The camera turns 180° and faces the wall from time to time for some reason. They need to add either a "default" position setting where you can set its default position. Or add a way for you to block certain areas.. and if your going to pay a monthly service you should at least get continuous recording.

It took me a while before I really understood how this app works. I gradually added devices to the app and was able to figure out how to connect with Alexa. Smart light bulbs, electrical outlets, and of course the security cameras. I have 3 echo devices that I use to control everything by voice commands. I really like LA VIEW.

It took forever to even get it to connect to the WiFi, and now that it's connected the video stream won't come up on my phone. It's forever in a loop of "retrieving video stream"

For the most part. These outdoor rotating cameras are pretty good. Clean picture, decent audio and captures everything but a person walking by. But I can catch a cat walking across the yard. I can even catch a bug flying by. But will not capture people correctly. I have changed the sensitivity several times from high to low and back. Might have to switch to a different camera system. Also be nice if it had POE capabilities.

Devs please fix aspect ratio bug on playback! Ever since the last update to the app, when viewing a camera feed in the horizontal aspect ratio, the viewing window does not sit in the middle of the phone screen so the time scrolling bar at the bottom is cut off and inaccessible. It used to be centered and functional prior to the last update and it is affecting all of the Android users in my home, regardless of device or Android update level. Thank you for your help!

TRAAAASH CAMERAS!!!!! The picture is good, but you can't keep the damn cameras on long enough to enjoy and appreciate the clear footage. If it goes offline, that's it!!!! Say goodbye.... it's like 1 thing happens and it's downhill from there. I can't get my camera to reconnect to the wifi and stuff. One work and the other one doesn't. Worked fine for about a month. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Terrible App, trash cameras. Get used to seeing a black screen saying "building andencryption chand"(yes, typo is in the app). If the app goes to the background, you have close the app 3 times to get the video back. Cameras from amazon are trash too. Not way to quickly skim through video. No way to download the video. If you want the video you either have to physically pull the mem. card or record onto your phone as it plays in the app.

Really just needs a fast forward option when reviewing camera footage. The cameras always work and the app is fine, but all it needs is a fast forward option.

Trash camera. Trash app. The notifications stopped working and if they do come in then it's 20/25 minutes after the motion went off. Don't waste your money!

It works 90% of the time. Cameras show offline for periods of time, but I think its a software issue in the cameras and not the app. 1 took 1 start away because the app does not have Samsung DeX support. It will run on DeX, but it is limited. I took another star away due to the time it take for the app to load the video stream. It will often fail the first time and need refreshing. I'm using Samsung Note 20 Ultra.

This app is horrible. It doesn't connect to a channel 95% of the time so I cannot even view anything. Not sure if it is just the app or if the camera itself is horrible. May ask for a refund.

What good is it if the only way to record anything is by having the app running on my phone. I also can't seem to download the program to my laptop so I can monitor my camera's, thereby freeing up my phone for other uses...like talking on my phone. I guess I expected too much for the $90 + SD cards ... I will be returning the product & do some more research. My bad!

Updates make it stop working. For those experiencing getting atuck on establishing encrpted channel and not working, uninstall the app, then go download version 1.1.0 and install this version and will work. Just don't let it update or you will be back to the non-working version again.

It doesn't work properly 😒 and when I'm far away it takes time to process the information. When I'm next to it, it opens up so quickly where is connected at.

What did you do on this last update? It was bad before but now the motion detection goes off every few seconds, and there is NOTHING there!!!! Seriously?

Great camera! "Almost" does what it claims. Bought this outdoor security camera and flood light for my rural home. Install was quick and easy, as was setup. However this camera advertised it has great "human body detection" so that there are less false detections. Well no matter how low I set the detection power evidently shadows are a human body, as well as dogs, cats, raccoons, blowing leaves, a plastic bag, my truck, my roommates car, my garage door opening are all alarm worthy human bodies.

They have some issues with android 12. Contacted support and they gave me an update to fix. Seems to work so far.

Would be better if you could minimize the app and have picture in picture instead of it taking up your whole phone. Sound in one camera is great and in the other it is low. I ordered both together.

I guess its not so bad...once i finally got it connected, it seems to work pretty good. The night vision works great, very clear in complete darkness. The app is very user friendly and easy to use.

It would be great for customers recording 24/7 that you guys put in a notification highlight mark in the shaded timeline so I can slide the timeline directly to the point of interest. Is this possible?

DO NOT WAIST YOUR MONEY PEOPLE !!! Unless you don't mind someone else controlling your devices. Updated my camera and it's now completely useless, internet says camera disabled. I fully charged the only one that does work (wasn't updated) and woke up to camera off line no charge. Worked fully charged before going to sleep. This tells me someone was listening all night. I got ripped off $150.00. The cloud controls them not us. Exposed and ripped off.

Latest update made the app so slow and sluggish. Before I could open the app and view a camera feed is 20 seconds, now it takes a minute for the app to open and another minute to load the camera stream. Wish I could revert updates.

Not a bad camera, I was enjoying it til it was time to pay my Cloud Service fee. I was about to easily pay it but apparently, this company does not want my money!! It kept prompting me to use PayPal, which it's 2022.... Who still uses PayPal?! None the less, I sign up for PayPal and it is telling me my card is not accepted when I push pay. LaView, are you guys still even in business? You have poor, to no customer service! Can someone at LaView tell me why I CAN'T pay you?!

I'd like to be able to better access my alarms from the app, sometimes I'll click on my notification and won't be able to find the motion detection screenshot after I exit the notification. I have to go to playback and then search for the motion because they're not bookmarked in the timeline that is too poorly labeled and so small that I can't see the timeline by minutes at all. Would also be nice if it detected familiar faces but that's not a necessity. It's a good app but could be better.

Horrible app. sometimes it takes forever to load the feed, and that's if it loads it. Although you can jump around to what ever time you wanna see While watching playback you can't fast forward. You have to watch it in real time. And once you jump to a specific time about 6 times it just sits there and loads and you have to x out and start over. If something just happened that you want to watch you have to wait like 5m for playback. Cameras randomly disconnect and fail

Stays on even during the weekends even though I set the setting to not do that. Good service piss poor software.

Privacy is key this is the reason for purchasing this and now I am not so much comfortable using these. I'll be taken all of them down and finding something with more security. I am thankful for seeing someone else's review and reading the privacy policy. As I was to excited to know my kids were safe when I got them and set them up to even read it.

Great cameras and app is pretty clean, I only knocked it down a star because the app should have the option of dark mode.

The doorbell unit we got is easy to set up and just as easy to use. My wife loves when I bring it inside to charge. Communication is clear and there are a lot of decent options to personalize to our needs. Will definitely buy another

No remote connection to the base station or the camera once you are away from your local connection! Lack of option for you to change password to the base station or the camera, so I don't know how secure are these N20 cameras are.
