This used to be good. Can't use it on a Samsung S21 Ultra though. Keeps saying there's a bug. An earlier version running on Android 8.1 on a different phone (Motorola) still works. App can't keep up with the changes? Was great. Can't use it now. Please fix it.
Edit 2022: upgraded to 5 stars due to lockout being removed. 2021: Great app, easy to use. Like the visuals on the interest period left vs payments made. Would get 5 stars if it did not have the 5 day lockout period when making a bank payment.
Now forced to use Direct Debit or Pay in person or Bpay and incur a $1 processing fee. Used to be able to make a payment without direct debit. Now you are forced to sign up for direct debit to make payments. This is greedy profiteering by a finance company. Adding fees to the interest free payments as well as a monthly account keeping fee. I have learnt my lesson. NEVER trust finance companies. They will change their rules to suit themselves.
Great app. Great product. Lets you keep control of your interest free purchases. Very easy to use. Love the 6 month interest free purchases.
The problem that I have is that I cannot quickly contact, say, by email to nominate a payment recently made to pay off an interest free. Trying to achieve this with your chat operators is an ordeal and phone contact is very difficult and entails comprehension problems with English As A Second Language consultants. There must be a better way.......
Great App! Easy to navigate and outlines each interest free purchase showing the original amount, remaining balance on the purchase and when it expires.
When I first downloaded this app a few years back it was pretty $h!t to be honest. You couldn't make a payment through it, or do anything at all really. Over the years it has come a long way and works similarly to other banking apps. You can control your account to a certain degree (some things still need to be done on the computer, but that's the same with my daily banking app too). Latitude certainly put effort into improving their customer experience with the updates they have made.
I have a loan and my go Mastercard linked. I can update details, direct debit, pay specific amount etc on the Mastercard which is really helpful but I can't do any of that for my loan. It'd be great if I had those features for the loan as well!
App is user friendly. It would be nice not to have to verify my password every month or so, especially since I use biometric login. My fingerprints don't change guys EDIT: March 2022 update has made the app buggy. Can't login at all
the apps fine to a point but doesn't say if your overdue or how much is overdue and it just states whats owing and even that can be confusing is that the total amount owing or is the amount before interest. Apart from that its ok.
The Latitude app is straightforward to use; there is nothing confusing in the layout. Overall, a very well thought out design.
I use this app for a GEM loan. All it shows me is the balance outstanding, no record of any payments I have made, no ability to make a payment, not very helpful at all.
Great that it tells you the amount to pay to avoid interest and how it shows the increments of payments and if you are ahead. Awesome app!
Since updating to the latest version of the app, I'm unable to download statements. Update: developer read my feedback & updated their app to work correctly. Great customer service.
Can't pay by credit card in app. All options just give a form. This isn't hard to do so no reason why it shouldn't already be part of its functionality.
Total waste of time. Downloaded the app, spent 30 minutes trying to create profile and log in without sucess. Uninstalled app.
Useful app. Except when I have to dig out my passwords when the other methods to log in doesn't work. I guess it's to keep me safe...
This company is the worst all foreign Call centres don't know what they are doing compared to the other ones. I made up account and purchase something But for some weird reason they say I have no account doesn't exist even though they approved me for $6000 🤷♂️ I was on the phone for 2 hours being transferred to person to person completely useless company.
Like the fact that you can instantly log into your account to make a payment or check the balance, I have had a few different cc and it might not be the best interest rate but I was given 20 months interest free so can't complain as I will have that payed shortly, thanks latitude, made things a lot easier for myself. But yeah this is a great app to use in conjunction with your credit/debit card. Well done latitude!
Really good app for GE money but...... could do with more information in the loans side of the app - how much interest, payments made etc.
Great app but being locked out of payment methods was a bit frustrating. Thought the app would make instant payments easier but very easy to use.
Very useful.. easy to see balances, including interest free. Clear layout, and good for downloading statements.
Removed existing linked bank account and forcing verification before a payment can be initiated for credit card. Deposited amount has not been processed in over 24 hours, suspect it is done intentionally to catch people out on their cc repayment dates. Bad
Never ever has it linked my account. Customer service say it must be me. On my very commonly used note10+. I call bs on that. Another big institution too big, no accountability or resolution, ever
Horrible design. On the make payment screen. The full outstanding amount is shown as the default payment amount instead of zero which would require user to input the payment amount. And there is no review payment screen. As a result I've accidentally initiated a payment that I can't afford and there is no way of changing our cancelling it. The app seems to design to catch people to make mistake so they can pocket the failed transaction fees. I'll stick to the desktop version. Avoid app.
