I truly wanted to like this app, but the Bluetooth pumping recording option sucks. When I attempt to record a pumping section via Bluetooth, the screen stays stuck on "please turn on your device." The machine was on, yet it never synced. I don't have time to continue shutting the app down in order to get it to work.
I haven't connected the smart pump function yet but I love the app. I track everything but the diaper changes, but that's a "me" thing. It has nothing to do with the app. I wasn't able to download it for maybe a month but ever since it magically downloaded for me, I've used it every feeding and every pump and it's been great!
Edited after some time using; the pump keeps losing connection with my phone. I end up having the delete the pump from the app, reconnect (several times because it just doesn't connect the first 5 times or so.) It might be more of a pump issue (it was on clearance; 2.0 smartpump.) I do use the non smartpump timer when this happens. It's just very frustrating not being able to use the feature that connects to my phone, as I've been halfway through pumping before noticing it hasn't connected.
Nice whenever it wants to work properly... Which isn't often. I have only gotten it to connect to the smart pump twice. And I often have to close and reopen the app to see my daily progress because it often wants to tell me "0" for everything. Also I've had a few instances where it hasn't even logged what I put in. Edited down to 1 star from 2 because it more and more stops logging my sessions. I'm about ready to find a new app.
EDIT: crashing issue has been fixed in a matter of days and they were good about reaching out to inform me, so great customer support. Still a slight issue with inconsistent Bluetooth connectivity but an otherwise great app. App updated today and does nothing but crash. Bluetooth feature is spotty at best. Get your stuff together and this will be a great app.
**UPDATE 3/15/2022** The issue with being unable to install has been resolved! I received a direct email following up on this problem from their support team, who were incredibly nice and thorough. I have yet to use the app but their customer service alone is worth 4+ stars. Thank you Lansinoh! 0 STARS - won't even install. this is the only app I have ever had this problem with, but it won't install. all other apps I've tried downloading have no issue. I've tried everything and nothing changed.
The app worked great and was super easy to use. Loved how I was able to keep track of everything. That is until the app refuses to open after using it for 5 months. Now I can't open the app to input data or get data off it. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it still will not launch the app. Highly disappointed.
I love this app! On top of how amazing the app is, their customers service is AMAZING! After an update to my phone and then the app, it stopped working. I messaged the team and got a prompt reply about how they would look into the issue. Not even 2 days later, the technical team had revamped the app and released a new update. I personally worked with Meghan during these issues and she was beyond fantastic! She kept me updated and let me know as soon as I could do an update to get the app working
Update: Within hours of posting my review and emailing the developer, I received warm customer service. I deleted the app and reinstalled it with the new update, and this fixed the problem without losing my data. I love this app, but I just updated it. Now, it won't open at all. This is very disappointing.
It was operational until today. When I first downloaded the app my Bluetooth wouldn't connect to my pump so I was unable to track my pumping sessions. Everything else worked fine and it helped me to keep track of feeding times. Today I tried to open the app and it kept closing the app talking about a bug.
Every othet time they update the app it seems to break the connectivity to the smart pump. It finally seemed to be consistently working over the last few months after a year of use. However, since the last update the app cannot find my pump no matter what I try.
This morning the app crashed when I tried to open it and it hasn't worked all day. I have restarted the app, paused and unpaussed the app, force quit, cleared the cache, cleared the app data, restarted my phone and uninstalled and reinstalled the app. It's still not working and I'm concerned about losing 5 months of pumping history.
I LOVE that the app helps me track how much milk I'm pumping from each breast, how much water I'm taking in; and even how many diapers and feeds my baby has though out the day, however, I CAN NOT GET MY SMART PUMP AND THE APP TO SYNC. I've made several attempts, watched the YouTube video and still got no where with it. Great app regardless, but being able to sync it to my pump was the whole reason I downloaded it
This app is amazing and the tech support team are amazing - especially Meghan from the support team! This app allows you to track breastfeeding sessions, pumping sessions, wet/dirty diapers, and so much more! This app has literally saved this new momma, especially with all the late night/early mornings - plus it's so easy to use! When I experienced a technical issue, I emailed the support team and they had responded within minutes and had my issue resolved within 24 hours! 10/10 would recommend!
Horrible! The pump is amazing but the app is trash. I cannot connect my pump to the app whether I scan the QR code or enter it manually. I have been in contact with the Lansinoh tech department and even they don't know what's wrong. Now my case is being sent to Consumer Affairs, not holding my breath for an answer to this problem.
Absolutely Wonderful!!! So easy to use to record information. Layout is clean and easy to review. This is just my review for the breastfeeding, bottle feeding and diaper count. I can't wait to get my smart pump through insurance and use this wonderful app. Who would have thunk breastfeeding would have even more perks and excitement?! 😁
Hi! I am unable to download the app. I have a Samsung Galaxy A71 5G. I've checked to make sure I had good wifi connection, that I had enough space as well as checked for software updates. Please help me out. I have a 3 week old and would like to be able to use the app along with the pump. UPDATED: I emailed and with Meghan's help, we were able to get it to download. Thank you!!
Was always buggy when displaying summary page, sometimes just wouldn't load in data. Most recent update broke the app, now crashes when opening summary page so I can't check feeding totals. Shortcut to save feedings or diapers still appears to work, but I can't check to confirm.
My app updated and afterwards I wasn't able to access the app, it just kept closing. I use this app religiously to keep track of nursing and pumping. I emailed the support team and within 30 min Meghan reached out to me to get some more info and work on a solution. Less than 2 days later Meghan reached back and the problem was resolved. I was impressed by the quick turn around and attentiveness and so happy to have the app back!! Highly recommend Lansinoh Baby App 2.0!
The app stopped working with my last update so I emailed them from the email on the play store and they fixed it for me in 2 days. Awesome customer support that resolves issues if you reach out! Still wish there was a sleep tracker but there are other apps for that too :)
Starting this morning the app just crashes when I try to open it. I tried clearing my data and my cache. I tried restarting my phone. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Nothing works. I've now lost my entire history that I use with my pediatrician because my daughter wasn't gaining weight quickly enough. This isn't an app that is allowed to fail like this.
The app is great except It won't connect to the pump via Bluetooth. Scanning the bar code doesn't work and when I enter it manually, it tells me the number is incorrect.
I can now download the app but I've tried countless times to try to get it to connect to my pump by scanning the QR code and putting in the code into the app. It tells me my code is incorrect and won't connect with the QR code either so I can't even track using my Bluetooth and information on the app when I pump.
Pros: Tracking of pumping, breastfeeding, water intake, diaper change, bottle feeding, growth Cons: Bluetooth doesn't always connect. There is no way to edit entries after submission.
I've had continuous issues with the Bluetooth connection. I love the concept of this app, but it could operate much smoother.
The app itself is good but I'm unable to connect my pump it keeps telling me the serial number is incorrect I've tried scanning the QR code and entering it manually but it just says incorrect serial number every time.
I usually LOVE this app. It helps me keep track of not only the baby but my water intake as well. However, now there is a bug in the system and it keeps kicking me off. Please fix I want my app back. There aren't any other good ones to use.
I really wish I could just log into the old app. Every time I open this app my phone freezes up and then crashes within 3 or so minutes of running a breastfeeding timer. Also, if you fall asleep or forget to turn off a timer it is just gone. I mainly use this app to remember the last time I fed and on which side. If it is constantly dropping sessions off, it does me no good. The old app would just keep the time going forever until you went back to it and turned it off. Very disappointed 😞
I very much appreciate this useful free app. I am able to keep track of everything I need and want to. I have had trouble with the Bluetooth connecting, and sometimes the app doesn't want to save and close after a breastfeeding session if I use other apps such as YouTube during the session. For the most part the app works as it should and provides the tracking I need.
This app could have so much potential. It has so many good features to keep track of water, feeding, and diapers. Unfortunately, the most important aspect, which is to track the pumping, does not work! The Bluetooth function does not connect most of the time, even after closing the app, or disconnecting. I hope this issue gets resolved...
