A great platformer game that is a classic. That kick is still vicious as I remember it!
This game is awesome! Highly recommend to any fan of platforming games! Keep on makin awesome games!
Nice and challenging and runs well on my awful samsung galaxy fame
Fun game but puases after Évry level
My second loved platformer game
This was last updated on my birthday :DDDDD
Most Free to play games are ad heavy. This one only shows ads every few levels. 8-bit graphics and music are amazing. A most try for those completionists like myself due to having a three star rating and collecting briefcases. Only wished there was a stat for killing every enemy in the level.
The controls are different and a little hard to get used to but overall this is a Good game. However, I would like to see a reward for beating this game perfectly in the 4 missions offered (like unlocking the impossible missions). I spent a lot of time getting 3 stars for every single level in the 4 different missions as well as every single briefcase. That takes a lot of effort but in the end there is no real reason to do all of that...
Its really the best retro platformer game i ever played but the only thing i dont like is the stars at every level.you need to finish the level at a time of 15 seconds to get all 3 stars.i was playing the tultorial and i finished for 1 min.extend the time for the stars and i will rate it a clear,OUTSTANDING 5 CHAMPION STARS
My only beef is that sometimes it demands too much precision out of just regular touch controls. I would definitely expect a better experience using some kind of controller. Though my cat rubbing up against my hands while I play is one of my biggest score breakers right now.
Had a perfect run on the first world and it's challenging and frustrating to the right point, nice level design and responsive controls! It makes me wish Team Meat had released super meat boy for mobile. But then again, this game is so good maybe I don't really need SMB :)
I Don't find it repetitive at all. Love the complexity of certain levels as if playing through a speed run with only a frame or two to make it through. Music kinda sucked but that's not important. Smooth gameplay and controls nice artwork. Pretty funny story. Just work on certain lag issues in the menu and after completing a level. Other than that it's pure gold.
fun to an extent but you might enjoy it. the game is difficult for those looking for a challenge even with a, its fun but hard to 100%, and there are lots of techniques to use to complete the levels which makes the game unique cause you're figuring out new techniques to complete a level. the game has some flaws like when I complete a level, a delay happens and the game can be repetitive, the story to some can be stupid, but this is a game recommend for those looking for a challenge and not for the story.
Solid controls, awesome graphics and music, and a large selection of levels makes this one of the best mobile games I've ever played. Perfect for fans of Super Meat Boy. My only problem is that the position of the buttons can become uncomfortable after a while, but all that says to me is that it's a good time to stop playing!
Great little retro platform game. Music, graphics, controls all very polished and professional. The time and collectible achievements make it really replayable. I don't usually even like this sort of level memorization reflex platformer, but the short level length makes it really enjoyable.
Well made, controls are good, looks good, and the soundtracks are downright awesome. However, 2 things could be improved: 1) there is a lag between the end of the level and when the menu pops up, and 2) the levels need to be a LOT longer. It takes me an average of around 30 seconds to complete each one.
This game is not something to take on lightly. It will test your platforming skills and patience with difficult but not cheap (apart from those spinning spikes, their hitboxes are weird) you will not be battered with abilities to purchase retries or skip levels by shoving your wallet into their vault. If your looking for a proper platforming challenge then this game is for you! Good luck.
It's fun, challenging, and isn't asking me for money every 30 seconds. More developers should put effort into making a quality game like this and less effort into trying to nickel and dime their players at every given opportunity. Kudos to you, Noodlecake.
Insanely addicting and the replay ability comes from the fact that the stars are from times, not briefcases, and for the briefcases you missed. One in app purshase that is not necessary for progression. If I could, I'd rate higher. Hats off to you Noodlecake. Only thing though, is that some of the spinning spike hammers have wierd hit boxes, but not all. Best part for me is that the chalenge is at good levels. One suggestion is to add a level editor.
Platformers are probably my favorite genre of game. I always check them out and I really love it when they're Retro! Some Say its Repeative but that's what makes it good. Seeing how one obstacle can be arranged or used to make a great challenge was always a great part of them. Anyway, Game's Great. Controls are a Little touchy and sometimes stick.
Super fun and rewarding in short bursts. I'm about halfway through the first world and every 3 star time/briefcase collect has been achievable. It could be more challenging, but at this level of challenge it constantly itches the success part of my brain. I'd give this game 5 stars if the controls were a little more stable. Sometimes a direction glitches out and thinks you're still pressing it when you totally aren't.
This game for an 8 bit platformer on a touch screen device is perfect. The controls are simple, mechanics are spot on. The gameplay is incredibly addictive whilst also is extremely challenging at times. This is proof that you can make a great game on android without it having to be a generic fps.
I beat it (not counting time trials or collecting all of the briefcases). It was a challenge, but not in the right ways. A lot of the areas almost require you to do things blindly or throw things at you that you would have to die to more than once to figure out what you're dieing to. All around, the levels felt falsely difficult and like I was more likely to win by luck than skill. It's good to play on occasion but don't sit down intending to beat a specific level without getting angry at those spike boxes.
I was looking for more of a platformer type game with substance. This is a mildly challenging game in which the levels can usually be beaten in under ten seconds. I respect it for what it is, which feels to me like Duke Nukem meets Super Meat Boy. Levels feel very repetitive, though, and there's nothing to make you think, which is a bummer imo.
It's a great game and is really fun and challenging, but there are a few major problems that affect the game play. 1) The controls are inconsistent, sometimes the jump button gets jammed and that's terrible for an action platformer. 2) The spinning hammers are very inconsistent. Sometimes I am no where near them and I die and sometimes the player and the hammer touch and I do not die. 3) The most frustrating thing of all is the bloody timer. It keeps going for a second extra after you kill the scientist at the end of the mission, which can be infuriating when you are trying to get full stars and you are one second over the limit. I hope these issues get addressed but I doubt it since the last update was in 2012.
Def a top tier platformer with fantastic music and controls. Really makes you wanna buy the full version.
