feed method of introducing a new gameplay at each level. It's enjoyable despite all that though! 🙂

This game isn't perfect (is any?), but if you like using your brain and having fun, you will enjoy it. I have kept this game longer than any other. I feel it's the best word game available. It's definitely my favorite. You can play offline and still advance. You can have the full game experience without ever spending a cent. I don't have to reset my cache very often, and it doesn't have frequent upgrades. Go back to easier, lower levels to get extra boosts during some events.

A truly unique and fun game that deserves more recognition. It combines the fun of a word finding game with a color matching game. The reason I give it 4 stars is the ads. I'm fine with watching an ad for a booster, (I actually love having that option) but playing ads before & after a level is just over kill. It would also be nice if I could skip the "finale" when the game is won, it feels very long and drawn out. This game has the potential to be something great. Better than most games on here

Conceptually one of the more fun, creative match games out there; like two puzzle games in one. I'm not a fan of the timed levels... I play games to get away from stress not to induce myself to more, but that's a preference. I would have given it a 5, but the graphics in the new update are just terrible and unpleasant. So the game I give a 5, but the overplayed, bland, irritating, unmatched graphics are a 1. They really should consider bringing the original look back or at least give an option.

This game is clever, and really cute. It's like a match-three and scrabble all in one. Edit: Downloaded this yesterday and it's just quit working. It leaves me on the loading screen for 5 minutes (the longest I was willing to wait for it). I tried uninstalling and re-installing. I tried clearing my cache. I tried changing the settings ingame and on my phone. Nothing works. Not cool.

[Edited] I really enjoyed this game. I like high-level word games that allow for long and uncommon words. But the level of chance involved in the match-3 portion of some levels makes it very, very hard to continue play without purchases, particularly the ones with blockers where you have to create and then break streaming tiles. I played several levels many times before I could progress. At level 138 I reached the limit of my patience. Once you use up all your powerups, you're done.

Fun game and good concept but so frustrating! Too many ads! To pass levels and get boosters, you have to watch the ads. Level 435... wanted me to spell 'constellation' but never ever gave me a letter 's'. I ended up using a booster (hence, ad) to pass the level! A letter s! Also inconsistent on different devices. Works fine on my old phone, but buggy on my new phone. Update: More bugs! Won't load ads and now won't load the level! Thumbs down!

Still my favourite game but as I have finished all of the levels, I decided to go back and get 3 suns of all levels. I have tried several times but, although the first screen shows I have got 3 the main screen only shows 2 or 1 suns and I can't collect all island suns. Levels noted so far; 94, 138, 162, 163, 175, 185, 188, 189 and 194. Also Fall Crew doesn't work properly any more and game crashes during some Ads.

I have been playing for a few weeks. Very challenging. Don't like that some words aren't counted. Worked hard to get the big win 10 level challenge, won 4 hours of lives, the game didn't let me have them or the other prizes. Then spun and got another hour, same thing--no lives. That is very disappointing. I believe I am done with this game. Not worth the frustration.

There are a lot of glitches in this game. There are words that weren't accepted that should have been. I have recieved double the rewards, of course that was a good glitch. The worst glitch, I was 1st in the Letter Rush, but when it "ended" I never received my rewards. The timer reset and all of our points remained. Then, with 1 more day left of the new timer, the challenge all of a sudden stopped before I could regain my lead. I guess time doesn't really exist in this game.
