Lasting: Marriage Counseling

I like the app. It's just that my husband has never been a very strong reader. He gets discouraged by all of the reading and never finishes the activity. At the beginning of a session it reads out loud to you. I really wish it did that with all of the text. Despite being a strong reader myself, I would actually prefer the option to have the text read aloud. It helps some people with retention as well.

Update: a year later. We didn't use the app for a few months due to $$. But they sent a great offer and now we have a year's subscription! This app helps my marriage! this app has taken our broken relationship and transformed it! we've been together almost 7 years and a few kids later... relationships are HARD. we've been through so much and it has taken a toll. but with lasting we have learned how to communicate again. how to care about each other again. how to prioritize us again!

My husband and I are both PhD mental health professionals and use this for our own relationship. The content is superb, and the app is exceptionally well designed and organized. The concepts are accessible and you learn something wonderful every time. I honestly highly recommend it.

It was great until they took this away from my fiance and I, a paid subscription was never mentioned about this app. It never stated we were in a trial period. Now, after a week of being unable to use the app, I go to continue some of the lessons and they want me to pay?? Feels totally like a bait and switch, this is sneaky, and evil. Very manipulative from the app, making progress that's good then wanting $ and it turns my stomach. It was helping us but I refuse to pay 60 bucks for this.

Charged my card when I didn't even sign up for a free trial or subscription. I got a random notification from my bank that this app charged me $32. Which makes me mad because my account was low and now I have to pay an overdraft fee. I did not sign up for the subscription or free trial. My husband and I were only participating in what the app already gave for free with the download.

The content is great. I only tried the free version though because it's very glitchy. I'm concerned if I subscribe I'll still be wasting a lot of time not being able to use it because of "unknown errors"

This is legit saving my relationship. I'm so happy because we don't think to tackle a lot of these issues together. I firmly believe it's you and your partner who do the work BUT this app certainly helps. Would really love to keep the premium version as my trial expires soon. Who knows, it's so good I may end up buying it!

The app is great and has been very helpful with repairing some damage in my relationship. However, when we type out "other" answers in the text box on the multiple choice questions during sessions they are not being saved for some reason. This means we can't compare those answers, nor can we go back in to edit the session to see what we wrote because it's not there anymore. Once this issue is figured out I'd absolutely give this app 5 stars.

So far we have enjoyed the app and it has been really helpful. It has some good insight and really makes you think and starts a good conversation. There is definitely some improvements and fine tuning that could be done but overall happy and we have continued our paid subscription. You just have to remember the price is in USD - as we had a shock when the payment came out after the exchange rate.

Unsure of the app quality yet—still too new (I'll update later.) I DO know that almost immediately after buying a year-long subscription, I was very disappointed to come across something I can't access bcuz they want more money. Especially, since the paid version seems pretty much the same as the free version; I'm not sure where the difference lies...

I hate how misleading the whole"about app" and the photos are. It makes it seem like it's a completely free app with all these awesome tools that won't cost a dime. WRONG! It's a free to download subscription based app just say that! Don't mislead people into thinking it's free and then when you open the app $54 something for 3 months or something like that. From what I explored in the app it is a pretty good app with numerous tools and even online workshops tohelpyour relationshipnotenoughspace

First of all my previous review was deleted! I was autologged out of my lasting account and I can't remember my password. The only option to get back on is through the "magic link" they send. But the link doesn't work, it's faulty. I wrote to them several times and no one got back to me. I'm being charged with no option of using the app.

Fantastic app if you're both willing to work on your marriage. Still a great app, but a few notes: If I've already rated the app, the rate app box doesn't need to pop up every time I open the app. Glitch. When a couple has been married near 30 years, questions about what marriage will be like in 30 years is a bit depressing. Downgraded due to those issues.

READ THE TERMS OF SERVICE! *Anything* submitted to them (possibly including private communications between you and your partner) effectively gets licensed to them to do with as they please! I mean maybe they won't do it? But their terms state it, so if at any time they decide it's a good idea to use your private chats in a commercial or ad, there's nothing stopping them, and you've already consented!

I used this with my boyfriend, then fiance, now husband and it helped us transition through different phases of our relationship, adapt the language we needed to properly communicate our needs, wants, desires, frustrations and emotional calls, and has made us a rock solid unit for having used it. I recommend it to all of my friends and family without exception.

I think if my ex and I had actually stayed with using this app we might have stood a better chance at lasting. Seeing as how she was playing me the whole time, it's no wonder it didn't work out. I like how the app works. You both answer honestly and then get to compare answers and see how the other really feels about things. It's a great way to work on the weak points of your relationship. For anyone that wants to make things work and you just know they could, this is a good start of doing that

Really great app... The information and guidance is worth way more than the fee... Saved my husband and i from calling it quits during a time where finding a couples councilor wasn't happening... Everyone was booked! Plus respond super quickly to feedback... Bug about not displaying 'other' answers was just fixed in last update...

So far it does seem to be helping with my relationship, allowing us to open up and connect with one another again. I do recommend that the session do get hard at times and just taking some time to awnser honestly. There is other aspects of the app that do have tips that do help as well.

This is a really fun and serious app that brings me and my fiance closer as we live away from each other and physical and emotional stuff 😅 are harder to show. 🙏 Thanks for everything 💞

I'm not getting what I paid for and I'm being asked to pay more money? I paid $49 when I signed up. Now this app telling me to upgrade/ subscribe for $59?? The worst part is their is no one that I can reach out to for immediate assistance 😤

We pay for this and it keeps crashing on my phone, it worked for months but the last few weeks it keeps crashing on the main tab... If i quickly go to another tab it doesnt crash, but then switch back to the main tab and it'll crash again... Please help v2.8.16? That didn't work, it's still crashing.

This is a great experience for couples. I really feel that this tool could help dodge most communication pitfalls. It navigates couples to understand both self and eachother guides you to express yourself removed from the fog of negativity.

The information in the app and everything available, especially the guided exercises for just about everything is beyond worth the price for subscription. We have paid out thousands to our therapist and while she has been amazing through the years we had finally come to the point of talking about divorce... Then I stumbled onto this app... Saved our marriage! We havent had to see our therapist since... that was 5 months ago! Our marriage is stronger than ever! Thank you, y'all are awesome!

It's such a thorough app. It touches on every topic with great tools and information. It's something new every day. Live workshops!!! It definitely is helping my marriage. It really feels like I have an in-person therapist by my side.

Mixed bag. All events aren't on UK time. App is solely set up for couples who are parents with sections completely useless if you're child free and not skippable. It has been somewhat useful in getting us to talk, but if you're UK based all the extra events won't be accessible due to the time difference.

My partner and I have been using the Lasting app for just a few days, after taking a two week break. It has given us the ability to both indirectly and directly communicate our feelings with each other and in a way that we can fit into our schedules. So far, I would rate Lasting as Excellent (5 Stars)!

It's definitely helping our life and communication, when my partner uses it, which is seldom. Helping me alot though.

Definitely a eye opener into what YOU do or don't do as a partner and the ability to see and compare your spouses responses help uncover things we may or may not know (or want to know) about how they feel...we've learned to communicate and listen ALOT better pretty quickly. Love this app its saving my marriage!

So far I like the app and all of the things it offers. I was having trouble at first with the app glitching but I emailed them and they took care of us and made sure my trial wasn't wasted. Great customer service

This app just helps my spouse to abuse me more then I already have, this app is making me want to end my life. There is no middle ground that this app makes it to be it just give one person more power to control the other.
