Downloaded to use on an National Geographic article. I scanned the image as stated in the magazine, but the app did not recognize it. tried several different times with different lighting, but it never worked. Uninstalled
As others have said... utterly useless. I wanted it for studying but every scan attempted found nothing - even under the bright lights of supermarket cafe - just in case someone says it's insufficient lighting. Clearly nobody cares enough to read reviews and sort it out. Unfortunately there's no negative score option.
I downloaded this app and it did not do anything......just kept scanning with nothing coming up.....so much for enhancing my catalog experience! I will remove this app instantly and stick with using the AVO Insights App for all my A.R. experiences as it works great everytime!
On wifi or 4G, it just keeps saying no network connection on a Layar photo in Nat Geo magazine which directed me to install this. I rebooted, reinstalled, same problem, but somehow i have network for all my other apps. Very disappointed... and no updates since 2016 makes me think they have given up.
Looks cool and seems simple of it would work. Couldn't get the app to recognize it's own logo on the document. Hope the client only paid for the Basic plan.
Absaloutly pointless, was reading with my daughter when we noticed we could download this app to enhance the pages. Does not recognize a single page from any book with the scan logo. What is the point in this app????? Do not download and waste your time
Pretty much useless - constantly tells me I have no network connection, while all my other apps can access the internet, via wifi or mobile data.
Attempting to set up a proof of concept via this app and the online creator, worked for a while, paid for upgrade, does not work now and no response to any message to get it sorted. Not a company I can do business with.
Won't work. I'm on OnePlus 6T and no layers work, they all say an error occurred. Seeing as this app is all about Layers it makes it redundant
Easy to use, and amazing to watch a still picture turn into a moving picture with sound. WOW!! Stunning
Disappointing and buggy. The app mentions that I have no network connection. That is definitely not the case. Uninstalled.
just downloaded this to use on the cover of a magazine. keeps saying "no network connection". welp, makes it useless, so uninstalling it.
Well I scanned some paintings in the museum and they were all very messed up. I loved it. 😂
doesnt work even though the logo for it is clearly on the photo and it scans over it. a waste of time even downloading.. great concept rubbish delievery.. try again 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽
They've abandoned ship, yet they've double their prices. Don't get scammed, steer clear of Layar!

app fails and do fail to scan. once used to be a great one.
I have prob with connection. my phone already connected to usable wifi but it doesnt work.
App is useless, looks like developers have bailed and cut off the back end. This app should be removed from Google Play.

I downloaded the app for a Titanic book I have and it says I can use this app. it says I need connection to the internet for it, but the Thu g is, I do have connection to the internet, but the app won't work.

completely useless! I installed the app because a catalog I got in the mail, said to install it and scan the page. The results were "Nothing Found". Tried other pages with the same results. In the app menu, I clicked "What can I scan" this resulted in a blank page. Uninstalled!
