Laser Power & Speed Calculator

Suggested power and speed settings to give you a starting point - and a general idea of what settings to use for your circumstances.

Your settings may require some tweaking. Some factors to consider are ambient temperature, water temperature, tube age, focus accuracy etc. If in doubt, use the lowest power possible.

To use this calculator, click your Rated Laser Output Power, then select Cut or Engrave, and then the material you intend to use.

The values we use to calculate Power and Speed settings were measured by Perfect Laser South Africa on our own machines. Readings were taken with material from Cape Town. Your material may differ.

Great starting point settings, nearly every laser configuration is slightly different in the initial PSU settings but this utility will get you close.

great for start of settings - i have used these to begin refining my own settings fir my machines. would be nice to be able to add other materials or modify to be able to build a library of settings custom to the user.

Giving 4 for the Accuracy levels for a 100watt 9060. Could do with a few more materials adding in cut group, plys etc.

Love the app. Would be nice to remove lasers not used and add own materials.

You guys are awesome! Ppl do need to remember though, think of your machine as being a person, each is unique with its own quirks. See this app settings as a starting point, then perfect it for YOUR machine.
