LD-Log tracks your travel routes using the device's GPS receiver. Waypoints are taken either manually or automatically with a user-definable interval set in minutes. As such, the app is designed to consume very little battery power.
In addition LD-Log offers a tracking mode, allowing you to record your movements by the second. You may switch precise tracking on and off while you are logging.
The editable waypoint-list for each route of your trip lets you create a detailed diary of your complete journey. Add photos to your waypoints by shooting them directly from LD-Log or importing them at a later time. Trips, routes and journals may be stored in many different ways.
LD-Log has an integrated bearing compass as well as an optionally usable sail mode for offshore sailing which makes it possible to keep a complete nautical ship's log.
LD-Log is being used to document a wide range of travel situations: hikes, bicycle tours, cruises, city walks, voyages, road trips, ship and boat tours, photo geotagging, collecting geo locations (POI), etc.

I drive a narrowboat in England and use LD-Log to keep a log for myself and if asked for the Canal and River Trust (the licencing authority). I put in a trip (eg "London to Bristol") and then each day log a route (eg "Little Venice to Southhall") which is the equivalent to a page in the trip log. I save the trips onto the cloud so if I drop the phone in the cut I do not lose the logs. I particularly like having the option to take photos and add my own comments to the log.
Setting measurements units is meaningless. Everything still comes up Metric.

This is a great app, not having to be online is a life saver as I have no cell phone coverage. Just did the updated, no change still a great app, good to see WGS84 is available. Any chance of MGRS being added also?
Best app for kayaking. Tracked more than 1600 km paddling, without any problems.
Good but please add the auto start log when smartphone is switched on
There seems to be no way to set the directory this app uses to store files. So far, this is my only objection. The response given below can not be true. I have numerous apps on my "unrooted" android that have settings allowing me to specify any folder, including folders on my sdcard as the default storage folder for the app.
Works well without draining battery.
Great for forestry usage. Can make inventory easy to document. Would be good if can set automatic template in waypoints.

Just started using this app for my trail rides and really like its functionality
Great for traveling. Shows me where I was at what time. Synchronize with my camera.
Needs a simple "print' command so i can save trips to PDF format. Also a reduced log time would be nice for short trips 15,30,45 sec intervals.
Very good app, very low battery usage, would like some small features, i.e. showing what profile the program is currently using, biking running etc. and Warning window when you create a new route, I always forget to first create a new route, so it added to a old one.
