LBC Radio App

While the force stop issue has been rectified the issue I have with this app is that even with full bars of 4g+ it cuts out every few minutes. Though this only ever happens after 1000. Presumably far fewer people tune to lbc in the mornings and the servers are overwhelmed by traffic once a sane person is allowed space to talk.

Doesn't function well after you've paused an episode and want to return to it using the pop-up playback controls on Android. When I hit the play icon, it does nothing. Then have to go back in to the relevant station, find the episode and press play there - bit inconvenient. The app itself also takes a while to start up I've found. All in all, needs some more work. Good selection of stations though.

Terrible, fails to run, tells me it is installed then when selected the app just displays a picture and nothing happens. Tried reinstalling the app but still no success. This software has to be overhauled or completely rewritten.

Unfortunately the app has never been great. You seem to fix one instability only to introduce another. Currently the app quite often either shows a black screen and a continuous spinning circle. Or it displays the play tangle button for a podcast, but won't respond to it been touched. I am forever force stopping the app and clearing it's cache in an effort to get it working.

Was good but now I can't find my downloads just shows every show for the podcast I like. I have to forcefully shut the app down as it is constantly running in the back ground. When the downloads was showing sometimes they would just disappear and you would have to pay for the download again with your data or wi-fi

Hi I'm enjoying the app, the only issue is the automatic portrait mode even on a tablet which is a pain.

Global, what have you done to the app? It used to work perfectly fine, now I've updated, it's incredibly slow and laggy at loading. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Please fix. Is it too resource heavy? 🤔 I love the shows though. 😎👍

App doesn't work at all. Save your time. You'll see "preparing audio" endlessly. I left it open to see if it would play over night. Still prepping audio. Delete it and start again seems like food adventure

What a dragggggggggg! Takes forever to load and install. Keeps cutting of and freezing randomly.

Pauses every 30 seconds whilst listening or turns off completely, unbelievably frustrating.

After a certain amount of time, it stops...I have uninstalled and reinstalled....makes no difference..very disappointed!!

App is absolute rubbish. Glad to see I'm not the only one that has to keep uninstalling as it keeps crashing. What has happened? Please sort it out as its getting tedious. Jan 2022 , don't know how many times I have now had to uninstall and reinstall this app. Love the station, hate the app.

Recently the app keeps stopping and 'preparing audio' is shown, whilst trying to play. Have to close down and re-open to play for a short period and continue stopping.

Terrible app. Keeps crashing, removes downloads and stops playing at random.

January, 2022Here we go again..already been glitching for over a week, randomly cutting off ..Now,since yesterday.. nothing. Just getting a circle spinning around yhe play/ stop button..Checked all other radio stations within app/ unistalled .. Same thing.. looks like back to my portable DAB...

I love LBC but unfortunately I have to uninstall and reinstall this app frequently as it will randomly start playing in the middle of a phone call and won't stop even if you go into the app and press the stop button. This has been an ongoing bug that needs fixing ASAP. I see from other reviews that this isn't just a unique experience to me. Please fix this problem.

This is an awful app. Randomly cuts out mid programme, then you can't switch it off. This is my last attempt to use it. If not improved I'm uninstalling.

Long time user. Difficulties signing in. Difficulties with catch up - especially downloads. Have tried reboots, clearing app cache and app data. Does not work.
