Quite useless as it won't see any of my ODBii adapters, wifi or bluetooth which other apps can see and use. So a quick update, 15.11.20, I bought the recommend LELink adapter and the app still refused to connect, tried an older version of Android and it worked fine, the developer is being very lazy here I feel as this should be compatible with the current version of the OS. I was going to buy Pro but if the dev simply can't be bothered to keep his app updated I have little faith in making that purchase.
Using LeafSpy Lite I could not get my Android phone (version 9) to see the bluetooth LELink2 OBDII hardware device. Once I upgraded to LeafSpy Pro, the hardware was immediately recognized and that works fine. Does Lite have a connection recognition issue that Pro does not?
Works for me, it time to connect to the obd2 reader but it eventually worked. Showed the state of charge % and battery health %, also shows battery temperature which is nice to know. Perfect for basic needs.
I guess new UI must be implemented. I don't understand all the short form term until i google it one by one (not user friendly). I am happy to pay for it if the user friendly UI get implemented
The new version requires permissions for features I have zero interest in. Disappointed that the developer has fallen into the cycle of taking a simple app and converting it into a multi-tool.
Hi, there. The app just gets stuck at searching for network and wouldn't find my obd dongle. I managed to connect the dongle with other apps, so don't think it's a problem with the dongle. What else can I try? Cheers
Great technical support! Have been using the app for over a year. It was a vital tool when I went shopping for my 2nd used Leaf.
Great app. I was able to use it to connect to a Leaf BMS on the bench.
Doesn't work for me since my phone updated to android 10. Was working fine on previous android version.
Not sure why, but it's not connecting to the dongle. Does onlye the Konnwei KW902 works with the app?. What abou the OBD Link MX or EX? Thanks
Mostly useless app, with ugly UI, can't add anything to standard Leaf info.
Great idea, doesn't work. "[BtS] Read failed, socket might closed or timeout, read ret: -1"
It worked the first time. However since then it just keeps giving a [ASE] Broken pipe
Great info about your Leaf for folks that like detailed info about their Leafs. Also relatively straight forward to configure and use. Wish there were a version for my Bolt EV.
Works on my 2011 SL, but only works with certain compatible Bluetooth ELM327 dongle 😒
tried to connect but wouldn't connect using an ELM327 on my android version 10 on my samsung galay a10
I can't get any wifi devices to come up, is the app faulty???
Great tool to check whether this works before going full Monty.
Why this not working with all OBD adapters?. It will be great if support any kind of OBD brands.
Havd to pribide informatiion that is not needed for functionality.
it worked on the old phone but not on the new one
doesn't working on new android pleas fix it
'Battery State of Health (SOC)' in your description doesn't make sense. Do you mean state of charge, or SOH???
Upgraded to pro version for more finctions
Must have app if you have a Nissan Leaf!
Must have for owners :)
Nice tool to check Leaf's battery status and temperature
Essential app for Leaf owners. PLEASE add an option to have a floating overlay showing climate controls, so Leaf SV/SL owners can upgrade their factory nav to an Android unit and not have to lose climate controls! Would gladly pay for Pro and even an additional fee for this. Right now you can only see climate settings in one page of the app.
