Good for knowing what launches are coming up. But it needs some work. Often, it says liftoff even though the launch had been scrubbed. The countdown clock doesn't automatically refresh. And it's not very easy to navigate.
About 5 / 6 seconds behind the actual launch, but for something to "hold in your hand" while outside standing in real time, it works pretty good!! We like hitting the ▶️ button and watching it on the screen as well!!
Interesting. Sure would be nice if launch information would be updated through some sort of feed in a near realtime basis though. I stood and waited for the launch on 9/26/2020 - nothing. Later found it was scrubbed and rescheduled to 9/27, so at a little past midnight I watched the countdown and watched the skies - nothing - later I found it was scrubbed and rescheduled for the 29th while this app still showed it had launched... Will see what happens on the 29th, while another launches tomorrow
I've used this for while. The opening graphics always annoyed me because they took too long. The information took way too long to update when launch times changed, leading to inaccurate launch listings. Now (10-1-2020) it won't even open.
app keeps crashing, impossible to watch or get any steady information. Please repair the app or take it down. Samsung keeps telling me to put the app to sleep. It stopped working in the middle of the Falcon 9 coverage a few weeks ago, Impossible to watch tonight!
I would give it 0 stars if I could, during last nights launch, the countdown was off, the direction compass was off, and the live feed wouldn't work and kept crashing the app. Deleted the app asap.
I have tried downloading this app several times to my Samsung Galaxy S9 and each time it comes up with a 12 hour difference. There's got to be a problem with my setting somewhere but I can't figure it out but I love the app any help would be appreciated
Does not work immediately after install. Just says cannot play video over and over and over again and you can't get out of it. This is on the brand new Google pixel run the very latest Android. I really wish it actually would start.
Tries to hard to be cool. Horrible UI that results in a total whiff on it's purpose. Acts like some awful flash app from the 2000's.
It is the best and most accurate application founs publicly to be able to watch the live launches, especially if you live in Florida. The can be enjoyed from all Central Florida. This application is a must for visitors and vacationing group!
Accurate and useful! Definitely download if you want to keep track of FL launches!
Never could get video to play. Very confusing count down clock. The layout of days, hours and minutes makes no sense.
Uninstalling until app crash issues are fixed. No point in keeping app that continues to interrupt your screen time OVER & OVER notifying you that it has crashed.
Terrible nothing ever really worked properly except the date of the next launch. It got to the point where it would just constantly lock up. Junk
Used it in the past. Great. Today tried using it and it said app stopped. Tried several times with same results. Deleated app and reinstalled. Did not change results. App will not work now
Not consistent with pushing launch updates although notifications are on. Huge app constantly running in background. Slow at loading is RAM eating app.
Compass points wrong direction .. almost opposite .. i even uninstalled and reinstalled app. still the same.. only best part is gives you notifications for next schedule.
The app keeps stopping! you need to fix this! I tried uninstalling and then reinstalling, still crashes.
The app itself looks beautiful I love the style and layout but for some odd reason it keep vibrating my phone when I locked it I thought it was my phone bugging out but the second I uninstalled it the vibrating stopped. Devs please fix this app
AWESOME APP!! Great visuals! As for the negative comments.... It's an APP PEOPLE, not an official NASA, Boeing, Air Force, SpaceX etc website where you'll get real time updates! I love it!
This app used to wofk great now it crashes all the time, can't even get it to open without crashing. Great job guys!
Compass feature gets stuck in some sort of loop and the app has to be killed. Nice concept but I'll just get info from the webpage.
It was great when it was working. Now all of a sudden it won't even open the app without crashing everytime.
Morning of launch and all this app can do is crash used it many times on days with no launch and works fine. Annoying because I live on the spacecoast
Drains batteries quickly. I only used it a couple minutes after installing. I didn't use it at all on my tablet and it drained that battery too. Uninstalled.
Perfect app for use in seeing the launches and in learning about NASA and individual rockets. Great for children of all ages. VERY ACCURATE AZIMUTH LOCATION FINDER. Have user it for both day and night launches to see the launches.
bummer, when I open it tella me how many minutes to launch but then it never changes, I have to close it and open it over and over to see the time go down. I expected it to be a countdown...
This worked great . Notifying me when launches were due. How ever the last few weeks it won't play the live launches. Bnot sure what's going on. Disappointed
Time is off by 12 hours. I deleted and re-installed it several times but that didn't help. Otherwise this app would be perfect.
The app fails too often to send notifications of a launch or that one is eminent. In several instances, I received the notice minutes AFTER a launch occurred. So what's the point of notifications? Second, the time of launch is widely off. I set an alarm 20 minutes prior to what was published on the scheduled, but the launch occurred 30 minutes before that shown time. The accuracy of the information provided is poor. At this point, why have the app at all?! Better off going on the NASA website.
