Update May 14th: The May 11th update you did on the fixed the connection issue to my wifi. It still doesnt pick up voltage like previous version. Thanks! Updating star rating to 4 stars. Just used the newest version of this app. In order to connect to wifi I have to first open the app and them turn on wifi. If the wifi is on already and then you open the app it just spins like it can't connect. Prior to this update it worked perfect for me.
This app needs dark mode. The white background is garish and painful to the eyes. This app also needs better logic to determine when the RV is in motion. We are regularly locked out of all devices on the app when the RV is parked and disconnected from the tow vehicle. In the past we used the app to run slides from outside the RV. This is no longer possible because the app always thinks the RV is moving. Versions of the app prior to the white background update did not have this problem. Fix it.
With version 5.0.1.429761, you can't connect remotely if your phone is connected via wifi. It only connects remotely to the coach on cellular data. Also, when the app updates and you use it for the first time, you can't be on wifi either or you can't get past the spinning icon. Once in, the voltage display is blank. This update is a serious step backwards in functionality. Would be good if the developers actually asked their users what they like and dislike and then use beta testers to work out the bugs before releasing to the general public.
New App is a step up. Areas for improvement: Leveler screen needs to be improved. It's normally used while standing outside in the glaring sun with sweaty fingers. Buttons need to be larger and screen needs to be more visible. Generator needs to show hours. Tire Linc unit settings need to be able to show PSI for pressure and Celsius for temperature at the same time without needing to go into settings to switch units from standard to metric. Can't wait for the next update. Keep up the good work!
As soon as I installed the latest version, I can no longer connect to my RV. App opens to my PIN screen and just turns. It acts like it is loading, but never does. I have uninstalled/reinstalled three times... no luck. I wish I could restore the previous version.
Was able to use app once, it won't connect or find our rv even putting in all the data. Have s21 have called support, Uninstaller several times. Disappointing, it was nice to turn on lights when arriving.
Not impressed at all!! Useless right now, I have a brand new Wolf Pup travel trailer with the One Control panel and module, the Insight backup camera, and I cannot connect to them at all with this app!! I'm able to see the components in the Bluetooth and WiFi lists on my S20 FE so I know the phone sees them and they are broadcasting their ID, but the app seems to be the big problem! Fix please. Otherwise these systems are useless!! I have submitted an error report from the app, if that even works!
Once in a while voltage might display. And occasionally things might be offline. Newest update takes away the guessing as to what might happen. ZIP, NOTHING works. It's all offline, no voltage, completely useless. Update has taken things from poor to nonfunctional.
Update 5.0.1 is horrible. Work around is too turn off wifi and mobile data, open the app (will show offline for devices), turn on wifi and wait a minute and things will come online. Once you switch screens and come back to One control it only spins again and you have to exit app and go through the procedure again. Very frustrating!!
July 19 just got an update. Back to working good again. Back to 5 stars. I see a new fix now on Aug 14 but haven't put this in. I've been using it all of April and now they do an update and now it won't work. I tricked it and got it going but now just waits for bluetooth or something. Why did they mess with it when it was working. This happened before too. I'll go back to 5 stars when it gets working
Have to keep Uninstalling and reinstaling for it to work now. It was fine before why change it! This is ridiculous, has never really worked well except for jacks and auto level, tried putting slides out multiple times and has never worked.
Hi guys, downloaded your one control app today. I have an android device and a 2019 Riverstone with wifi for my one control. The app would not read the sticker to auto connect and only showed me bluetooth connections. I did finally manually connect by typing out all of the Wifi connect data.
I see all the negative reviews and I'm wondering if the developers are watching. The app quality has significantly declined. It wasn't that great before but now it's useless. It won't even let me select the year of my RV to complete the setup and then it says it's connected but I can't do anything. This is a major feature on expensive RVs that should just work. I run a software engineering team so I understand issues happen however this product shouldn't have been released with all the issues.
Horrible.. won't connect after update. I have absolutely nothing positive to say, nothing has been done to fix this app. The update made the app inop for me. Prior to update the app was at least working.
Used to work fine. Now, everything shows offline. Tried reconnecting, forgetting and starting over, rebooting. Can't get it to work anymore. Samsung S10+, Alpha Wolf camper. Also, QR scanner doesn't work well at all. Sad. I really liked the remote ability.
The app is ok. With the money that lippert makes I think they could have a better app. I wish the font in the app was was bigger and that it will go into landscape mode, but I guess I'm stuck with the reading everything side ways. I do think that this could be something really good if they would just invest more time into it.
Voltage no longer works. Not all devices show up on my wife's phone. Asks me to log in a lot. Unresponsive and needs restarted often. Need I go on?
Terribly buggy, disconnects from the RV constantly. Won't connect to the camera. Useless app for controlling my RV
Serious downgrade and buggy compared to last version. Lippert you need to address these issues asap. All of the below issues, concerns and complaints are true.
Absolutely archaic and completely useless. It simply doesn't work. It disconnects itself and I can't get it to reconnect. I have tried it all, QR code, scan, even manually entering the id and password. This is absolutely ridiculous and needs to be fixed.
I just love this app, I can turn on the interior and exterior lights on my camper before I come back to it if I have been out and about. Also helps with set up and breakdown because it also runs the slide out function. A win, win.
I lost the voltage reading with the update. Was able to connect 1 time. Now I have to clear cash to open. Bing back the app that worked.
If I could rate this a zero, I would. Won't even let me get to the point where I can even connect with my coach. All I want is to just be able to run the slides and the lights. Not worth the effort.
So glad they updated the app, now it never shows voltage and works half the time. But hey they updated it to black and white....
Just updated the app and it is a major step backwards. Unless the camper is connected/plugged in to the tow vehicle, it thinks the unit is in motion and often locks you out from using most of the controls. On the rare ocassion that everything does work, just something as simple as turning the lights on more often than not has a major delay in doing so. Since the App update, It no longer shows the battery voltage. In regards to the backup camera. As soon as you try to use this, it just briefly shows a black screen and then the entire OneControl app has to be all setup from scratch all over from pairing, setting make, model, floorplan etc. Completely HORRIBLE app upgrade. This is on my Samsung Galaxy S20 and on my Samsung Tab S tablet. Am reading that IPAD/IPhone users having similar issues. Best thing you can do now LCI is to either get a fix out or rollback to yoru previous version of the app.
