LDS Scripture Citation Index
With this app you can see how speakers have referenced scriptures in General Conference and other LDS writings. This app lets you navigate easily between scriptures and talks. The talks come from LDS.org or from our web site, so you need an active network connection when using this app.
This app also includes a convenient table of contents for General Conference and the Journal of Discourses. The content for General Conference comes from LDS.org (for talks from 1971-present) or from our web site (for talks from 1942-1970).
We are gradually adding features found on our web site to this app. The web site currently has filtering features not found on the mobile app.

I'm experiencing the same thing the previous reviewer mentioned - The database no longer downloads (on Samsung Galaxy S9). It just says "Download paused", and spins. I also have tried to uninstall and reinstall, but I'm still getting the same behavior. I've found the app very useful in the past, so I hope it is resolved soon. Would be a 4 or 5 if I could get it to work.
UPDATE: It works great now! Thank you! Downloaded the new version today (5/19) and it crashes when I try and do a search. I can see and open everything in the apps library so as far as I can tell everything works except for the search function. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app as well as restarted my phone. I have a Galaxy S9+. I have also sent feedback via the apps feedback option and included the system logs.
Reference material is great. Quick accurate access to "vague" memory references. I was frustrated as most updates seem to purge the previous index and force a new download before you can lookup anything. To "fix" this I turned off auto updates, so I could control when an update occurred, and if necessary download a new index on a fast wifi or strong cell signal. I'll give give stars when the developer finds a way to use old index while new index is downloading or dynamic delta index updates
Can't use gospel library after downloading this app
I love the purpose of this app. I use it daily and am quickly reaching a point where I cannot live without it. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I keep running into a minor bug (I assume it's a bug). When I follow a citation from the top of a page in the TPJS and return to the page I can no longer scroll to the top. As I approach the top of the page the screen spontaneously jumps back down to the start of the citations on that page. I hope this description is useful.
Great when it works. Got a new phone and have the same issue many others are having...can't download database. **update** Works perfectly after the update to version 2.8.9. Thanks to the developer for responding quickly. Love the app.
I LOVE this app! I use it almost daily. It is my favorite way to supplement my scripture reading each day. I have recommended it to friends and neighbors because it's too good not to share. Whether you're working on a talk or just trying to better understand a scripture topic, this is the best all-inclusive app. Thank you for making it and providing such a great resource!
I absolutely love this app! I wish more people were aware of it. Most often, I mention the Citation Index to someone and am told they had never heard of the app. This app should be a ready reference to every student of the scriptures. It truly helps define "feasting upon the scriptures." My only suggestion would be to allow the ability to copy and paste. Keep up the great work!
Some functions are a little awkward, but those issues are negliagble when compared to the amazing opportunities this app opens. I love it, it enhances my study a phenomenal amount.
I love citation index! I stumbled upon it about 9-10 years ago. It helps me understand the scriptures better. My daughter needed to write a talk and I told her about citation index and she now loves the app too! I have recommended this app and it's a wonderful tool. It goes with with the lds scriptures. What ever verse or chapter you're studying it's got references for that verse or chapter. It's got talks and conference talks to help you understand what you are reading. I love citation index!
At first I couldn't download the database, but they were quick and helpful in responding. I now have full access and it looks like a huge cash of hopefully useful data.
I would love to give a rating but as yet I have been unable to download it onto my Galaxy 9. I have uninstalled and reinstalled a million times and it just won't download and install. How I wish it would!!! I have seen other people using it and they seem very happy with it. I have yet to experience it for myself though.
Have found it to indispensible in gospel study and talk and lesson preparation on my phone and tablet. However I would like to be able to place on my laptop as an app to use at home . Is that possible? Thank you for all of your good work .This is a wonderful help.
This is my favorite scripture- and Gospel-study tool! I love being able to search by word, phrase, speaker, year, or scripture.
the bug preventing this from installing on my Samsung galaxy tab notebook was resolved. loaded now without any problems. thanks so much for making this available
It's a great app for scripture study. But it needs to be updated MUCH more frequently. None of 2020 GC is on there and we just has April 2021...

can't download the database. for how well this works on iOS this is very upsetting edit: newest update fixed the download issue.

Had it for a few years now. Great resource for access to many wonderful nuggets of gospel truths.
App keeps saying "download paused". Nothing can be done to un-pause it.
I love this site. My mission President shared it with us to dive into our studies and since then I've been using it. I love that it's also one In Spanish.

After the last update, the database no longer downloads on Pixel 3. It just says "Download Paused". I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app with out success. It was a great app when it worked, so I hope that this issue is resolved in a future update. EDIT: The issue has now been fixed and the database actually downloaded. Thanks!
