Fantastic launcher with a huge issue! First off, this is a simple minimal launcher which was what I was looking for, however, there is a massive issue where long holding on the home screen or long holding down on an icon doesn't work at all. This is kind of a deal breaker for me so I'll have to find something else until the issue is fixed.

I love how much I can customize and clean up my home screen and app drawer. One thing that's been irritating me though is how tapping on an empty space in the home screen causes a light up effect. When you combine that with the double tap to lock feature, you get this feeling of it being buggy. It's such a nit picky thing, but it really messes the minimalist aesthetic up. I can't find any way to remove it, and with an all black background it becomes especially noticeable and irritating.

The app has a lot of customization from what I could tell in trying it out. However, there is a fundamental flaw in that the amount of real estate on screen isn't completely used. There is a definitive space/buffer on all sides of each page. In launchers like Nova, this buffer can be shrunk down or removed. It presents a problem because when you swipe left or right to change pages, the swipe will not register if it is inside the buffer. You have to place your thumb much higher to change pages.

I've been using this for a few months on my Android 8 Oreo phones and it's hands-down the best launcher I've tried. Memory usage seems to be on par with the stock launcher. For some reason when I first installed it would not recognize touch-and-hold, so I couldn't drag any icons around. I spent half an hour trying options and searching on the Internet. Rebooted phone and now it works. Maybe one more time it's done this. It's been very reliable.

my personal favorite launcher. useful features and minimalist. allows you to spend as little time as necessary to look up apps. hiding also non essential ones. definitely one of the faster and cleaner launchers available. I have yet to experience a bug or a glitch! also, the developer is an honest and upright individual. support him!

Amazing and simple launcher, yet it comes with heaps of features. This should be the stock launcher on every rom - it just works as expected. If you have an app that isn't supported by the icon pack, and you then find a close-enough icon for it, it won't change back to default after that app gets updated, and it updates it on the home and list pages!! Such a simple feature almost no launcher does. Keep up the amazing work!!

Really love this slick little launcher, there are a few issues though which could make it better. Currently the home screen and app draw share settings for icon sizes and layout, they need to be separate. I want a row of four icons in my app drawer and five on my home screen to match the five on the bottom in the dock (or hotseat as you call it), I can't because as I said they are not separate. Also it would be nice to have padding options for the home screen so we can move rows closer together and widgets etc. And that's really all, it's really brilliant apart from those two little things. Hoping here that you could add those options ☺️

Having used this for a few months now, I can say that it has been great overall. I'm an Android purist and this has given me the closest to stock Google experience that I've found. Super simple and clean interface all while allowing for plenty of customization. It has had moments where it has lagged a bit, but they were very minor and very few and far between. All and all, it has replaced my stock Moto Z3 launcher and I don't see myself going back any time soon.

Pretty good with decent options. A few oddities: can choose any icon from any pack which is great but I don't see how to apply an entire pack at once; home search bar keeps Google icon even when using another engine; app drawer search has same icon even though it's not a web search; no option to disable labels on home, though can edit each one manually.

It's a pretty great launcher which has low memory footprint and has just enough features for homescreen customisation, but the thing that bugs me, is its non responsiveness for certain elements that become un-clickable after applying a certain setting, say after setting on Generate Adaptive Icons, I am unable to go to Lean Settings by long pressing on home screen. Various other glitches just turn me off.

From trying this out seems to work great. Lots of nice customization options. One thing I couldn't find is how to set one page as default, such that pressing home button again would snap to it. Another issue that seems to affect all 3rd party launchers on galaxy A50 is that widgets have a larger font size than on the default launcher which makes them hard to read.

Dev please read: Setting custom wallpaper ihas been a real dent in my overall UX. I have this on a device running Marshmallow, and its great. But on this Oreo device, the wallpaper 1) has major image cropping issues, effectively making the customization process useless because 2) The image looks terrible when cropped due to no screen ratio- it's always zoomed in and pixelated even with high res images, 3) The wallpaper ALWAYS JUMPS AND MOVES upon switching to the home screen!

Love this launched but there's one annoying bug which disables me from long press the icons and home screen to change wallpaper. It happens randomly. I just hope that the devs could take a look into this issue because it's annoying and frustrating when you have to restart the launcher every time it happen.

I really like lean launcher and it's clean design. The only thing that I am really looking forward to is launcher layout backups and a way to bypass region lock on Google now. The latter however is something that might be difficult and not that important compared to the prior which would be a very convenient feature.

Ive used the stock Pixel Launcher on my Pixel 5 for the past few months. I think its great it's just the size of the At-a-glance widget started bothering me. With Lean Launcher I finally found the perfect replacement. Looking at the home screens it's hard to tell which one is which. And with the added customization features that come with Lean Launcher... It really is the perfect substitute. Only downside is not being able to customize the folders but small price to pay for overall benefits

Simple, beautiful and very efficient. I like how you kept all the necessary tweaking options but didn't overload it with too much customization. Just one suggestion, could you add app categories in the drawer, either folders or sections? That'll make it even more perfect.

Simply wow ! The best launcher on android . Lean launcher debug version is almost 99% flawless plus with google feed that works so well couldnt ask for anything . Icon packs + icon size customization + all those other goodies makes this launcher great and also keeping up the lightweight , the app is adfree , easy settings makes it a top noch launcher . I highly recommend to all :)

It is great, but: 1- it takes long time to launch specially after reboot, please fix that!! 2- sometimes when first installing it : [holding doesn't do anything] to add widgets or edit apps, but after ten minutes and after cleaning data and cache several times it automatically get fixed. I experienced these problems on several devices not in one

Superb launcher, small, very effective and lots of tweaks can be made whilst other launchers deem these basic tweaks not important enough to include in their launchers, I beg to differ. Keep up the great work. It does sometimes forget to bring up the contextual menu in the app drawer and have to restart the launcher but can cope with this. I would also like more updates but I suppose why fix something if it isn't broken!

Best launcher for low end devices.... Used for a minute and became fan of it.. I have an old tab with 1gb ram, even stock launcher lagee but this works very smooth with no lag. Also I have a feature request for more animation option which can be switched...Thanks for this app.

Very good lightweight and basic launcher which is based off of the stock Google launcher. It's a good launcher for low end phones with little RAM and storage. It works just the same as a stock Google launcher. I appreciate that it doesn't have data collection unlike most launchers, and it only uses 7MB. My only complaint is that you can't disable the Google search bar, please include an option to turn that off!

Very fast and responsive launcher. Compared to Nova, it has less customization options which is fine if you are not into heavy mods. If you are really looking for a Pixel-like experience that is similar to Rootless Launcher with additional options, this is for you.

Sud. S. Oct 19, 2018

Nova is usually my goto launcher, but i am trying this out, it's good. Keep it up. But it lacks some feature, like, 1)resizing icons like nova, 2)folder option in app drawer 4)Change icon from gallery rather than native icon pack app, 5)icon changing page works slowly. 6)Resizing widgets, 7)over lapping of widget options are missing, that is the main reason for me sticking with nova. 8) backing up the current settings. There are issues, minimal issues, if it is worked out, i am sold. Good job guys, its almost a month that i haven't used nova. Just add the app drawer folder option like nova does, it would be great. Option for assistant in search bar should be added.

Excellent Pixel-style launcher with all the important customisation. One small quality of life change for larger screen devices would be to decrease the distance you have to swipe to open/close the app drawer since swiping up/down half the height of the screen is uncomfortable.

This launcher got quickly abandoned. I can see it hasn't been updated since 2018 and it's noticeable. It's missing a lot of the newer features and overall once in a while have encountered some problems. It was a cool launcher, but sad to see it die

Jus. M. Jan 6, 2019

My go-to launcher. Seriously, it's amazing. Every setting is nice and simple and quick to navigate. My ONLY request (which makes a huge difference in how a phone feels) is to make the app opening animation the same to that of the authentic pixel launcher. Otherwise 5 stars!

One glitch: the Google search bar provided by the launcher now defaults to voice search on my Pixel 6 Pro with no discernible way to force it back to conventional operation. Had to dump the launcher's bar in favor of a widget.

I bought a cheaper phone outright to get outta contracts a Nokia 3.4 I only want it to do a bit of music Internet and calls and it was randomly freezing all time ever since I changed to this launcher it's stopped this problem it's made the phone lot faster and is using less ram and cpu etc it's made the phone tolerable again thanks.

Love this launcher. Its lite and fast for my sluggish phone. The custom options are great and allows ne to make everything tiny. The app drawer is a nice touch. Now i can easily add my most used apps on the home screen and leave everything else in the drawer, so now my screen isnt a cluttered mess.

Great app, loved the experience and customisation. I just wish there were Google cards to the left of the home screen, ànd I also wish that the double tap to lock actually locks the screen without disabling biometrics unlock methods. Also can the navigation buttons be color-filled like in the Pixels? Thanks in advance!
