Great first experience. My dry cleaning was picked up promptly and delivered on time. The whole process was very easy, and I especially appreciate not having to leave my house as I'm at a higher risk for COVID. The one thing that could have been improved is the availability - the soonest I was able to get my dry cleaning picked up was over a week from the date I booked it. My items came back in great condition, and the stains I feared would be permanent had come out too. Very happy overall.
I thoroughly detest the new app. Unresponsive and difficult to navigate. Bring back the old one, please. UPDATE: Still not as good as the old one. I used to get real-time info on collections, which helped me and the agent. Not any more: so time is wasted while I get my laundry ready. Please bring back the old design and functionality.
I'm not sure what happened to this app. It used to be great. The new app is the buggiest thing I've ever seen. The only way I could make it work was to uninstall it and re install it. I choose an item which miraculously was not available at the time of check out?? Chose a collection time, and I don't know if the app is stuck or if the logistics are stuck but its been saying for 3h that my driver is setting off soon. With 20min to go before being late, I'm not hopeful. I won't be using again.
Put in an order to be picked up. Received a message saying it was running late. Over 2hrs later told my driver was arriving. Then told they couldn't make the collection and to reschedule. No way to speak to customer service as placed in an endless queue. Worst UX I've ever used. Also the first 1* review I've ever left for an app.
Have used this sevice twice now and have been really impressed at ease of use, politeness of the team conducting the pick up and drop off and also the convenience. The dry cleaning quality matched my expectations and would use again! Only wish there wasn't a minimum order for collection as I usually have to wait to bulk wash my items.
Collection was prompt but the delivery deliver service cancelled my return delivery three different times. I had to contact customer service each time to get a new delivery slot and they were very helpful, but the delivery never showed up. What was meant to make my life easier was actually such a time drain and I really wish I had just done the laundry myself! Won't be using this service again.
I only used this app once, using the 'eco route' option, where there is a large delivery window of four hours. I assumed they choose an optimal route between all the eco route customers and let us know. Wrong! I was not notified what order I would be on the route, so I had no idea when they would show up. I got an update after waiting 3.5 hrs that my driver was late even in this four hour window (arrived in 4.5 hrs). A waste of time. Clothes were fine, customer support ignored my concern. Avoid.
Increased prices since taken over zipjet which worked perfectly well. Driver collected early (1st thing in the morning, not great) dropped off over 30mins late. Charged for individual items, no choice given, worked out to be over 3x more than zipjet and more than 2.5 x the original price quoted, poor customer service so still unresolved.
The new app does not work, cannot schedule pickup or delivery. The old app was perfectly fine, never has an issue. They haven't been able to fix this even though I complained several times for months now.
The App is brilliant..!! I don't really use apps as much because they can be a bit complicated at times but Laundrapp is very user friendly and I can navigate my options without having to browse through a lot.
I gave them two stars because they are very convenient and easy to use. However, although they advertise as wash and fold, they don't always fold. Often the clothes comes back folded in half and bunched up. They also do not pair or fold socks and often lose them outright. What frustrates me the most is the amount of clothes that have been destroyed. In the 5 weeks I have used them I have had one pair of pants destroyed, and multiple items came back with white splotches all over them.
The actual laundry experience is excellent....... lovely crisp clean bedding. But collection, delivery and the app are all unreliable and have caused me problems. My laundry was due to be collected Wed between 1pm and 2pm. Not only was there no collection, but no message or email to warn me, and trying to re-book a collection has been a nightmare. I have MS and laundry is a big deal for me as I live alone. Sort it out please!!!
Service sounds good in theory but the app wouldn't allow me to schedule a pickup. The dates just wouldn't load though I tried several times. Went with someone else in the end.
One of the best designed apps I've seen - straight to business, no time wasting. Ordered at 6pm and they picked up that same evening. Can be a bit expensive but if you're lazy like me it's worth it.
Extremely buggy app and over time will destroy every single button on your shirts; only use it because I couldn't find anything better yet in London. On the bright side, the customer service is decent.
Absolutely terrible service. Placed a collection slot for between 9am and 10am. Contacted customer services at 11am when it hadn't arrived and they promised the driver was 10 minutes away. At 11.15am I got a text message saying they had cancelled the collection all together. So I sat at home waiting all morning for nothing. Utterly useless. Avoid.
Poor. I was about to book a 3pm slot I went back onto the app less than ten minutes later and was only able to secure a 10pm slot. The turnaround time is too long, but due to lockdown I have no option other than to use Laundrapp.
Don't post many reviews but felt compelled to here. First time I've used the app and they've cancelled my order twice, then called to cancel and reschedule again, then send an email cancelling for the FOURTH time. The person on the phone said they can't handle demand since the merger. Complete amateurs, don't waste your time
Unreliable and unprofessional service. The pick-up are a no show and the customer is never reachable. They don't even try and make amends to the problem created by them. Would suggest using more professional services out there
I used this app before. Now I am trying to update my card details and it keeps saying cannot update my account since my card is not registered at the post code I stated! What ... you know?! I know pretty well at which post code is registered my ... card! I have tried tp bypass this ... of app by changing the details on the website but no way to do so...no FB page or in-app support... 30 minutes wasted trying to solve this demented card registration issue!
The service itself is good... However the app sends you spam advertisement notifications (vouchers, offers, ...) with no option to disable them. Unwanted ads that cannot be disabled are not ok for a paid-for service
Full of severe bugs since they updated the branding. Not even capable of deducting prepaid credits correctly, resulting in extra charges when youve already paid. Worst app on my phone. Obviously incapable of hiring engineers correctly.
I used this app 3 times. The second time, the driver never showed up to pick up the laundry. The third time, they lost half my order. To their credit, customer service is responsive, but you shouldn't have to use it every time you order.
Bad service. 1st time my mattress was badly washed. They offered me a 2nd one for free which the driver was late and I send them an email, like they ask the customer to do it, saying that it'd be too late for me to receive an order. They sent me then an automatic email response saying the customer support was not available at that time. Well... what should I do then? Surely they rang my door bell at 10.30pm when I need to woke up at 4.30am to go to work! App deleted!!
Great first experience using Laundrapp. We arrived home from holiday to find our washing machine had broken. Laundrapp collected a huge pile of dirty washing on the Monday evening and returned it washed, dried and folded 2 days later. So easy and efficient. Now wondering whether to bother getting a new washing machine .... I could get used to this!
Fair Warning-DO NOT USE THIS APP! Used Zipjet twice-No issues. Then ordered post or during the Laundrapp merger: -Collection due Sept 10 was collected as agreed. -Delivery was due Sept 17 (a long time and major difference to Zipjet but i wasn't in a hurry for them so proceeded) ORDER STILL NOT RECEIVED! The app deleted my order Live chat puts you on hold then after 3 minutes tells you they're too busy and you should call or email To be continued...
Highly efficient and so convenient! Wouldn't dry clean any other way. Always pleased with the results and the service works around my schedule. Nothing to complain about!
Abysmal - their have stopped accepting card payments last week, with last minute emails and paypal option only (yes sure I want yet another third party to get my PII ...). In the meantime, my clothes are kept in hostage, with waiting more than a week for delivery. I have used the service in the past and spends thousand of pounds with regrets. No live chat, sluggish email comms and false promises of deliveries. Zero customer trust, no rewards for fidelity ... totally useless!
Doesn't let me check out - app just says my login expired. Happens every time I try to finalise booking regardless of how long I've been logged in for. Also, what is the point of a login when it doesn't store any of my delivery address details?
I was using this service in London for a year and was 100% satisfied. After their merged with Zipjet last month they delayed an order for a week without any explanation but decided to give them another chance. I have booked a collection and it has now been rescheduled twice. I will not use them again, very disappointed as it was a great customer experience so far
