Lawn Buddy On-Demand Lawn Care

Maybe it's a learning curve, but my first experience has been nothing but a hassle. Communication between you and the mower are difficult, which isn't a fault of the app but a fault in the business plan. Time frames aren't given, and every day since booking, the accepted date has changed. You can't cancel services through the app, and I was told my appointment was canceled but the app does not reflect this. Not a fan. Would not recommend in the future.

Great service, but app needs work. No way to cancel or modify requests. No way to change payment method after initial set up. Service date requested is approximate, not exact. If the assigned provider decides to come earlier, they can. If your gate is locked on that day, they can choose not to come back to do the back and you are charged the full amount. Also, the should be an option to leave a tip and leave provider reviews.

the app does not allow me to cancel requests.. as the client, if a provider claims your request but doesn't get to it, it locks your request. I should be able to decline requests if they can't get to it but accepts the request. If they can't get to it when requested, we should be able to drop them. it's my time and money they playing games with.

The app doesn't use PayPal. The app doesn't allow you to review your account with the provider and after you get done making a payment you can't print the invoice receipt with taking a snapshot first. There should be the ability to review the account payments and print receipts.

BEWARE: The service providers listed are not legit businesses and you'll find no information or trail about any of them. This serves as a middle platform to be scammed. My card was charged and no one ever showed up to cut the lawn. I cancelled the service and my card is still being charged! A provider even included a picture of my home on the invoice to show that the lawn had been mowed, except the picture was well cropped and not what my home now looks like. Probably obtained from Google maps.

I was informed i was supposed to be able to schedule with my mowing provider and the is no option to choose them. I even checked my provider in the selection screen This app is not user friendly. I can only pay my bill with it.

this app does not allow 2 way communication, nor does it work correctly. it does not allow you to cancel an order after you have placed it if something happens.

I have used this service and app for years and highly recommend it. Nothing better than being on vacation and being able to schedule a lawn mowing. Great service!

App needs a lot of improvement before I could rely on it as a consumer.

This and the pc version just doesn't have or work for my Rocky's lawn care needs at this time so I'm trying out others.

Ya'll ain't ready for prime time. I've given it two chances now. The first time, they showed up two days late and I had already mowed most of it myself. They also left it long, you couldn't even tell it had been mowed. The second time they just didn't bother showing up at all. I take it back. They did show up the 2nd time. Just now, a week and a half late. My fiancee happened to be home, but they didn't bother doing the back yard even though she put the dog in. Of course, if they had shown up as scheduled, it wouldn't have been an issue. The yard didn't even need mowing now. I already took care of it. No way I should be charged for this ... I cant even call it service.

This is such a great service. Had to be out of town and didnt make time to mow our yard. I scheduled a time in the app and an email was sent once one of the lawn services picked up my job. Admittedly the first lawn service dropped my job but lawn buddy quickly reassigned my yard to another service and they came out to finish the job within the next day or so. For people with a busy schedule or have to be out of town a lot this app is your best friend.

Lawn Buddy is a HUGE wait off my back when I need my Lawn mowed! I especially love the new reacurring scheduling set up with my provider. No more worries about my Landscape & Lawn.

Provider never showed up for service. Can't seem to cancel either.

This is NOT how a trust economy works. It is biased toward providers, for whom, there are no ratings or reviews. It adds no value for the client. The user still has to call by phone, so what is the point?

Great concept but difficult to find/connect with preferred provider. Appears to be delay between provider portal and mobile app. On a positive note, you can offer an online payment solution for your services. Use with caution and be sure to follow up with provider/customers.

What a waist of time. After setup and reg. Nothing in my area and I live close to the city so its not like I live in the woods. Great idea if they advertised it. And yes i see its been on NBC and few ohers but that is. Not going to do much for one time.
