LawnStarter for Providers

I love this app it allows me to be my own boss.. an to me there is no better filling . The only complaint I have . Is not being able to alter the calendar or add our own costumers to it.. other than that this app has literally gave me a purpose.. I'm all in an I am reliable an always ready to meet new people... This app is perfect for me or anyone trying to do something on there own.. thanks

PROS: Great app so far!! Very little issues, and customer support is superb! Payout is spot on and numbers are on point. Customer communication via text through app and calender schedule is very helpful. They should give you access to customer phone number, but I understand privacy concerns. Get get it direct from customer if needed. CONS: There is not time framing avaliable via the app, and customer base is low in my area. "Serviceable area" is about 10mi radius. No options to extend.

It's good for the most part However, the payouts are scheduled as too low, they need to start at a higher rate and be competitive that is due to a lot of these properties look good on Google maps when they overview it but that generally not the case. Or based on what the client states isn't generally the correct case either, I have found that most of these clients also don't know the dimensions and then compliant when we don't do certain things. Also need more weekly opportunities vs bi-weekly.

It was a decent app. But I dealt with double booked properties, properties that canceled service but wasn't shown as such on app, under pricing for larger properties, and constantly needing to call and ask representative why I'm not seeing available jobs. I'm sure I should be seeing work by now and send still nothing. And on top of that the upgrade the did is more confusing than the initial version when it comes to booking properties you want to service.

Sub Par App. Decent enough for general landscaping, but payouts are far too low, app crashes constantly and they'll penalize you for it, and although they say they provide winter services such as snow removal and Xmas light installation, I've used this app for 3 years now and haven't seen a single job come thru for snow removal or light installation. This app essentially dies during the winter months. Decent during spring and summer, but have a backup for the winter cause you'll get nothing.

As a provider that's maintained a 97 percentage rating. And it all sudden drops to 80 due to their "won't effect your score" suggested reschedule. I work very hard to make sure my customers are happy. But support with this service is nightmare. They never understand your you much less the problem. have been rude, lied to me, and shown they do not appreciate my service. app schedules clients that have canceled service and then lowers your rating for rescheduling due to sever weather.

This is a great app with excellent support, I've been with them since basically there launch, I'm highly rated and have excellent reviews, which they manage for me. There is room for improvement in that it would be a nice feature to add on and instantly authorize additional funds. I'm always amazed at the effort they put in when resolving any issues I have, the pay is good, considering they take allot less then a secretary salary! Lol -- plenty of work out here! I welcome the compatition

It's a great app for anyone who is serious about starting a lawn care business or who has one already and either want to expand it or simply just want to get a couple extra clients for your routes. I 100% recommend the LAWNSTARTER app. It is convinient, easy and, very flexible. Other apps have too much commitment. With Lawnstarter, that is not a problem at all. Thier customer service is very easy to use and connect too. They have a unique response time and are very friendly. Highly recommend!

I like the app very much. Although it could provide more detail on the properties you work on. Thats really the only downfall. Did a property today that was a nightmare and took so freaking long I was unable to get to my last property. Yet I wasnt told how bad it was. Outside of that, provider service when you call is prompt and speaks english without accents. All in all its pretty decent. The better work you do the faster they give you more properties. Work hard and well and it works.

For sake of space, they provide a great network to add to your existing schedules. It is refreshing to see a "Uber" for lawn care, and I don't think the cut is outrageous. But some of these cuts are grossly underpriced, many times we walk in not truly knowing the situation. Customer support is absolutely horrible to deal with. The people are fine, but the long hold times, disconnects after waiting, multiple app problems it definitely hurt the score. Good overall but needs alot of improvements.

This app is fantastic. Very easy to use, navigate, and make money. The app allows you to schedule multiple jobs in a day and reschedule if anything comes up. It has a messaging feature which connects you directly to your customers. It has a map feature and actually shows you most jobs from a birds eye view before you claim them which is another awesome feature. Oh and there's NO ADS. Strictly lawn care jobs and money. Great app.

Great app. Only problem i have and maybe others is it wont show your map when youre trying to see your route. You have to manually minimize it just to zoom in. Very annoying. Good App though.

New messages do not show up without excessively having to exit and re-enter mailbox; jobs that take more than one visit to complete are reassigned without regard for work already performed despite coordinating with the support personnel. The app is a decent way to base or supplement a landscaping business, but be aware of the services upcharge on services and the payout as all jobs are not always as straight forward as they appear in the app's jobs offered details.

Don't waste your time with this company. Payouts are low and yards are trash. You get the worst of the worst because of the cheap prices. You can get much better cleints on your own.

I've had this app for a couple days and have not been able to accept any jobs because it crashes every single time. hopefully they get it fixed with an update

Horrible issues lately. Support cant speak or understand english. Schedule constantly messed up and doesnt update properly. Tired of going places that have tried to cancel and are mad ive shown up.

This is getting better.there are still a few issues but it is getting better. Everything has changed. I can't find how the clients have rated me. I can't get to things quickly. Everything is a lot harder. Also I have to do a lot more responding to lawnstarter. Wanting to know if I am going to reschedule or not 2 days before the job. It depends on the weather the day of the job. Not 2 days early. It isn't half as easy as it was last year and my status shows that.

LAWNSTARTER is a great ground based app. This is my second time around after a year set-back. I called LAWNSTARTER got a tech and told them about my set-back and they paused my account. Then when I had regained my footing LAWNSTARTER put me right back in the race. I love the way LAWNSTARTER has jobs that are close to each other. Other apps tend to throw a bunch of jobs up from all over the place and have you grabbing jobs, quickly, without checking the location of the job.

I've gotten several recurring jobs through them. The pay is not very consistent, sometimes it makes sense and sometimes it doesn't. They have GREAT customer service though, which is not something I can say about any other provider app. Overall I recommend for someone who is looking to pick up some extra work.

Downloaded app and took the time to create a profile. App continues to tell me that I'm 11th in line to become eligible to bid. Yet I keep getting texts, emails and notifications for properties available for bid. It seems incredibly stupid that the app can't even function in its most basic form. Don't waste your time.

I installed this app to pick up some extra business for the summer and thought it might be good. I've had this app installed for about 2 months and the yards are all very low payout and no way to unsubscribe from the app. I've requested to stop receiving text alerts for new job postings multiple times and I'm still getting them. not worth my time and is really annoying that I am still getting messages.

The work is good, pay not bad. If a customer has an issue they refund without even a photo. Technically meaning every customer could complain and get a $10 mow. This takes the " customer is always right" to a stupid level . I totally agree if there actually is a problem and they don't take it out of the service providers account but its the point.

On 6/30/19 I received 9 different message about available work when I clicked on each link they were already unavailable. If the system is not fair for everyone and the pay out is lower than it should be what is the purpose. I have been on this app two years and have not been able to pick up any customers. I do not believe this app is designed with the provider's success in mind.

Did my first yard yesterday and app is totally legit. Customer was great and was even able to give me a $20 tip! Not sure if payment transferred to my bank yet and there is no way to find out if payment was sent yet. If I were to make any suggestions it would be to provide better info on the jobs and pictures. The 1st time completion stat is horrible. I got 5 new clients all canceled before first service. Giving me a 38% through no fault of my own. The person before me probably paoched them. The entire stat system is b.s. and needs to be fixed. Lawn doesn't need to be mowed pick "hasn't grown" it hurts stats if mow customer rates bad, hurts stats. Same day job offer, take it hurt stats. This company has alot of hurt. Inflation they don't care thats on you to beg for a few more dollars.

Great app so far its really been helpful with my startup. Prices are low thats for sure and the properties are in poor condition so the time to do a quality job is a bit much for a good turnaround, but I can live it. If you could get the prices up it would be a outstanding app.

This app is awesome really great for landscapers looking to grow or even start a landscaping job! They give you jobs and the app has an inbox calendar and maps. You get paid direct deposit weekly get tips and see your performance score and customer reviews all right on the app. There's a support section and they are always quick to respond. The only issue is the scheduling and communication could be improved a bit to avoid minor issues but overall I absolutely love lawn starter!!

App is slow. At times it will just freeze and loose all my progress/ pictures. Multiple payment issues. Multiple reports of long grass and not being paid what is owed to me. Tried to contact support several times. For payment issues. For issues with the app, issues with coustmers. Lawn starter litterly has noone working coustmer service. They don't payout what the job is really worth. They don't payout on long grass. They take money off your tips. It's a scam straight up. I can't post more.

Good app but alot of the jobs are underbid

Overall very easy to use. Use it to add to/fill my existing routes. Only reason Im giving it a 4 instead of 5 star review is no matter how many times I change and save my availability to NOT working Saturdays and Sundays it still constantly sends my work for those days and never seems to really save my availability changes, more annoying than anything.
