Large Countdown Timer

Love the big counter. I need to display the countdown to a room, and even on a smartphone people can see it. The ability to give notification of a time about to end is one of the two key features that made me get this and it's awesome. I wish resuming a countdown was easier if you just need to restart the countdown with the same diration. Having multiple timers would be nice. But very happy with this app and recommend it.

The one downside that I see is that you cannot control the volume of the alarm you set for the timer. Mine plays very loud and it would be great if you adjust it somehow. no fifth star unless there's a way to adjust the volume of the alarm. New update after using it. The alarm doesn't go off now on time. Sometimes it's 30 seconds, sometimes it's 2 minutes late. For this I'm downgrading it since it fails to do it's one sole purpose.

My last review - done some time ago - has not changed. 🙂This app continues to be the best of its type - simple to operate, numbers VERY easy to see, no unnecessary clutter on screen (in fact the numbers can be adjusted to completely fill the screen in landscape mode! Amazing 😳) Does everything i want it to do. Would give 10 stars if i could 👍

Good app, would be handy if one could start the timer going again for the same amount of time with a single click. I time speakers, sometimes they finish quicker, sometimes they go overtime. I have to tap multiple times to get the time going again. Apart from this it's an excellent app.

The alarm didn't always sound off at the right time. Was reading while I wait for something I was cooking and I wanted to check it at certain intervals so I used a countdown timer. Edit: A really prompt response as well as a quuck solution! After a bit of testing, that fixed the issue and all is well. And yes I did see the solution was already at the description (but only after the fact), just didn't seem like an app were I NEEDED to look at its info. (The food didn't get burned fyi)

The timer always keeps accurate time. The last app I tried didn't. I like that it makes the numbers bigger when the phone is in landscape mode. Some additional features would be nice, but simplicity is best, (don't guild the lily and don't fix what isn't broken).

Current favorite timer. And I've tried many. Easy set, visible from across the room, easy to add time or reset current timer. Best is the variable length alarm. Sometimes I need something to ring until I stop it but mostly I just need a nudge. Currently set at one strum of guitar. And it interups if I'm using my phone. Not all timers do that and it is one of the things that I specifically need. 1st fav timer had a multi colour clock face, purely a looks thing. This ones function is better

Great visual timer that is easy to use. I use it with my students with special needs to maintain schedules and transition. I also love it for kitchen and other personal use; great ability to do other things and see the transparent smaller clock on the screen. Thank you.

I love this countdown timer with alarm! I appreciate that you can choose for the alarm not to repeat — perfect for a meditation timer. I also have a suggestion: Please place a LARGE "Start/Stop" button and a "Reset" button under the numbers. Start/Stop: Starts or stops the timer. Reset: Resets timer to the last value set. Thanks for the great product!!

Useless for me... Widget keeps freezing up and have to open app to unfreeze it. It worked for the first three times any ways. After that widget wouldn't unfreeze at all. I got a timer built in to phone like you and you and you and everyone else ..... Placing tinker on home screen when in use was the hole point of getting another timer so again .. useless for me

Overall, a nice interface but instructions are confusing. It works inconsistently, sometimes remembering history of times set, other times deafaulting to 0 with no history list, necessitating manual re-entry. It also lacks automated restart for a cycle I wish to repeat through the day, similar to what the Android clock used to have but removed (we count on independent developers like you to make up for Google's arbitrary and sometimes utterly baffling removal of useful features!)

Having used this app for years, I naturally installed on my new phone. Very handy to have, and easy to learn. When countdown completes it show on the lock screen without any fuss on my part. Plus if I set timer then bring up home screen it runs without dragging battery down until time expires

Have been using this app for a week now, so far so good. A thumbs up. Only wish that there was a stopwatch function included. This app only allows you to enter how long you think a task might take it does not count time in the other direction starting from zero similarly to 'you know' a stopwatch.

Very good for a countdown timer. Has all the capability needed for that. I particularly like that you can set a timer and easily reset it to run again after the the time lapses. I also like the fact you can put labels on your timers and then reselect them the next time based on the label . Currently you must set a timer and let it expire before you can create a label for it. It would be better if you could define a label and the time associated with it before you actually start the timer.

Really like this. I like that you have a lockscreen bar timer. It's easy to set up and it's good you can choose the alarm and vibration pattern. Would like a transparent background to widget but very little to moan about.

Great app, solid performance! Have been using it for a few years. Easy to use and customize. Fast, simple user interface and easy to read display. No ads or invasive permissions required. A must have app for daily convenience and prodoctivity.

I used this app in the past and it worked very well. I was about to reinstall it, but they want access to my phone's history, photos, audio, etc. Why? This is a simple app. There is no reason to give access to my pivate information for a countdown timer.

A really nice app where you're not plagued with adverts. It has a vibration setting if you want it which can be altered or turned off. It also has an in-depth terrific help section too. And it looks fab! Start button could be bigger.

Excellent app! You can set the time of day you want just like an alarm clock! This is the main reason I use it. Also can set as a count down timer. One nifty feature is you can use any song on your phone as the alarm sound. Thank you to the developer for creating this app.

I've been using this for timed training exercises for my students... very easy to see, adjust, stop, etcetera. It does what it claims in a straightforward way and keeps it easy to control. Happy to recommend this app.

im confused on how to save presets to access. When i click the widget im only shown alarms for 1, 5 and 10 minutes along with 2 alarms for the next day. All i can edit is the name of these but not the time. Im looking to set up 5 minute interval timers up to 1 hour (5, 10, 15, 20, etc). Does anyone know if this is possible?

This is not only the best countdown timer in the Play Store, it also runs in the background. It has a lot of features, even though it's a simple countdown timer, it does have a single, that day only, alarm.

Not bad except for the 5 seconds delay of the sound going off. Tried using different sound files and I got the same thing over and over a 5 seconds delay then the tone. A longer delay about 8 seconds and the tone played again. Not good for a timer.

As a timer, works as advertized, so no surprise there. Two negatives ... why do you need access to all my data? So, issue 1 is data theft. Second, why do you consume battery like you're solving block chain? You're a simple clock, for heaven's sake. Fix those and you'll get a better rating.

Nice app, great alarm and I like the pre-alarm warning. Only problem for me is battery consumption. I use this to time proving and baking times (25 - 45 minutes) and my phone gets rather hot and the battery runs down quickly. I don't understand why, as my old Casio watch would countdown for five years on one battery. Am I getting something wrong?

Great alarm app that never lets me down. All sorts of settings to play with or just set and go. I found it very appealing and so different from the usual alarms.

Just what I needed and all that I needed from a timer app. Large numbers, refreshing display and always on. When best features come without ads or unnecessary permission requests, it restores your faith in humanity 😁... Great job team.
