Another game from Asmodee that behaves badly on long screens because they don't care to update them for modern devices. See the dialog closing button on the bottom of the screen during tutorial chapter on special buildings. At least this seems still playable ...not like Onirim that is totally useless on my phone.
Once I got a handle on everything the game became really fun. I bought this on a whim because I really like Uwe Rosenberg's work but never played the board game version and here lies the major problem: The tutorial is AWFUL! I appreciate narration and quirkiness in tutorials from other asmodee games (isle of Skye and patchwork come to mind) but after going through this one THREE times I was still left with my head scratching. I had to download the pdf of the board game.
i could rate this higher but there's an annoying loop at game end. Also I cant find anywhere a way to undo our actions before submitting and the settings button in midgame shows a set of options that can't be dismissed. workaround for both is getting out and back in the game.
The gameplay is decent (I haven't played the physical board game though) and engaging for a few plays. The menu UI is horrible though. In game it's not too bad but exiting the game once it is finished is really buggy
I want to rate this higher, but I have defeated all the AI difficulty levels and online play is problematic. I can seemingly offer online matches but have no way to specify quick match only, so every game I offer has a time limit of 24 hours and opponents can simply run the time out.
Buggy. Went thru a whole game with no problems, but the victory screen went into a weird endless loop, somehow still doing a calculating points animation in the background after the completed score popup displayed.
Buggy interface. Got stuck on a screen on my first game. No undo button, no back button in the tutorial, the list goes on... Unplayable.
Has almost nothing to do with the Le Have boardgame. Game play is simplistic and unsatisfying. Certainly not worth the $5 I paid.
Terrible UX and poor quality gameplay. It's pretty unfortunate since the board game is great.
The tutorial isn't intuitive. It tells you what you can do, but it doesn't show you how. Fix this game and I might be back.
the gameplay is great but the app bugs out during scoring causing me to force close.
So buggy can't complete one online game
Addictive little app.
I have never played this game as a board game, and the tutorial is definitely not sufficient for a total beginner. I regret the purchase.
Great game. There is a frustrating online mode bug when you are paying for a building and you tab back to the building screen. The piece gets stuck, and you are unable to pay for it or do anything else. I ended up losing a turn because of that.
The game rules quite complex but the tutorial is great and when you figure out how to play, it's fun and enjoyable.
Can't even get through a game without it crashing. Had a few games from admired but this ruins their reputation.
Huge fan of the board game and love this version too!
Fine adaptation, but AI is pathetically bad.
What more do you want? This is a great game.
Love it. Another great board game port. Love the game and the background animations and sounds. Only weakness: The developers put a fair amount of effort into the intros, but they still need some work; I still needed to watch some YouTube and read the user guide to understand the game.
Just installed and the screen just goes black on Pixel XL; no sound and no controls. I reinstalled the game and restarted the phone too.
Black screen on Google Pixel. Will not load despite repeated tries.
Great game and the app makes it works well. Small improvement- when paying for building, it would be good to see how much has been paid so far, rather than simply saying how much you need in total, also someone I cannot login to the internet to play with others.
Excellent "port" of this game! (See what I did there?) 😆
The game is good and fun but if play it many times , it may be little boring. User interface is good. Bug in the game is less, I found once that I can't open maybe cause of sd card and I fixed by reinstall the game. I think the game should have option to hide score or wealth on upper right and left for exciting and more fun and the game is too easy, it should have a very hard mode. If the game can hide score and has very hard mode , I will give 5*.
After a few times playing it, its pretty boring, mostly for doing the same thing in every game.
Great game! Different strategies you can follow to win. Two player game against AI has challenging levels
Mostly a nice implementation, but a few choices puzzle me. Why, at the end of the day, must we move each building to the next area one by one? The physical boardgame doesn't even make you do that! Why, at final scoring, must we convert each building to coins one by one, to get the total that's been onscreen the whole time? As many others have lamented, why no undo? Also experiencing the final scoring bug: game keeps cycling buildings in the background, caluculating progressively lower scores.
