Later - Schedule for Instagram

Made me go through all these crazy steps to get auto publish including making a Facebook and still couldn't get auto publish. The whole reason I tried going with later instead of loomly is cause I didn't think I'd have to create a Facebook. I'm literally just looking for something simple to post my stuff so i don't have to wake up early in the morning to do it. Why is this so difficult?

What an awful product. Literally useless. I have to continue to reconnect it to my social, because it always disables itself. Now it won't connect at all and I have to manually push posts live from my phone. And on top of that, the push notifications aren't working. *It literally doesn't work from any of my devices.* I've paid for a year that I can't use and there's no customer service no assist in me getting it back working or a refund. Later started off promising. However, it sometimes doesn't notify me at the time I schedule it to post. Sometimes a few minutes after, sometimes longer, and once, it didn't notify me at all. I'm doing a study on marketing analytics at the moment, but because of this, the results have not been true to the assigned time. I have a free account, so can't speak for those who have paid for theirs, but I've just reverted back to doing everything it offers manually instead.

It's a nice app. Fairly easy to use. You cannot add multiple images at once. You have to do one by one. Downfall. The free account I ly allows you 10 posts per month. I had difficulty connecting to my IG acct, but eventually got it to do. Unfortunately, I will have to look for another app, because I need to schedule more than just 10 posts.

Initially wouldnt connect properly with my accounts, so wouldnt auto-post. I had to disconnect my accounts and delete my scheduled posts, reconnect and rescedule to get ot to work. Initially a pain, but app works well once sorted.

I have been emailing support for days with no response. I feel scammed. I was able to sign up and get signed in once. After that I started getting an error message saying their was an "internal server error" and I cannot sign in. Save your money and time setting up an account. It's a scam and now I need to call my credit card company.

This app is not autopost. This send notification only. Basically manual post through later app. Why should i waste my time and energy login to later than click post scheduled pic than login to ig account write again the caption and click post... i rather set alarm and post direct in ig on time. App Total misleading. Pity those paid for this app.. I'm uninstall this app right now

The app is very limited in features. You cannot schedule posts without an image. Very limited access to account settings. You cannot link or disconnect social media accounts. The browser version seems to work wonderfully, however they block access to the website on mobile browsers, and force you to use the app. Very poor business practice, as there are many reasons one might prefer to access it through the browser. I myself have to drive across to my parents place in order to use a desktop.

Every time I get notified about a post for reels I can't download the video from that screen. I'm forced to go and sift through the media (which I can't even sort in any logical way) to find it and download it to post. They also don't have a post to reels feature which makes this even more difficult to accomplish. I have spent the last 25 minutes trying to get this video posted from an app that is supposed to make my life easier and it is in fact making it impossible to accomplish.

Auto-publish was the only reason this app was downloaded but it couldn't even do that. It doesn't help that the monkeys at Facebook can't properly code 3rd-party support alongside the chimpanzees at this app's company. Absolutely use this app if you're looking to never make a single post and get no support like your family already does.

Website great app not so much - notifications don't work and that it's the main reason I needed the app is to manually publish posts and videos but it literally NEVER sends me a notification. Thinking of switching services bc of it

Technically it works, but it is extremely limited. I thought I could use this app on the go to manage my posts and quickly get a preview of my feed, but everything takes so many steps its just too damn frustrating to use. My primary reason for wanting to use later is to quickly select multiple photos and add them to my feed preview. Then I want to be able to reorder and edit my feed preview, and only after I have done that do I want to set up a post schedule. But later works exactly opposite.

Super annoying to use. Every time I click on upload media, it just loads and nothing happens. I logged out, and then back in again, and got one video to load. But then when I went back into the app later in the day, there's no media at all anymore. It shows up fine on my computer, but since I take the photos on my phone it's really annoying to not be able to upload them from there.

No thanks. I had issues that I could see would be a whole thing to try and get past to even use the app. The way Later has people set up is very frustrating and limiting. It didn't even work right on my phone. I couldn't login. Useless. The platform and the design looked great but it itself kept me from being able to even use it. Spent too much time on it. Save your time, try Planoly?

The free version is excellent! I installed and tested so many Scheduling apps - free version, and they had almost nothing to offer. But LATER is amazing! So meany features included in the free version, enough to easily manage an account. Extra features included in the premium version also seem to be very useful. Overall I am very, very pleased with the free version of this app! Good job and thank you.

Great website, terrible app. Later is a great service for managing social media at a free or cheap cost (if you choose to pay). The mobile app does not seem to be working properly. I cannot upload photos or videos. I am also having a problem with endless amount of notifications that will not go away. They say "Later Media Upload" but they are not uploading. They stay at 0%. There seems to not be a way to delete them. Please fix this you guys. 😰🙏 I'd recommend their website for now.

The app lacks most of the basic functionality of the desktop browser version. Scheduling posts from the app is quite difficult, considering if you leave the app whilst writing anything it will be lost when you go back. It also has a lot of trouble with photo ratios, where a photo can't be uploaded at the ratio it's been imported in but it can't offer any guidance as to how to continue (the desktop version will just automatically correct this for you). Not worth the monthly subscription cost.

I've been trying to auto post to Instagram, but the app keeps going into this permission cycle asking for permissions. I grant the permissions, then asks for them again and again. Definitely some kind of bug. Other than that it's worked well. I can still post to Instagram with a notice just fine, but I'm disappointed because I pay for the subscription and expect it to work properly.

Really disappointed. I used to tell everyone about this app but a lot has changed. I no longer get hashtag recommendations and more importantly the automatic post option is no longer available (it'll just copy the caption but I still have to go through Instagram to manually publish a post). They cut back on so much that the free version is now useless. I get that they want to focus on the Premium service but to cut back on the standard service is just sad. "#1 Free Instagram Scheduler" my a**.

I've previously loved using it. But for some reason it makes it impossible to sign in again and tells me that my ig account is connected to an existing later account, where then I can't add my ig account. I've just been trying to get it work for nearly an hour now, which is WAY longer than I would like from a good functioning app. Also, when you click "contact us" it gives an error page. I'm disappointed to say the least.

Signed up for the plan, scheduled posts on desktop, then went to change a post on the app. App fails to connect, asks me to log in, then fails again. The only time I can get it to work is if I uninstall, then reinstall seemingly daily. Which is kind of important since in a pinch I can't access it even in a mobile browser. Posting a review just to alert to a bug- "Later" itself is brilliant, I was on the fence with Planoly and I like this much better.

I scheduled a post today, notificaton was late and when I tried to post it, it wanted me to do everything all over again, crop picture, add hashtags etc. So I didn't finish, and now it says the post was posted, even though it was not. The app is completely useless, if it's only to remind me to post something, I can use calendar for that. Very dissappointing.

I have been subscribed on a paid plan for some time trying it on and off. In theory i like it but in practice... posts to Instagram often don't post rendering all of my scheduling and planning pointless. Posts to FB seem to work without issue. I have resorted to downloading the images on the app to my camera roll and doing it all manually. Customer service is bad, i contacted them multiple times over the last 4 days and have heard nothing back. Now trying to get a refund to take myself for a beer to take the edge off my wasted hours!

I don't know how a service you pay for can have such a poor mobile app interface. Sometimes each panel is blank or won't load data, and it definitely won't let me see the calendar view of my stuff. It won't even download the pictures onto my phone I schedule to post on instagram via the computer. I can't even log out of the app to switch to a different user - tapping the "account settings" button doesn't do anything. I reinstalled several times and restarted my phone and nothing helped.
