Awful refund service. Paid for the insurance that would let me refund EVERYTHING if I cancelled within the time limit. I cancelled like 2 days after booking, well within the time limit, and I'm only getting half my money back. Don't bother going with this company as after a bit of research and my own issue, they are known for scamming people out of money that should've been refunded: money they say is non-refundable as its for the hotel, but the hotel doesn't have a no refund policy itself.
Used this for the first time and very disappointed and frustrated. Firstly they put an insurance charge on my booking of £75 at literally the last second as I hit the confirm to pay button. Had a make a phone call to fix this, which they did but a waste of time and shocked at the way it was added to begin with. I made a booking for 6 people including 2 children with 2 different airlines. The invoice doesn't give a breakdown so I've to phone the other 2 airlines now to sort the bill. Wonderful
Rubbish. More than a year waiting for a refund, the flight that cost 80 pounds was cancelled and when they finally answered, I received a voucher from 20 pounds on my next flight. Both the airline and lastminute blaming each other as the responsible for the refund. Avoid
The app is very good and useful for booking flights and finding accommodation.. It also has a lot of options and I find that very useful
Was ok but then when I get a notification that I have a voucher for a refund just sent me email notifying me of availability for cash refund but till right now still not able to do so but I'm guessing it is good but not currently working correctly or customer service isn't working right
Extremely bad experience with this company, flight cancelled the same day of departure, for a tot of around 90€ they are giving to me back 20£, they're offices are based in Switzerland so this way they avoid this way any responsabilities of unbreached of contract wherever you did it, strongly recommend to not buy theirs services.
Asked to change some minor info on one of the flyers tickets, they claim they'd be back to me within 4 days, it's been over a month. Called them and they assured me they'd get to changing it, they haven't. My flight is in a week so looks like I've pissed £500 away.
Not good used the app and then had them to do my check in they se t the boarding passes to the app and cant open them lucky i printed them off to come to the airport otherwise i be struggling
Limited usefulness. Does not show me any more info about my booking than the booking email! No contact facility about booking. I paid for boarding passes, which never arrived. It seems the app STILL thinks I should wait for the boarding pass for the flight I have already taken!
We tried to cancel our flights as we are both vulnerable people. It says the trip is going ahead.... but despite giving plenty of notice... nothing has happened !! We didn't even get our boarding cards so how could we be on the plane ! We have lost every penny we paid.... its despicable behaviour !
Hello, a very practical and competitive application, with a sophisticated and creative design I know it's hard to understand customer service in these tough times, when they ask you to wait for your money. It was hard for me even to believe it. True, sometimes it takes a little longer than usual for a refund but in the end I received my money via bank transfer. Thank you for sticking with your word and I hope conditions are better for us to travel again.
This is the slowest most frustrating app I have ever used. I can only assume the idea is to induce rage in the user so they feel like they need a holiday to get over using it. Everytime you try to filter your results it updates the entire search results every filter you set so you have to wait for it to do that. A better, more convenient system would be to let you select all your filters and THEN run a new search.
The app is useful to see your bookings. But for anything else is more than useless. It's a waste of time. Trying to get help of contact last minute, the links just circle each other. There is a help option link that loads the same page that you clicked from! If anyone figures out the secret algorithm to contact last minute please let me know. All the calls I've made the system hungs up on me whatever the options I press...
Terrible and glitchy app, really difficult to navigate through. Between the app and LM's (lack of)service this was a pretty bad experience overall. Especially watch out for the 'refund by travel voucher' option if you have to make a change or cancel a booking. It might seem nice to support the travel industry at this time however this is made far too easy to select in the app and if LM send you multiple vouchers for one refund (they sent me two vouchers for one booking / payment I'd made) you will be unable to use both of them on your next booking. I've emailed multiple times via the app and had no reply. I've now booked again, spoke to LM in good faith, only to be told that I am definitely limited to using one voucher at a time, so I am now out of pocket.
The company mails keep saying you can fully manage your booking through the app, but you actually can't change or cancel anything and there are no sections where you can directly contact customer service, it simply gives an email, no real benefit or difference from the website. BTW, I paid for the full flex insurance, which stated you could write them but it was useless, they took a long time to reply only to say that I had to call the airlines myself to manage the booking and didn't even mention anything about the voucher stated in the insurance. Not happy with the app neither their service.
If I can rate it as 0... I would.... Worst customer service. Flight changed and 22 hrs delayed. Would like to see how terrible the journey would be. Maybe at the end my family have to quarantine since PCR is not valid anymore..... NEVER AGAIN!
Do not use this service! You are better served with any other booking site. It's incredible hard to manage your booking despite it's meant to be a 'last minute' service. Getting in contact with the support team it's near impossible; and when you buy a package you always have to triple check because they are out to get you. I.e., they will sell you a package arriving at an airport that is more than two hours away from the place you want to visit, making the trip really expensive. Just don't.
I am trying to change or cancel a flight, having a terrible experience, cannot do that till now! They are keeping on switching me between a website page and a telephone no.(being kept on recorded voice hold without them getting my call), where it is not workable for both. I cannot do my cancellation, although I have paid my insurance..I am urging Lastminute to resolve that!
What is rong with this app? Most of the time don't let me go in to see my booking! You have to fix this problem.
I want to reschedule my flight. I had an insurance so that I can do without any charges change my date and time. But what I found is just a scam. They offered me a new ticket almost same price of a new ticket. The reason what they provided was, this the price what we get from the airline company. I asked how it is possible. If you checked the price on your lastminute.de website and ask them how is this much difference possible to reschedule my flight. They didn't have any clear answer.
Horrible app and Company. DON'T BOOK WITH THEM! if anything happens you'll never get any money back! I tried cancelling flights and car rental 6 hours after booking can't get help via the app. Press the (need help?) Button and it just refreshes the page. Tried (Contract us) it says "Please note this contact form is for press and investor relations enquiries only, no other kind of requests will be handled." I tried to download my Invoice and that didn't work either! Avoid, not recommended.
DO NOT BOOK THROUGH THIS COMPANY! I have been trying to change my FLEXIBLE flight for almost two weeks now and I get no response! Why the hell did I get a flexible ticket when there is no way to practically change the return date?? What if I had a family emergency and I had to come back immediately? This is a scandal. There is only one phone number that is available and they redirect you back to the webpage and tell you to wait forever for an email that NEVER COMES. This company has no shame!
Horrible app, horrible company. App simply doesn't work. No other way to contact customer support. No idea how they are still on business.
Really good app I like the option to choose where to go and book a hotel on the app and book a flight right there in the app.No more words can explain how great and big this news is to me
This was my favourite app for searching getaways, now it works to search flights but I need hotels and flights, when selecting this option, the app crashes.. EVERYTIME!!
Very bad experience, customer Service is very bad.I am not able to Fly because of covid positive bt i did not got any help. My 1500 Euro is get wasted because of their bad customer Service. Very bad never ever Use it again.
Absolutely useless. I chose my trip changed the flights, and somehow when it came to paying they changed it back to the original that they offered first. I tried everything but couldn't choose the one I needed. So booked on another app. And I was still lucky and didn't pay for a flight I couldn't have used anyway.
