LCARS LAUNCHER
Icons for your apps are converted to monochrome, to fit into the LCARS-style as seen in Star Trek TNG/VOY and some of DS9. When making a contact you can pick between various COMM badge icons.It supports widgets and Live Wallpapers, folders, contacts, regular shortcuts so far and I plan to do more (specifically a toggles sliding bar)
The LCARS UI and Dialer are not required to use this launcher, but the launcher will work better with them.The UI can be used to replace the Android keyboard and web browser while within the launcher itself (not other apps) and the Dialer is used to select contacts (otherwise you have to type the name/number in manually when making a contact)

Best trek app ever it's so accurate
Thank you so much for your excellent work and keeping Star Trek alive in our hearts. A question please; my Galaxy Tablet when I go to search my apps and I have it turned horizontally the app screen shows up in the vertical position, is there any way to correct this?

I kept getting stuck at some menu with tiny words. I could tell allot of love is put into this, but its nowhere near ready for release, let alone charging money for it as if it were finished. Why not start a kickstarter campaign instead and ask for donations? For charging average app price for an unfinished app, I gave it two stars. Then I brought it down to one Star because its not widget friendly. Or at least not at first try. Don't let this put you down. Keep working on it. Make it open source, get help.
I like that you can install as any buttons as you like but I don't like that I have restart my phone everytime I put apps on or do anything to it if you can fix this problem it would then get a higher rating

Loved the idea but it locked up my phone and tablet
For some reason this does not completely work on my droid turbo. The docking bay area shown on the screenshots above does not appear and instead I have a black bar with three white dots in the middle. This is preventing me from creating shortcuts, adding new pages, etc. Any help would be great.

Looks great runs pretty well, some slowness here and there but those are things easily fixed. Main problem is the divider bar on the home screen, when you try to move it in its settings it will not move up or down and causes any widgets on screen to move instead. This forced my weather widget behind the divider and i couldn't get to it for awhile. You should look into that. Updated- I cannot delete or add anything to folders on the home screen.
What I'd like is to navigate my phone as if it were an lcars system. Meaning, all actions (press, etc.) would act like an lcars system. A computer voice would be pervasive, eg. message alert, incoming, loading app, etc. Basically turn my phone into a starfleet device. ;) Not sure if this is the plan so if not, then no worries.
Now if only it could voice text ;)
The only launcher I have ever bought. It is worth buying the LCAR UI for the widgets and live wallpapers. Together this launcher and the UI cost $4 that is as much as NOVA launcher prime. This launcher works great on my s3 but on my Galaxy Note 10.1 it doesn't work as well or as likable this is getting better though. The developer is always adding and fixing things.
Fascinating. Now broken on Galaxy tab 4. Won't draw icons or return to home screen without errors. Too bad as I was using it all the time. Hopefully they can fix it.
Like I offend said, I love my Star Trek apps, so there are better apps than other, you can't make great apps , without mistake
A fully interactive launcher with every app and widget you add to your Lcars home screen ,or as many pages as you like , with all your events , calendars , full Lcars weather graphics the works .. this app developer has finally done it ... a fully working interactive Lcars computer system with all the sounds and alerts of the original Lcars from the shows. Fantastic app especially when you link it to the Lcars UI and the Lcars dialler .... Fantastic job ... the best anywhere , Brilliant !! Thankyou :-)
Another must have for the trekkie. Wish though the weather widget does not work most of the time but that may be a part of the UI. I do wish the screens would scroll all the way. When I swipe to go to the next screen, it only goes about half way and you have to keep swiping to align it. That is workable but very annoying. Unless I'm missing some setting. Also to be able to continually scroll would be nice too in other words when you get to the last screen and you swipe left, it goes back to the first
Simply a must for any Trek fan, developer adds funtionality to it frequently, and its very stable, I love it :-)
Fantastic. Makes everyone have a portable LCARS system to contact the Enterprise when needed. :)
This one should be a real fan favorite with excellent icons and a great overlay. However when I was playing with the graphics settings and moved the barrier up I accidentally moved some icons behind the banner and can't get them out. EDIT: There was an error and they were removed and needed to be placed again so problem solved itself.
This theme is beautiful and works great. My phone was having some technical issues and the app kept quitting. The developer emailed me back immediately and was incredibly patient and helpful and fixed the problem (which turned out to be my phone, not the app). Thanks again. I highly recommend this app. It's LCARS done right! GV
I love this app! It run smoothly and looks beautifully like the TNG interface. My only criticisms would be that the sounds are randomized. The sounds also don't specifically assign to your tablet/phone keyboard/internal apps like file explorers or typing in terminal. Really though, that's just a cosmetic gripe about a great app.
I dont understand it, but I'm a moron regarding tech, I can barely use my phone w/o these apps.
I installed LCARS Launcher on a new LGG2. I couldn't run the messaging app from LCARS, so I tried to close the launcher. Now the phone is repeatedly reporting an error and I can't run the regular OS. I expected some quirks but not being able to exit the launcher without crashing the phone is pretty terrible. I've tried rebooting the phone multiple times and will probably end up doing a factory reset- seriously, I've rebooted about 20 times. Terrible unreliable program. Do not purchase.
Works pretty flawlessly on my Tab-E... And not so great on my Galaxy S8. I cant seem to create shortcuts for about 33% of my apps, and the Dial-er wont work with the S8. Other than that, it's extremely well done. Very Nice! will give 5* if this gets fixed :)
