Wage cruise missile warfare with players all over the world, from your real world location. Turn up the heat with ballistic nuclear missiles, but spend your funds wisely. Engage the incoming threats in real time with interceptor missiles from your SAM sites.
And when it all gets too much, provided that you can escape the blast radius; RUN!
A friendly group of players and developers awaits you in our Discord group, accessible from within the app, to get your empire up and running.
All that's required is your mobile device, and a username via a simple in-game registration. A unique encrypted key from your device's identification will be used to identify your account. Your real world location will be shared with other players (a "privacy zone" feature exists that allows you to obscure your home, workplace, school or other sensitive locations from the game).
Launch! is a one-of-a-kind, experimental, non-commercial game created and run for fun by volunteers expanding their skills in game development & general internettyness. It is hosted on a tiny server in the middle of the North York Moors, but actually works quite well most of the time. Please bear all this in mind before directing your ire towards the Discord group and/or Play Store ratings!
Cheaters will be detected by intelligent algorithms and banned instantly.
Please exercise common sense and stay safe while playing this game. Don't break the law. Don't play it whilst driving, cycling, extreme ironing or gliding. Don't trespass or behave antisocially.

Amazing. This is a really great game but its very hard to collect ores because they're so far away and as a young man i cant really go far, i wish you guys would add something where you could get like, AI's to go do it for you but it would depend on how much its value is, for example: 1500 = 30 minutes, etc etc.
Very interesting game concept. The variety of missiles and countermeasures available provides a few different strategies. I understand it is designed to be quite a slow game but my main suggestion would be to offer more for the player to do. For example it would it be cool if you could rent out SAM slots or sell prepared missiles to allies.
This is a very fun game. It doesnt take long to learn the basics of playing it, but the strategy to take on the other players is limited only by the player themselves once they learn the basics. There are many great people playing the game that will help advise new players. For the most part the game comunity is made of intelligent and crafty players. So no matter what alliance you form or join will probably have both good team mates and challenging opponents.
So I thought this game was going to be fun and was genuinely excited to start it up. Its a really interesting concept but after playing for a week, the true nature of this game shows. It is impossible to get ahead when starting out, there are immediately bigger players that pummel you and the game gives you no way to advance. When you start, earning money is a hassle, especially when you have players destroying your mines. On top of frustrating gameplay, the UI is virtually unusable and crashes.
Probably one of the best concepts I've seen in a while, this game has alot of strategy based around it is fun to play. There are also no ads which I appreciate. The thing that hooked me to the game is the playerbase (On the discord server) they are friendly and helpful and the admins are great. One thing that new players might not like is that you have to move around physically to place structures. Nice game overall.
This game would be fun with private servers or locally ran servers. It is nearly impossible to have fun when you can barely get started without an entire faction launching 7 nukes at you. The game makes it difficult for new players to have any fun. The game is ran by so many high ranking players that cant be shut down. I couldn't have as much fun as I wanted here.
Overall I'd say this is a good game with the limited time I've played it. Note to anyone thinking about downloading it, you will need to either join up with some people on discord or get your friends into it. I think this is a great concept, just wasn't my kinda thing.
The game has many problems and should be treated as an Early Release type of game. The developer is working on improving it, but as a single dev, this can be hard. My 1 star rating after a conversation with the dev is not justified, but til the game has some significant improvements, ie. a tutorial and possible wiki a 5 star in my opinion isn't justified either. So I'm urging the user to have patience and talk to the dev, but also dev I know you get frustrated, but you gotta roll with it.
Excellent game and community. It takes a little trial and error to learn the fundamentals, but after a week or so you'll know the basics. the community is great, if you download you NEED discord. the discord group is friendly and has a FAQ for the game and we give plenty of advice no matter your play style. the game is being constantly updated and is amazing. im also one of the contributors/techies. were constantly trying to improve the game and love the feedback.
I was looking for DEFCON (maybe it on mobile) but I saw this this thing. I was like ok ok it's almost DEFCON when I open it it's like weird maybe because the green text but when you get to it it's a really a good game I like it when my father launch a missile at me when I'm in school but lucky I got SAM to help me.btw I like your concept but I want to ask in your new update if you are offline and you walking near someone else sentry will you get damage?? Pls reply asap before I go to my dad stry
Impossible to play with all the crashing. It seems like an awesome game, but playing 4 seconds at time just ain't gonna cut it...too bad, if it was playable..it would be an easy 5.
Looked promising at first...but once installed, pretty much all I could do was watch. Admins either unable to help or don't respond to requests for assistance at all. 0 stars if I could...would be a great concept, if it actually worked....smh.
game crashes everytime something happens, like touching a SAM or any action you do. Really frustrates me. would gave it 5 stars if you fix it.
The game is a good game but i have some problems for example when u spawn u have spawn protection yes thats a good thing but when thats over u are instantly being targeted by a whole guild like 10 players all on u and when u want to join a guild u dont get accepted and the part where every 100m u build a building like a SAM site thats kinna lame and fun because when u die all your buildings dies so all that walking is for nothing other than that no problem a solid 3 stars would i recommendmaybe
I'm brand new to the game, I don't have a clue what I'm doing but it sure is fun!!! I have missile sites all over Florida, on real military bases and I'm just waiting to turn my launch keys! Thanks for doing such a great job!!
Fun with lots of strategy and politics. Easy to learn yet hard to master! I'd recommend getting discord and then joining the launch chat. That way you can join an alliance. Look at launch wiki if you need help
This game is good, It is one of a kind. Multiple ways of playing. Make allies or just hit everything. With a lovely discord server. It is one of the best games I ever played. I don't need to play it all day, 10min is enough.
The gameplay is pretty good but it is really unoptimized, granted my phone isn't that great (samsung galaxy a10e) but I would think that an app wouldn't completely freeze when trying to load a few text boxes, but that's literally exactly what happens when I try to target a luna mk1 missile because its blast radius is so big it covers a lot of targets so it has a lot of targets show up which drops my fps to like 1 frame per hour, I cant even get to the target button to fire at it...
