This app rambles and drones on.... not to mention there is a glitch in the system. Everytime I try to open an attachment in a different app (for both work and personal emails) it opens the lark app instead of opening a pdf or literally anything else. Through my work email, I can receive voicemails that are received as an email. When I click the attachment, it should play...nope. It opens lark. Incredibly frustrating.
Very frustrating that it freezes up. I have to restart my phone whenever I open the app because all it has is a white screen and won't let me go back!... Today 4/22/22 I tried to reinstall the app, it won't let me log in or set up an account. No one seems to fix the issues with the app. I wouldn't pay for this app, only from insurance am I trying it!!!
It made me update the app... since then it just circles through telling me one secong...analyzing your data.. checking your data...still processing...interpretation of data still taking a moment...taking another sec to load. Over and over. Shut it down and restart it, same thing. I don't find the advice to be too helpful, since it assumes sodium levels but doesn't explain or allow for you to correct. It cannot help me if the information isn't accurate.
This app is meh, it feels like it causes more stress then it helps solve. I know it tries to pretend like you are speaking to a person, but some of us just want to enter the data for the day and move on or read through the info and move on. There really should be an option for express mode where one doesn't need to okay every response or tell it you are feeling okay, then okay okay. Even with fast mode on it feels slow to respond.
EDIT: They reached out to me and worked tirelessly with me to get the app fixed. Their team pushed an update for me to download which fixed the crashing issue. (Original review below) Crashes constantly. Can't even get the app to open. I've done everything to try to continue using it.
The app does motivate me to do better, I like the star program about how you did each day. My scale had trouble syncing because I don't have great reception where I live, but support gave me some suggestions. Wish you could review info. Like that it is covered by insurance.
Saw this advertised on an app I use regularly, and thought I'd try it out & see what it's about... Unfortunately, after I download it, it says not supported on my phone/s. Failed attempt on a Galaxy note 8 and Galaxy note 10 plus. So... It's not me, it's you! 🙃... Maybe work the issues out before putting ads out etc.. Bringing people to this app, only to be disappointed.
This app is annoying. This is the new app My healthcare is using and they totally dropped the ball with this one. Everything about this app is annoying, especially the login of food. Portion size and ingredients is way off and just having to take the time to adjust everything is a good way to discourage somebody from doing it. Login exercise with no variety it's like they're guessing. The robo text conversation about health tips and reminders, boring.
Pretty helpful. Sometimes the bubbles don't show the entire message or options until you click on the bubble. The food edit option doesn't actually allow you to edit the food portion or calories.
App was working fine and I found myself being held accountable. After 1 1/2 months of use the app was not responding. I have uninstalled and reinstalled with no luck. Now not able to open app at all. Wish they would fix the issue.
I really had high hopes for this app, even though of all the previous negative reviews! There are just way to many issues..food, excercise data are wrong even when I correct it myself! It's extremely frustrating all around! I'm also a bit annoyed, I don't know if anyone else has had this happen to them..But I was told that they delivered the scale to my home when no such delivery occured, I was home when supposedly it was delivered.. it's so frustrating 😡 Now I'm getting the run around ughh
It says lark keeps stopping and I can't get the app to open!! Device care on my phone says it keeps crashing. I am constantly sharing emails with the support team but we can't seem to get the issue resolved.
The app has stopped working. It will not open for me to add my day's worth of information. I cannot get into it to send a note to the help department. If it remains unable to open, I will contact my insurance company to explain they should not pay for/support Lark. In the beginning, my first few months, the app worked. Now, it is a waste of my time to uninstall, install, Uninstall, install, etc. I'm very unhappy with it. 😔 Tammy R.
I like the app, I got the free scale but it doesn't sync to my phone. Still waiting for them to fix it. The app gives good tips on how to get motivated.
Haven't been able to use this app in quite a while. Scale data not transferring to app. Already uninstalled and reinstalled, and now it won't pick anything up and has me named as undefined. Hope that my previous progress isn't lost?
It's an ok app...most the time it misses my activity because I don't carry my phone...and the scale is always on error...I have my own fitbit but it won't sync to it and I have to wait to get larks fitbit...
I've been told that an update exists yet cannot find one. Uninstalling and reinstalling as suggested did not yield an update. App is useless as it only prompts me to re-enroll for a second year every time I open it but won't let me enroll because it says my email is already in use. I just keep getting the same emails with zero resolution. I was told my issue was being sent to a different team and them got zero response for three weeks until I sent another email complaining about customer service
Loved the app until now. It will no longer open 😔 when i try to open it it forces shut automatically. It doesnt even open to the homepage. I've tried unistalling and re installing but no luck.....Please help or fix it.
While I appreciate that the app helps me stay accountable, which is working for me, good grief the bugs and loops and conflicting info are driving me away. Every time I use it to log meals, it goes into an unnecessarily detailed explanation of how it uses the info and how to best enter my info. Enough already!!! Also, it coaches me to get more whole grains, and when I have a serving of dietician recommended whole grain food (and portion), I am scolded for too many carbs. Plus more issues.
I've been using this app for about a month now. I think it's nice that your insurance will pay for something that will help you with your weight and health goals. It isn't a perfect system, it would be nice if there was a barcode scanner for food items. There are a few issues with entering meal information and it either not understanding what you meant to log, or just assuming amounts of not only the food but the saturated fat content etc. That aside I have not experienced glitches with the app or other app related issues as other users here have yet... all in all I am pretty happy with the app and an opportunity to lose weight and have better health that doesn't cost me additional money each month.
