The app does the job, however, a few things could be improved. First, the interface for setting options is a total mess! It should be reworked. Second, the mouse emulation is very inconvenient. The whole idea of mouse pad is wrong. If you want a pad, then make it similar in operation to a normal touchpad, not like it is done now. Or get rid of it and fix the mouse emulation inside the main window.
Awesome app! I like it! The only thing that I'm having trouble is settimg up the adapter to make the interndt work on Windows NT 4.0. I have the ne2k driver installed on the OS, but it doesn't seem to work. Please help me, if possible. Note #1: Yes, Host Network is activated, but it has no effect. BTW, I'm using the ne2k ISA adapter option.
It was good while it lasted, but the thing stopped opening completely. It would show a black screen for 2 seconds then crashed No error. The last thing I tried to do was change the IPS. I had turned it down to see whether it would affect performance, when I turned it up again it wouldn't open anymore. It was working fine running Windows xp for days, but its now gone. Amazing concept, but I'm not going through the hassle of hours of installation for a second time only to risk losing it again.
Works great! I imaged my old Windows 2000 CD, installed it on lBochs, and used Internet Explorer to browse websites on my phone. I also installed DirectX and played some old games. Of course it runs slow; it has to convert x86 to ARM. My only wish is that it had support for LAN and USB devices. Other than that, this is really great.
You fixes lots of performance related bugs that the native emulator like Windows binaries can't. Needs support for editing some legacy keywords like "meg" for "memory". If it crashes too much, we should give user a fail safe method to gain access to the app without deleting app data. Or just not launching the actual vm and let user choose what to do next. Also NAT networking doesn't work on Android 11. UX is kinda confusing and old, but i guess it fits the Android 2 UI with icon pack aesthetics.
Always crashes without any error message. Sometimes you can reach situation when you can not even open to change settings. So only clear data will help, which lead to lost every images... XP hirens boot works, but NT4.0 crashes due boot
Ive got fallout 1 running in windows 95 with this app on my phone! Its a little slow when too much is goin on and im still trying to figure out how to get the sound to stop stuttering, but anything thats not 100% on my end is purely user failure. Its really cool having a tool like this and i think its great. A+
I tried limbo pc emulator to run windows 95 and it did a horrible job. However, IBOCH emulator is excellent and runs almost perfectly. I was able to play some old games I use to play as a kid, such as Sid Meiers Gettysburg and Intersate 76. The sound and gameplay is a bit laggy, I figured it's just the my phone processor computing games it was never suppose to. Excellent work though !
This app is super useful. It makes Windows XP run really well on my Galaxy S8. also, physical mouse support is awesome. Before, physical mouse support was subpar. Keep in mind, your mileage may vary depending on android version and model of phone, as this was done with a Galaxy S8 running Android Pie
My mistake, i set the CPU ips to the highest, because i wanted a fast virtual machine, this caused the problems, but i rather set it 20 this make the videos/sounds working good in games like fallout 2, rpg maker games, visual novels, master of orion 2 under windows 98 SE.
Has some interesting results compared to Limbo PC. This one is slightly faster and can do more, but has issues with overheating and getting some OSes up and running.. Hopefully, that'll be fixed. However, I like it a lot.
This looks amazing, as with IDosBox. Would love a Kindle fire version of this. I'm having trouble on my Huawei P Smart Android P (9) None of the dos apps I try can detect a sound card, and no manual settings for sound works. I've tried bios settings, cpu settings etc.. had anybody else had this problem? Otherwise looks very exciting!
Installed dos 6.22, then windows 95 and finally upgraded to windows 98. Pretty happy with the results! Issues with networking in windows, but i figure i'll get there. I would suggest the ability to use a keyboard to be nice like the one on my blackberry key 2. Im not sure why I can type but my alt characters like period, colon, shift, do not work.
I like the Idea but failing so far to install ReactOS, fails to find harddisk but does work with LiveCD iso but very slow on default settings. I want to try to run Gazillionaire on a Android phone or tablet - It is now available on Steam. It would be good idea to have an option to download a presetup version of ReactOS as a optional download with a known working version & the latest nightly for experienced user's.
Excellent, been using it for a few years and love it. Same with the (newly abandoned by the second developer/s now) Limbo Qemu emulator. With the Google phallus being shoved ever deeper into Android's sphincter, emulators like these are becoming an increasingly essential lifeline for those of us who took the term 'smartphone' at face value and ditched our occasionly used PC in favour of a more convenient pocket device. Without LBochs (&Limbo) Symbian would be looking quite attractive again.
Unfortunately the mouse support isn't working in any operating system (mouse gets stuck in the middle of the screen or jerks around uncontrollably) and you can only safe one configuration at a time. Too bad, was very promising :-(
Its a very good app for emulation! But I sometimes I get this issue when I try to start the app it says, "app install error can't start app" but reinstalling it fixes that issue. So... Let's just hope this app doesn't get taken down.
Okay, this is the only emulator that could go as far as booting from cd, but theres some issues, i cant figure out how to install windows, i tried xp but Something always inturrupts the setup like the app closes or windows crashes and on 95/98 i just get a constant hard disk error, plz tell me hoe to fix this! Im still figuring it out but i will love your help
Works great. I installed windows xp then got it connected to the internet through my phone (galaxy note 20 ultra). Next I will be installing games. Thank you very much to the developers.
The fact that Windows xp runs usable is amazing. But the app needs it's permissions fixed. It can't see isos unless they are in the lbochs android/data folder
Cannot install windows in this app. Provided is only a floppy drive with MSDOS and few dos basic files. Can't load Windows in this drive as you won't be able to load any existing files from your android device. Perhaps some basic help will change everything.
Works as expected, but i only found it stable with windows XP. Also, running a bluetooh keyboard crashes it. Not useful during installation...
Spent forever configuring and perfecting this, and it worked great, but the latest update seems to have completely broken it. All my content was seemingly deleted.
Impressive. Could be all sorts of uses if it networked. Win 95 runs fine but I've so far failed to network it. bochs documentation quite brief. Despite Host mode enabled after numerous restarts no DHCP found by windows.
I love this application!I just install windows 7 on it and it works like a normal pc! I rate this 5 stars!! I also had the internet and install FireFox. Sometimes it closes by him self. But it works perfectly! I even emulated windows 10, windows 7, windows xp, windows 95, windows 98.I rated this 10 stars!Specially thanks to Movilandroide to help me install windows in bochs and ibochs
this is an awesome app. I love it just wish it had x64 bit. runs xp no problem now setting up vista and later windows 7. hope your still working on this because it's the best one and user friendly I've found thus far.
just needed to choose the right bios, now i can run the W2K kinda slow, but in working order. setting IPS over the limit makes it go to negative values, but that's just a minor bug.
Still a little rough around the edges, however it works! I'm running Windows XP on my OnePlus 7 pro. Like the developer indicates on the description, it only runs on a single core of the processor therefore it cannot take full advantage of the processor. If you want to get the network adapter working, yes, you have to go into the settings and select host for internet. In addition to this, you have to disconnect your phone from WiFi and run from data. To the developer: THANK YOU!
